Marks POV
While Jack was visiting me in L.A we decided to drive along the forest edge.
We were laughing and having a good time when suddenly a deer ran into the middle of the road.
I swerved to not hit it and slammed into a tree, I passed out.
~Le time skip~
I woke up and the sun was setting I looked in the passenger seat and Jack was also passed out.
The airbags had failed and the windshield was cracked, I didn't even want to know what the outside looked like.
I tried shaking Jack awake but he was out cold, I suddenly heard tremors and I froze.
There had been rumors that a giant man eating creature lived here. Suddenly a shadow was cast over my car.
Huge skin colored tree trunks slowly wrapped around the car and suddenly gravity hit me like a ton of bricks.
I tried even harder to wake Jack up as quickly and quietly as possible.
I saw a bottle of water in the cupholder. I opened it and splashed water on him and he jolted awake.
"DUD-" I placed my hand over his mouth he looked at me confused. "Shhh." He nodded his head.
I removed my hand and he stayed silent, he looked out of the window and whimpered.
I looked out my side and gasped, we were so high up. Suddenly whatever was holding us turned the car around.
My eyes widened with fear, it was the rumor giant, the man eating rumor giant.
I started hyperventilating afraid of what would happen to us.
I looked over to Jack and he was panicking like crazy, I quickly pushed a button that locked the doors.
I don't think the giant noticed us yet, maybe they're like a T-Rex, if we don't move they won't see us.
Their eyes suddenly widened. Nope they saw us and placed us down on something. I think it was their other hand.
They looked through the cracked windshield, and smiled at us.
We suddenly started moving, they were taking us somewhere. I looked over at Jack and he was crying silently.
Jacks POV
We were just supposed to go on a peaceful drive, now we are getting taken away from society.
Probably never to be seen again. I silently started crying to myself thinking about my family.
"Hey, Jack, are you ok?" Mark asked me quietly I shook my head no.
"We're probably going to die here, how can I be ok?" I whispered back.
He nodded his head thoughtfully, "I'm scared." he whispered to me.
Suddenly we stopped.
Y/n's POV
Even though I'm a giant I still have good hearing and could hear what they were talking about.
I ignored them until I heard one of them say "We're probably going to die here so no I'm not ok."
I felt bad, I wasn't going to hurt them. Yes I know the "rumors" about me, they aren't true.
I don't and never will want to eat anybody, that's disgusting.
When I heard the other one say that they were scared I broke.
I stopped walking and lifted the car up, "You know I can hear you right?"
Then they started panicking and started apologizing like crazy.
I rolled my eyes, "I'm not going to hurt you, relax." I said calmly.
They looked confused and I started walking again back to my home.
Deep in the woods there is a giant community, literally. It's Giants and giant homes and everything to fit our needs.
When I see hurt, or lost human's in the woods I take them back to my place and help them.
Then I take them home without being seen, I just hope they understand my true intentions and not those lies.
I got back to my house and placed the broken down car on the counter.
I backed away and a little bit later they came out of the car.
They looked at me fearfully and I slowly walked over to them, I bent down to be eye level with them.
"Sooooo..... Welcome to my home..." I said awkwardly, I'm never really good with talking to people.
Marks POV
Shouldn't they be hurting us right now? I knew they said they weren't going to but I can't help but think that they were lying.
I looked over to Jack and saw that he had tears in his eyes. I looked back up to the giant and they looked heartbroken?
They picked Jack up and I closed my eyes fearing the worst.
Jacks POV
The picked me up and I started hyperventilating, I closed my eyes but then felt fabric?
"Shhh, I'm not going to hurt you." The giant said softly, I realized they were trying to hug me.
I looked back at Mark and he looked confused. "I trust you" I said to the giant.
They lifted me up to their face and smiled at me. I saw their eyes shift down and they were probably looking at Mark.
Pretty soon Mark was next to my on the Giants hand. They start asking us if we are ok or injured at all.
We shook out heads no and they sighed in relief, "That's good, I don't know how to help about the car situation though, sorry."
They rubbed the back of their neck with their free hand awkwardly.
They told us about the rumors and how they weren't true.
They also told us that they help the humans get back home.
"It's getting dark out, I think you should spend the night and I'll return you in the morning. Sound good?"
I nod my head but Mark seemed hesitant "Mark, it's ok, They won't hurt us." He then slowly nodded his head.
"Ok so my name is Y/n. What's your guys name?"
"I'm Jack and that's Mark." I responded and they nodded their heads.
They said they would be right back and left me and Mark on the counter.
"Jack, how do we know we can trust them?" "Mark if they wanted to hurt us they would've by now. They want to help us."
He sighed and nodded his head, and they came back dressed in what looked like pajamas.
They gently picked us up and brought us to their room, they had also made two make shift beds for us.
"I hope you like it, other humans that I help have used it and it worked for them."
They said with a smile? I smiled back and said thank you. Mark also ,mumbled, a thank you.
They laid down and quickly went to sleep. I got into my make shift bed and Mark got into his.
Marks POV
Marks Dream....
I woke up but o was in a glass jar of some sort, the giant walked out and smirked at me.
"You really thought I was going to help you? No! You're wrong. I was just getting a free meal~."
They growled out, panic started setting in as tried to escape the glass.
The glass lifted up and the giant grabbed me by my ankle lifting me up to their face.
They chuckled lowly and evilly. They opened their mouth and raised me above their head and dropped me in.
They closed their mouth and......
I jolted awake and sat up in my bed rather quickly and started hyperventilating.
I looked over to Jack and the giant. They were both sleeping peacefully, I got out of my bed and walked over to Jack's bed.
I started shaking him and he slowly woke up, "Maerk? Are you ok? What's wrong? Why did you wake me up?"
He stated while rubbing the sleep from his eyes, "I had a nightmare about the giant."
I started telling him my nightmare and he kept reassuring me that was never going to happen.
"They want to help us, just trust me we'll be fine." "If you want ouch your bed next to mine so you have some company."
Jack added. I pushed my bed close to jacks but not too close, and got into bed.
He stayed up chatting with me until I eventually fell back to sleep.

Y/n's POV
I woke but Mark and Jack were still asleep, so I decided to get ready.
I went to the bathroom with some clean cloths and changed, I pulled on my hiking boots and slipped on my ( f/c, Favorite color, ) hoodie.
It was supposed to be chilly today. I looked over to Mark and Jack an they were still sleeping.
I gently picked up Mark and Jack and start walking to their house.
They started waking up and started asking a bunch of questions.
"I'm taking you home....Silly." I chuckled out, the nodded their heads and directed me towards the edge of the forest closest to their house.
"Bye Mark, bye Jack." I said as I set them down, the said goodbye as well and promised not to tell anybody about me.
They thanked me and they went on their way. I was going to miss them a lot.
