"Your all ready to go Colton." The skimpy nurse purs out to Colton as he nods and turns around to face me.
"All done gorgeous, are you okay?" He asks and I nod kissing him on the lips as I am very proud he was so strong when they had to pull the bullet out, even though he cursed the nurses out.
"Colton are you guys up for a meeting we are all having one to talk about me taking over?" Leo asks his cousin as Colton nods grabbing my hand as we follow Leo into a room with a huge table with people seated around it.
"Baby girl we have to sit next to the head of the table." Colton lets me know as I go to grab a seat but push it back in quickly.
"Why can't we sit here?" I question wondering why he is trying to make me walk an extra ten steps to get to the other chair.
"I'm written in a contract to be Leo's second in command when his father retired and since he was killed now I have to step up to the position," Colton says as if it was no big deal.
I watch as he sits down and looks at all the empty chairs in the room then back up to me once he realizes I didn't sit down next to him. Pulling out my chair for me he pats the chair indicating for me to sit down but I stay standing watching his face.
"Babe sit down before everyone comes in."
"Are you fucking serious Colton?" I ask watching as his eyes scan the room making sure no one is watching me act out on their 'Second in command' my ass.
"Zara you're making a scene sit down." Oh, I'm going to fucking kill his ass he can't be fucking serious.
"You worked so damn hard to get out of this gang and even went to jail because of it and due to some fucking chicken scratch writing on a piece of paper your just gonna jump right back in." I try to stay quiet and calm for Colton's sake of embarrassment but towards the end, my anger began to sizzle out the damn pot.
"Zara st-" He starts but I cut him off.
"No Colton I think you're forgetting what just fucking happened not even three hours ago we were going to bed when your psycho uncle broke into our house and fucking beat and shot your ass. Not only you but I was also dragged into this shit when I was almost fucking raped by not only your uncle but his friend Kevin... Now you're going to sit at the head of the table and act as your second in command... You know what Colton sometimes enough is enough." Not a single tear was present on my face they were sucked up and consumed by my anger as I knew what I had to do.
I simply cannot live and love a man that has no love for his own life as he runs around playing gang leader with his friends.
"Zara...Baby stop." Colton stands grabbing my arms trying to pull me to him knowing what I'm about to do and say but I shove him off of me and back up so we have at least three feet in between us.
However, he doesn't seem to deal well with the space between us as he goes down to his knees and looks up at me with watery eyes.
"Zara I fucking love you please don't leave me, please, please, please baby I love you." He whines out in a husky voice making him so much more attractive and this so much harder.
"Colt-" I start but stop as he craws over on his knees and hugs my legs resting his head very close to my crotch area.
"Colton it's me or the gan-" For the thousandth time I am cut off as he swiftly shoots up from his knees and smashes his lips on mine before he pulls away and cups my face between his hands.
"Zara I will always fucking choose you don't you ever forget that." He claims making me blush and try to hide my face in his chest but his hands cupping my head forbid me from doing so.
"Well can we please go home then since your not going to be apart of this?" Instead of using his voice he nods and leans in kissing my nose before pulling us back out of the room and into the hallway.
"Wait, Colton, where are you going dude?" Leo yells down the opposite side of the hallway making us both pause our footing only to turn and find him right behind us.
"Sorry cuz but I would rather not join back into the gang life. Congratulations on becoming leader and you know I'm here for you but I love my girl more than the gang, therefore, I'm resigning from my position." Watching Leo I notice not an ounce of anger being present on his handsome face. Instead, admiration as a small smile shines on his face.
"Well, Colt good luck with your lady and might I say you've got yourself a looker." And there it is when Leo ruins the small bit of liking I was growing towards him well that and the way his eyes were scanning up and down my body reminding me of his fathers own eyes.
"Bye Leo." I decide to cut things short hoping Colton will get the memo that I want to leave but his tightened jaw makes it seem like he wants to stay and pound his cousin's face in.

"Zara baby are you sure your okay?" I look over to my right to see Colton's loving green eyes staring into my own with nothing but concern held inside them.
"Colt for the one millionth I am fine." Yes, he's sweet and wants to make sure I'm okay but he's also very annoying asking me every second if I'm okay. At first, it hurt when he wouldn't touch me but after seeing my hurt expressions earlier he notified me that it was only because he doesn't want to upset me.
"Zara there is no way your fucking fine so just tell me what's wrong and stop acting as nothing happened." He raised his voice a bit unwrapping his arms from around my body and stands up.
"Colt I kn-"
"No Zara you don't fucking know, you watched two men get killed, your boyfriend get shot and tortured, and the icing on the fucking tripled layered chocolate cake you almost got raped." Wrapping my arms around my shaking body I dig my had between my knees and let my emotions loose.
I absolutely hate everything that has happened and I wish it simply did not, however, I don't have a damn Cosmo and Wanda to help me out. To be honest it's better to just shove everything to the back of my mind and not think about it any longer.
"Love I'm sorry, please don't cry baby." Colton's voice whispers in my ear making me instantly lean towards his wanting his warm body to cuddle me.
"Stop don't say your sorry Colt I'm just sick and tired of everything. Recently everything has been so gray and I hate when we fight and then this whole thing happens and I just want it to all go away and the only way for it too is to forget about it all." Feeling his arms wrap tighter around me I'm nothing but thankful as he snuggles his head into my neck and lays a soft kiss relaxing me.
"Everythings going to be okay beautiful I'm never going to let anything happen to you again and as for us fighting I'm sorry I keep fucking up baby and I can't promise I won't anger you again but I love you so fucking much it scares me."
'Ring' 'Ring' 'Ring'
My phone blares making me stand up and search for it like a dog before Colton lifts it in the air handing it to me. Feeling how warm the phone is I know his fat ass has been sitting on it.
"Hello," I answer the phone waiting for the other end to speak and frown once they don't. Pulling the cheap crappy phone from my face I look down to find that I never answered it instead it ended so I decided to call the number back.
"Hey, Darling I forgot to tell you we are all going to dinner tonight to officially meet Calvin as your brother's boyfriend and no longer friend. I also took the liberty of inviting the Primroses so your little lover can tag along." Laughing at her words I look over to see my so-called lover lean his head back and close his eyes stretching his body along the couch.
"Okay and I'm guessing I have to break out a fancy dress?" I question hoping she says no and to just come in my sweats but sadly I know that would never happen with my mother.
"Well, sweetheart you guessed correctly and tell Colton to break out his suit goodbye love see you in a bit." Quickly saying goodbye I hang up and walk back over to Colton straddling him and place a wet kiss to his lips.
"Oh and who was that making you all happy and loving?" He asks making me smile as I check the time knowing my mom always plans dinner parties around five pm as it is only three right now I know we have to get ready soon as it will take some convincing to get Colton in a suit.
"You love me right?" I question grinding my hips as he breathes heavier and grabs my hips pausing my movement.
"Fuck I feel like I'm going to regret this after but yes I fucking love you so damn much Zara." Smiling at his answer I lean down running my hands up and down his luscious abs.
"Good so since you love me so much you will wear a suit for me?" I question knowing what the answer was going to be but knowing my mother I can't have my man show up in his usual black t-shirt and black jeans.
"You fucking kill me Zara." He groans flipping us over catching me off guard as his mouth smashes onto mine making me moan as he slowly moves his hips against my own.
