[2 months later]
Update: kian and I still have kept our relationship on the down low. Insta story here and there but that's about it. Kian was sitting on the couch on his laptop scrolling through some emails. I cuddle up next to him.*
Y/n: can I talk to you about something?
Kian: should I be scared?
Y/n: I don't think so
Kian: *sets his laptop to the side* okay what's up ?
Y/n: so, my cousins having her wedding this weekend and I was wondering if you'd wanna come?
Kian: back in _____ (your home state)?
Y/n: no it's my cousin that lives in San Francisco, please come, I'll pay for your plane ticket
Kian: alright, I'll go but only under one condition
Y/n: oh no what is it?
Kian: that I pay for both of our plane tickets
Y/n: what kind of condition is that? *i jokingly say*
Kian: it's on me this time.
*few days later*
[6am]
We both have packed up everything for the wedding and we quietly make our way down to the Uber trying not to wake up the rest of the roommates.
Once in the Uber kian gently leaned over and laid his head on my lap. (He wasn't a morning person at all) the drive to LAX was around 45 mins long and kian slept on my lap the whole way through. I gently ran my fingers through his hair as the Uber took us to LAX.

Kian slept pretty much the whole way through. 20 mins left on the plane is when he finally woke up
Y/n: good morning ki *as I message my fingers through his hair*
Kian: we almost there?
Y/n: 20 mins left
Kian: wake me up when we land okay?
Y/n: yup, here you can lay your head on my lap
Kian went ahead and laid his head on my lap as he gently fell asleep. The last 20 mins all I could do is cherish this moment. Looking out the plane window realizing how beautiful earth can be. The clouds hovering over the beautiful mountains. Looking down is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. How'd I get so lucky, I ask myself.
*20 mins later*
Y/n: I gently tap kians shoulder trying to wake him up as we are about to land
Kian: already? That felt really quick
Y/n: we're here in San Francisco, ready to meet my family?
Kian: I'm kind of nervous
*even though kian and I have been dating for awhile now we still haven't met each others parents and family*
Y/n: I'm probably more scared then you are
Kian: what's that supposed to mean
Y/n: it means what if they don't accept you? you know how my parents are, ever since I was young they've always wanted me to marry some rich doctor. Kian I want to spend the rest of my life with you, and how can I do that if my parents aren't by my side with that?
Kian: bby I'm never leaving your side, wether your parents like me or not, okay?
after exiting the plane we catch a Uber and head to my aunts house (which is where everyone was staying)

Kian: you ready?
Y/n: I guess, don't think you have to act any type of way okay? act like yourself and if they don't like it then that shouldn't be our problem
Kian: amen to that okay let's head in. I'll get your bag
