"kitty who are they?" fire asks as two young guys start walking towards our table.
they were both brunettes, but one was a few inches taller than the other, at the least.
"i dunno. do you know them, corbyn?" i shrug, turning to look at my best friend.
he sat in the chair next to me. fire sat across from me, and jack sat next to her.
"i don't know em either." jack says.
the guys come over, looking just as confused as we were.
"fire? kitty?" the shorter one asks.
"how do you know our names?" fire growls.
i don't think she realized that they could be fans.
"fire? are you okay?" the taller one asks.
fire looks to me, worried but mad.
"kitty? it's matt, remember?" 'matt' says.
i tried to remember him, but i couldn't.
"you guys don't remember moose and i?" matt asks.
i shake my head and look at corbyn. he looked just as lost as the rest of us.
"we really don't." fire mutters.
"odd, we all flew out from miami? remember?" moose questions, starting to become frustrated.
suddenly, something clicked in fire and i's mind at the same time.
"what story are we in?" we whisper at the same time, looking at each other with wide eyes.
