I looked at my surrounding it seems like it's already evening. Then I saw a maid calling me, she said to follow her, so I did.
I thought that she was leading me to Grandma Verena and my adopted family, but it turns out that she isn't.

Lily's brother Sedric Axton pov
Where is Lily? When we came to pick her up, it seems that she is missing. We asked the herb gardener for her whereabouts. He told us that a maid came here to pick her up.
We had never send a maid to come here to pick her up.
I have a bad feeling about this........ I saw Sky looking very worried for her, then somewhere we heard a loud screaming sounds.
We went there as soon as we can.
Back to Lily's pov
The maid lead me to a dark place, I could sense by now that I'm in danger, she pulled out a dagger and tried to stab my heart. But unfortunately her plan was not going to be successful.
I saw other people behind her, there were in total 50 people including the maid. I looked at them calmly and I found it so amusing.
I began to plan in my head.
😑How should I kill them?
😐Perhaps I could burn them alive and see their pitiful expression
😀Or should I enveloped them in darkness and trap them within their nightmares, see them suffer slowly.
😄Oh well, I guess I should........

The maid's pov
I'm an assassin. I have a mission to complete and that is to kill Lily Vean.
I was sent here by the neighbouring kingdom, the King personally asked us to kill her. We had to obey his orders since we work directly under him.
So we made a plan to kill her.
I waited for the right timing. I finally got a chance. It seems like Lily Vean our target likes herbs. After some time, the sky darkens, I knew that this was the right opportunity for us to execute our plan. I disguised myself as a maid, and asked her to follow me.
She doesn't seems to be suspicious of me. I felt pity for her, since she is going to die so young. She looks so cute and reminds me of my daughter. I don't really like this job. Yet I have no choice but to do so.
Everyone of us did not want to kill her. We had looked through her history and found out that she was tortured by her parents. We find her so pitiful. We are all highly skilled assassins but we have never killed someone innocent.
We have killed many people but they are all corrupted officials. Unfortunately, she has to die, otherwise our loved ones will be in danger. Please God forgive us.
We finally arrived at the dark corner where my fellow comrades are waiting for me to bring the target. I took out the dagger and tried to stab her. But then I was pushed back by a force.
Her ruby red eyes stared at all of us. Her smile send shivers down our spine. I stared at her with a look of guilt. Then the darkness suddenly surrounded us all. We tried to escape yet we couldn't.
I felt intense heat all around my body. I saw black flames surrounding us. I got scared.
We all screamed loudly. The pain was too much. Both physically and mentally.
It was too agonizing.
It was a living hell!
Back to Lily's pov
I saw that the look in the assassins eyes held a bit of guilt.
I wanted to know why they had it, but I had no intentions on letting them leave here out alive. So I followed my plan, I wondered what will happen if I combined fire and darkness together.
So I decided that I should test it out on them.
They SCREAMED....
I looked at their reactions. I don't know why but I remembered the way they all looked at me with guilt. I wonder why did they looked at me like that.
So I decided to read their minds, I realized that they were all told by the king of the neighbouring kingdom to kill me. They all had no choice but to do so.
I don't know why but somewhere in my heart told me to not kill them and instead help them to live.
I don't know if I am nice or not I decided to release them from their sufferings. I decided to test out my new found powers. Light magic.
I cast it and in an instant all those people who had been suffering from pain felt relieved. All their horrible sight of rotten flesh and blood started to heal and then they all fainted.
I know you guys must have questions like how the hell did I end up with light magic. Well it's because of Ruby the rabbit.

Lily's brother Sedric pov
When we got there, we saw Lily look so emotionless and hollow. We saw her smile yet it was not out of fun or anything like that. But just because of pure loneliness.
We saw the horrible sight of rotten flesh and screaming of people. I felt like this was what hell may look like. They were burning in agony. Black flames surrounded their bodies.
Sky couldn't handle the sight of it and began vomiting. Even I felt like doing it but I was more shocked than disgust by the sight of it.
Lily looked so empty. I wanted to protect her, she seems to not be affected by it.
I was even more shocked now and that is because I realized that the part that said that Lily Vean our new little sister killed all those 1000 assassins was true.
I was even more surprised to see her cast her magic without any chant.
And then suddenly we saw those horrible bodies of the assassins healing up and we were shocked to see the light magic was actually cast by our little sister.
And then all the assassins bodies had no wound, it was like there was never a sight of people screaming and being burnt down in flames. The only prove that this incident happen was their clothing that was ripped off and some blood stains.
What I want to do was hug her.
So both of us(Sky and Sedric) went towards Lily and hug her tightly. We embrace her. And I saw her eyes staring at us with some sort of fear.
We both told her that
"Lily it's okay. We are not afraid of you. Instead we love you, our dear little sister."
Lily's brother Sky pov
We heard the screaming and went towards that direction.
We saw so many people being burn alive, those black flames surrounding them, was somehow malicious.
I felt like it looks like evil, angry spirits came down to kill them.
It was a living hell.
I couldn't handle the sight of it so I began to vomit.
I saw Lily look so isolated. She seems so empty. She looked nothing like the Lily I met in the beginning, I didn't want Lily to look like that.
I want her to smile from the bottom of her heart and be happy.
I vowed to not let this happen and make sure she becomes happy.
And then suddenly Lily casted light magic and heal their wounds. I was surprised and then saw their injured bodies become normal again.
Me and my brother looked at each others eyes and we went towards Lily.
We hugged her tightly.
I think she feels like we will ignore her or be afraid of her since she had fear in her eyes.
We both came to her and hugged her tightly in our embrace. And told her
"Lily it's okay. We are not afraid of you. Instead we love you, our dear little sister."
She looked at us with a shock expression, she looks so cute. She finally doesn't look lonely.
And then with a surprise she smiles which was on a whole new level from before, OMG CUTENESS OVERLOAD!
I feel like now she truly opened her heart to us.
And then our parents and lady Verena arrived.
