"thank you again, billie, for coming to this interview!" evelyn says as she smiles. "it's no problem, hey do you guys have any candy by any chance?" billie asks.
"yeah, it should be right in the lobby when you walk out." evelyn says. "okay, thank you!" billie says as we all walk out of the room.
"thank you for behaving paisley!" billie says while currently carrying me on her back. "you're welcome, mommy!" i say and smile.
we reach the lobby and i see a big bowl of candy. i gasp. "get two, paisley." billie says, picking up the bowl and holding it near me.
i pick out a small fun size bag of skittles and a lollipop. billie puts the bowl back and we walk out of the building and to the car.
finneas gets in the driver's seat while billie puts me into my car seat. she gets in the backseat next to me and finneas starts the car.
"where are we going?" i ask as i look out of the window. "home." billie says as she types something on her phone. "okay." i say as i play with my seatbelt.

we arrived home about twenty minutes ago, and billie was currently trying to put my bathing suit on.
she finally gets it on after me running around the house for ten minutes. billie also has her bathing suit on, under a huge shirt and some shorts.
finneas then walks out in a shirt and swimming trunks. "are we going to the pool?" i ask, excitedly. "maybe." billie says and smiles. "YAY!" i say and scream.
billie picks me up and we all walk out of the house. billie decides to drive this time, since she knows where the pool is.

we arrive at the pool. billie gets me out of my car seat and closes the door. she holds my hand as we walk in. "look who's here, paisley!" billie says and smiles.
i gasp when i see who's at the pool. it's olivia and her family! billie puts me down while she and finneas take off their cover ups.
olivia runs from the other side of the pool to me. we hug each other. "come meet my daddy!" olivia says as she grabs my hand.
we walk over to where her dad is sitting. "well, hello! you must be paisley!" olivia's dad says. "yup!" i say and smile.
"is gracie here?" i ask. "yeah, she's in the deep end." olivia says. "okay." i say as i let go of olivia's hand. i run to the deep end. "mommy, can i go in the deep end?" i call from the other side of the pool.
"hang on." billie says as she walks over to me. "you can now." billie says and smiles. i jump into the deep end and start swimming towards gracie.
"hi, gracie!" i say and smile. she looks over at me in her pink inner tube, or floaty. "hey, paisley." gracie says as she spins around in the water.
"wait." gracie says. i tilt my head. "how are you swimming in the deep end?" she asks. "billie taught me." i say proudly. "of course she did." gracie mutters under her breath.
"bye!" i say as i swim underwater towards finneas. i come back to the surface to see finneas in shock. "you really can swim in the deep end!" he says, shocked. i smile.
i swim to the shallow part of the pool. "hi, olivia!" i say and sit down. "do you know how to swim?" i ask. "kinda." she says and smiles. "can you swim in the deep end?" i ask.
"no." olivia says sadly. "my mommy can teach you!" i say and smile. "really?" olivia says, excited. "yeah!" i say back.
"mommy!" i call. billie swims over to us. "yeah?" she responds. "can you teach olivia to swim in the deep end?" i ask.
"well, i didn't exactly teach you how to swim in the deep end, you just did it." billie says, looking at me. "please?" we both say with puppy eyes. "how could i say no to that face?" billie says as she smiles.
billie picks up olivia and goes to another part in the pool. i swim over to them. "do you know how to hold your breath?" billie asks. olivia nods. "what about actually swimming underwater?" billie asks. "no." olivia says.
"well, it's pretty easy." billie says and smiles. "just hold your breath, and i will lower you underwater, okay?" billie says to olivia. "okay." olivia says. "when i lower you, start kicking and moving your arms." billie says.
olivia holds her breath and billie lowers her underwater. olivia starts kicking and moving her arms. billie let's go of olivia and olivia starts swimming.
"are you trying to drown my sister?" gracie says, swimming over. "no, i'm teaching her how to swim in the deep end." billie says, annoyed.
"oh, i'll just watch then." gracie says as she sits on the edge of the pool. billie slightly rolls her eyes and gets olivia from under the water.
"good job, olivia!" billie says and smiles. "yay, olivia!" i say and clap. "now, if you do that in the deep end, you're good." billie says. olivia nods.
olivia swims over to me and holds my hand. "my daddy says that there's free popsicles outside." olivia says. "ooh, let's go!" i say as we get out of the pool.
"gracie, come with us!" i say to gracie. "where are you going?" she asks. "to get popsicles." olivia says. "say no more." gracie says as she walks over to us.
we walk outside and see the man selling popsicles. "hello!" i say as i wave. "hello, little one!" he says and smiles. "what flavor popsicles do you girls want?" the man asks.
we look at gracie. "what?" she asks. "we can't read." i say and shrug. "oh, yeah." gracie says and laughs. "there is cherry, blueberry, banana, green apple, and strawberry." gracie reads.
"i want strawberry." i say and smile. "i want blueberry." olivia says. "and i want cherry." gracie says to the man. he gives us our popsicles.
"can i have another strawberry for my mommy?" i ask the man. "sure!" he says as he hands me another popsicle. "thank you!" i say as gracie grabs both of our hands and walks us back inside.
i let go of gracie's hand and walk over to billie. "here you go, mommy!" i say as i hand her a popsicle. "thank you, baby." she says and hugs me. "where'd you get this from?" she asks, opening the both of ours.
"outside." i say and smile. "did you go by yourself?" billie asks. "no, i went with olivia and gracie." i say as i eat my popsicle.
"oh, okay." billie says as she goes back to scrolling on her phone. i walk over to where olivia is sitting. i sit down next to her and we eat our popsicles.
"this is so good." olivia says. "i know right?" i say as i finish my popsicle. olivia finishes hers and we walk back over to the pool.
we get in the shallow end and start playing around. "my birthday is next week." olivia says and smiles. "you're older than me!" i say and frown.
"that means i can tell you what to do." olivia says and smiles. "jump!" she says and laughs. i start jumping in the water. "hey, you're splashing me!" she says and laughs.
olivia splashes me back and i start laughing. we go back and forth splashing each other before we just sit on the edge of the pool.
"paisley, where's your daddy?" olivia asks. "i don't have one, yet." i say and look at olivia. "what do you mean? i thought everyone had a daddy?" olivia asks, confused. i shrug.
"come on paisley, we have to go home." finneas says while putting on his shirt. "i don't want to go home, i wanna stay with olivia." i say and frown. "you can stay with her next week." he says and smiles.
"okay." i say and pout. "bye, olivia." i say as i hug her. "bye, paisley." olivia says sadly as she hugs me back.
finneas wraps a small towel around me and picks me up. i wave bye to olivia. finneas walks out of the pool to the car, where billie is waiting.
"there's my baby!" billie says as she gets me from finneas' arms. "do you want to sit in my lap?" she asks. i nod. billie gets in the passenger seat and sits me on her lap. she puts the seatbelt over both of us as finneas gets in.
billie plays with my hair on the ride home. "i love you." she says as she holds both of my hands. "i love you too, mommy." i say and smile.
