I sat in my hotel waiting for my daily call from my family. Kol was out getting food for me and some blood bags for him.
I had informed him that he will not drink from the vein in front of me. He whines about it but agrees.
Finally the phone rang and I jumped to get it. I smiled excitedly.
"Hey!" I squealed.
"Hey, Kiera!" I hear my friends say.
"Okay, fill me in." I said.
"Ric's ring has gone bad and now he's killing the founder family descendants. Finn is dead and everyone he turned is also dying." Elena says quickly.
I sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose.
"I've been gone for what? 2? 3 weeks?" I ask. They laugh.
"We're glad you're far away from this, Kik. Go, see the world with your original best friend." I heard Caroline say.
I sniffled and chuckle.
"I really wish I could help you guys." I said. Just then, Kol walks in.
"Actually. You can." Bonnie says.
"Can you tell us who Kol turned? All of them." Elena asks.
Kol turns to me and walks over to take the phone.
"I didn't have a chance to turn anyone, or you know, live, because my brother stabbed me in the heart." He said.
"I turned a couple but they were all killed by Klaus, or I killed them." He said. He hands the phone back to me and starts drinking from the bag.
"Did that help?" I asked into the phone.
"Sort of." Bonnie replied.

I felt the bed move in the middle of the night. I opened my eyes lightly to see Kol getting dressed.
He always did this. He'd sneak off and than wouldn't come back till the early morning hours.
This time, I planned on figuring out what was going on.
So when he left and got out of hearing distance I followed him, to a house.
When I pulled up I saw the familiar looking black car.
"No..." I breathed out. I rushed inside and saw Kol beating Damon with a bat.
"Kol!" I screamed. He turned and his face visibly paled.
"Kiera.." He whispered. He looked at me and I saw a stake go through his chest and I gasp.
Kol looks down at the stake than to me again before falling to the ground.
Elena looks at me and than helps Damon up.
"I'm sorry he-"
"Was being an asshole. It's okay." I chuckled nervously.
Damon smirks And pulls me in a hug. When we pull away Elena looks at me with crossed arms.
"What?" I question laughing.
"Did you get a boob job in Paris?" She asked. I threw my head back in laughter.
"No I'm serious." She said. She grabbed my boobs lightly and I hissed.
"Watch it, they're tender." I laugh. She rolls her eyes and hugs me.
"I'm gonna come back for a little while, you both obviously need me, now let's go before he wakes up." I mutter.

I was walking with Caroline and Elena, helping them set up for the dance tonight.
"So Alaric is trying to pull himself together, why's is that a bad thing?" Caroline asked.
"I just, wish there was something I could do." Elena said.
I grab a plastic chandelier.
"Where do you want me to hang this thing?" I asked.
She gestures for me to give it to her.
"If Rebekah wanted to hang this monstrosity, she should have shown up to do it herself." Caroline said.
I chuckled along with Elena.
She turned to Matt and Jeremy and gasped.
"You can't just...hang them. They're supposed to trickle down." She turned to us with a smile.
"Look at them all bromancey."
"Yeah, I asked Matt to help Jeremy readjust." Elena said.
"He got him his old job back at the grill." I finished.
"Well That was nice of him..."
"Yeah. Jeremy's got a lot in his mind. The whole thing with Alaric has got him all stressed out." Elena said.
I grabbed more Stars, going over to Jeremy to hang them.
"Hey Matt." I shouted up. He looked down at me with a hum.
"Can I talk to Jeremy, please." He said. Matt gave Jeremy a knowing look and chuckled climbing down.
I climbed up with the Stars and looked at him.
I sighed when he smiled.
"Missed you." I said. He chuckled and looked down to the ring on the chain around my neck.
"You still wear it?" He asks. I scoff playfully and take it off.
"Of course I do. I needed to keep it safe for you." I smiled. I chuckled and place the ring on his finger.
"How have you been?" He asked. I only shrugged.
"Sick. Trying to fight vampires. You know, cheating death." He rolls his eyes playfully and I finish hanging up with Stars with him.
"Hey, uh, do you um, have a date to the, er." He says nervously.
"No? Why. Is Jeremy Gilbert asking me?" He nods seriously. I chuckle and nod.
"Okay, fine. I planned on getting ready at your house anyways." I climb down beside he can respond.
