"Make sure you defrost the chicken and cut some veggies, okay?"
"Yes, mom."
"We'll be back in an hour or so. The train station isn't far from here."
"We'll be back in a jiffy." Your father kisses your forehead and your parents walk out the front door.
You don't waste time and take out the chicken before cutting up some vegetables. After doing what your mother told you to do, you hop into the shower. As you get dressed the doorbell rings and you quickly answer. You pull your shirt down and open the door.
"Hey," Jina says and you say nothing back. "Aish, Y/N, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have assumed stuff and I shouldn't have let you walk home."
"Yeah, you shouldn't have."
"I was just so confused. Like why would Jungkook beat up Baro?"
"Baro tried to do things to me that I didn't want. I guess he saw that." You shrug.
"Baro tried what?!" Jina storms into your house. "That little... I'm sorry for not letting you explain."
"It's okay. I understand how confused you were because I was too. I still am. It doesn't make sense why Jungkook would do that for me when he doesn't even know me."
"Maybe he likes you," Jina suggests and nudges your shoulder.
"Highly doubt it." You roll your eyes playfully. "He doesn't know me."
"Perhaps he finds you cute and wants to have you." Jina ponders for a moment. "Of course you could never date him though. Your parents would rather be blind than see you with a greaser."
"Don't get too ahead of yourself, Jina. I never said I'd let him have me."
"I can't lie though," Jina pursed her lips as she thought. "He's a real dreamboat."
"Yeah. A dreamboat my parents would pray crashes before he gets anywhere close to me."
"You need to stop letting your parents rule your life." Jina rolls her eyes. "I get you love them and you want to make them happy but it's still your life."
"I owe everything to them. They do so much for me."
A honk catches your attention and you look out the window.
"That's for me." Jina walks to the front door and opens it. "I'll see you later, alright?"
You nod and she kisses your cheek.
"Love you!"
She walks down the stairs and to Chul's car. The convertible takes off and you laugh at her silliness.
"At least one of us has a good one." You mutter before closing the door.
An hour goes by and you wonder why your parents haven't arrived. You finally hear a knock on the door and run to it.
"Welcome... home." You say the last part unenthusiastically once you see Jungkook standing in front of you.
"Home? Already? All I did was drive you to your house." Jungkook teases.
"What are you doing here?" You question, a hint of attitude in your tone.
"Relax, baby doll. I came to give you this." He pulls a charm bracelet out of his leather jacket pocket and hands it to you. "I found it in my car last night."
"How do you know it's mine and not one of your floozies?"
"It's yours ain't it?"
You roll your eyes and snatch the bracelet from his grip.
"Exactly."
You see a familiar blue car pull up to the driveway and immediately know it's your parents. You pull Jungkook into the house and close the door behind you.
"Fuck!"
"Fuck?" Jungkook raises an eyebrow. "Such words come out of that pretty mouth of yours?"
"I don't think they saw him." You talk to yourself out loud. "Or maybe they did. Oh god, what if they did!"
"What are you talking about?"
You hear a car door close and you pull Jungkook up the stairs and into your room.
"I'd be lying if I said I didn't want you, but right now?" Jungkook continues to tease.
"Just stay in here." You begin to close the door but open it again. "And be quiet!"
You run down the stairs after taking Jungkook into your room. The front door opens and you put on your best facade.
"Jae! You're home!" You pull your brother into the biggest hug.
"Hey, little sis!"
"Hey Y/N." Inah, your brother's wife, grins and you pull her into a hug.
"Did you do what I asked?" Your mother questions.
"Yes."
"Who's car is that outside?" Your father asks.
"The neighbors maybe?" You lie.
A small thud was heard upstairs but no one seemed to notice.
"I'll be right back."
You quickly walk up the stairs and into your room, locking the door behind you. You find Jungkook picking up your nightstand lamp.
"Locking the door now I see."
"I told you to be quiet!" You whispered loudly.
"I'm sorry. I got bored and started to snoop around." He says and you roll your eyes. "You got cute panties and bras."
"Wait what?!"
"Kidding!" He raises his hands up in defense. "I didn't snoop that much."
"As if I believe you."
You walk over to your window and open the blinds to look out.
"Do you think you could make the jump?"
"What? Are you crazy?"
"It's not that high up."
"It's way too high up," Jungkook argues.
He was right. If he tried to get out from the window he could possibly get hurt.
"So then what?"
"I guess I'm sleeping over." Jungkook's bunny smile makes an appearance.
"Yeah right." You scoff. "I guess you'll just have to stay here until everyone's asleep."
"Asleep?! It's barely 8 pm."
"My parents go to sleep at around 9 so don't worry about that." You groan. "Ugh Jungkook! Why did you have to come?!"
"Maybe because I thought it would be nice of me to return your bracelet?" Jungkook sarcastically suggest. "Which, by the way, you haven't said thank you for. Seriously, did your parents not teach you how to say thank you? It's not that hard."
"Thank you, Jungkook, for coming to my house which resulted with you being stuck in my room." You fake apologize.
"You could just introduce me to your family and then I'll leave out the front door."
"Hell no." You rebuke.
"Y/N?" Inah's voice is heard behind the closed door. "Food's ready."
You see Jungkook open his mouth to speak and you quickly cover it with the palm of your hand.
"I'll be there in a bit. I just had to check something."
Jungkook narrows his eyes and you could feel him smirk against your palm.
"Well hurry. I think your parents are about to head to bed soon."
"Okay."
You hear her footsteps fade away and you remove your hand from Jungkook's mouth.
"Don't make any noise, okay?" You tell Jungkook but he doesn't respond. "Seriously Jeon. Please?"
Jungkook smiles. "That word was all I needed to hear."
You leave your room and head to be with your family. Thankfully the hour went by fast and your parents headed to sleep. As for your brother and Inah, they headed to his old room.
You open your bedroom door to find Jungkook fast asleep. He's turned on his side and his head lays on his folded arm. You walk around the bed and crouch down in front of him.
Jina is definitely correct. He is a real dreamboat.
"Wake up." You whisper as you gently shake him. "Jungkook, wake up."
Jungkook's brown bambi eyes slowly open and he stares at you. His eyes sparkle, almost as if a galaxy exists behind them.
(A/N: lets use our imaginations and
pretend that's a bed 🙃)
You clear your throat to interrupt the strange moment you both shared.
"Everyone's in their rooms. You should go too."
He slowly nods, but doesn't move.
"Like... now."
"Right." Jungkook stands up.
You and him quietly walk down the stairs. You open the front door and he walks out.
"This was fun." He chuckles, sarcasm evident in his tone. "Goodnight."
You give him a small smile and he turns to leave, but you grab his wrist.
"Uh, thank you."
A satisfied smirk appears on Jungkook's lips. "No problem, sweetheart."
Jungkook winks at you before turning to run towards his car. He jumps in and starts it immediately before driving off.
"Y/N? What are you doing?" Your brother startles you.
"Nothing." You close the door. "I thought I heard someone knocking."
You smile as you walk past him on the stairs.
"Goodnight."
"Night sis."
You walk into your room after doing your night routine and lay on your bed.
He. Smells. So. Good!
