I quietly hummed Never Know, by Why Don't We of course, while I cooked breakfast.
I had just got done with the eggs when I heard soft footsteps behind me.
“Good morning, honey.” I greet.
“Mm, morning.” He mumbles, wrapping his arms around around my waist.
I laugh as he rests his forehead on the back of my neck, reaching a hand up to press my bun like it was a button.
“Breakfast smelled so good I had to come see what you made.” He whispers, pressing a quick kisses to my neck before putting his head on my shoulder.
“Well I'm glad that something motivated you out of bed!” I giggle.
He just hums, kissing my cheek. I turn my head to give him an actual kiss, smiling into it, even though I tried not to.
It wasn't a long kiss, but as soon as we pulled apart, my boyfriend wouldn't turn away, instead giving me little pecks.
“I'm gonna burn the food.” I murmur, reaching a hand up to push his face away from mine playfully.
“Fine, no more kisses for you.” He snorts, letting go of me.
“No! Wait!” I say, abandoning the food breifly to pull him into a hug.
“I knew that would get to you.” He laughs.
