Urie made his way towards you before he wrapped his hand around your waist
"Everyone..." he started as the others looked at the two of you
"I married [Y/N]"

"Y-you did what?!" Shouted Marude as you covered your face with your hands
"Uri-boy" muttered Saiko, still shocked
"Marude-san" spoke up Yomo Renji. "Us, ghouls, have a way to get married. We leave bite marks on our lover's body as a sign of our love and as deep as we can so even when we die, it won't fade away"
"But even so, he's not a ghoul!" Hissed Marude
"If getting married the same way as ghouls do is making my wife happy, then I did it" said Urie, glancing at Marude
"Cut the crap, Urie! Are you out of your damn mind?! You're a human and she's a ghoul!" Marude continued to yell
"Marude-san!" Yelled Saiko, slamming her hands on the table. "Since Maman turned into that thing, a lot of stuff changed! I think Maman started a new era of peace, so if they love each other, let them love each other!"
"But" interfered Shuu. "How did you two fall in love so fast?"
"None of your business, Tsukiyama" you rolled your eyes
"Then, here's a better question" said Touka. "How can you love each other so fast that you two got married?"
"They did stuff when we were fighting with that kagune" mocked Nishiki
"N-Nishiki!" You shouted, your face burning in embarrassment
"Don't tell me you..." said Touka when she got the message. "...You're pregnant?"
You just shook your head up and down as the others gasped in shock
"I think I need some fresh air" said Marude, going outside
"Looks like our men don't know what protection is" Touka softly chuckled as you did the same
"I'm right here" said Urie in his usual monotone as you started to laugh

Time skip
3rd ward
"Qs squad reporting..." said Urie with a shaky voice through his earpiece. "We've found... the main body..."
You were all standing in something that looked like a hole when Touka found Kaneki's body that looked so sick
"They've done it!!" Yelled Marude in response. "What's his status?!"
"Doesn't appear to be moving" Urie replied
"Retract the body and bring him for further analysis" ordered Marude
Hope rose up in everyone's hearts at the news as you, Touka and the Qs squad, alongside a green haired male or woman, you weren't so sure, but he had the scent of a woman, that tried to kill your husband and Saiko
Urie, after fighting with the kagune that tried to pull Kaneki back, he wrapped him in a grey blanket and brought him back to the CCG

"How is Maman feeling?" Asked Saiko as Urie was leaning on a wall
"He's stable, but not waking up" replied Urie as he crossed his arms to his chest
"I'm going to see him" she said, taking her leave as you were coming from Sasaki's room. "Mama wife, how are you feeling?" She asked, giving you a hug when she saw you
"A little better" you replied, flashing a small smile. "You're going to see Kaneki?"
She just hummed in response as she left, leaving you alone with Urie
"You okay?" He asked as you were leaning on the wall next to him
"That hand full of small eyes is still popping up in my mind" you said, clearly disgusted as you remembered the hand that Touka pulled out of the kagune. "That shit even blinked!"
"I'm not even going to ask" he uttered when a certain green haired male came in your direction. "Mutsuki?" Asked Urie, looking at the eyepatched investigator. "Aren't you going to see Haise?"
"...Can I talk with her for a little?" Mutsuki said hesitantly, motioning to you
You exchanged glances with Urie for a little before you agreed and went out for a walk
"What did you do to Urie-kun?" Mutsuki asked out of the blue
"What do you mean...?"
"He can't fall in love with a ghoul! He's a human!"
"We're an alive evidence" you sassed, shoving your hands inside your pockets. "Everyone is working with each other, why are you trying to make Kuki change his mind?"
"Because when everything will end, your 'love' will end as well. I'm just trying to wake him up to reality, he isn't in love with a ghoul--"
"Listen up" you said in a lower voice, showing him your bite mark. "We're already married and on top of that... we have a kid on their way. A new era of peace between ghouls and humans is starting, so I won't have you blabber me shit like this"
And with that being said, you left the poor boy speechless, going back to Urie when you heard that Kaneki woke up

And the real chaos began...
Kaneki wanted to go out to see the city with Urie and Saiko when they got attacked by 'bastard children' that turned humans into ghouls... these monsters were given birth by that kagune mess
An hour later after they came back, Saiko was diagnosticated with ROS, a over-secretion of the RC cells
The poor girl's eyes were already covered with a red muscle...
"You okay?" You asked Urie as he looked at poor Saiko
"How could I let this happen..." he muttered. "If I'm not able to protect my teammates, how am I going to protect... you?"
"Oh, Kuki... you don't have to be so hard on yourself... please..."
He just sighed defeated before from his earpiece, Marude's voice could be heard
You were attacked by ghouls...
To be more exact... by the Clowns...
In less than five minutes, the ghouls and the CCG was already outside, getting ready to exterminate the Clowns
Even if he told you over a hundred times to stay inside, being stubborn as ever, you ran outside, blending in the crowd to help the others fight
When you noticed two familiar figures on top of a building
"Uta... Itori..." you muttered, looking at them
"Looks like she found us" giggled Itori, motioning down to you
"Let's go" said Uta, already running on another building
"Not on my watch, bitch" you said
Eventually, you caught up with them on another building as you heavily panted
It's been a little while since you've ran like that... after weakening yourself for your child, it was a struggle to run after them like that
But the thought that you'll need to use your kagune creeped you out even more...
"[Y/N]..." Whispered Uta, taking off his mask. "I didn't have to come to you... you came back to us, didn't you? You realized that you love me, don't you? That's right, [Y/N]... you only love me... you're only mine--"
"Shut the hell up" you said in a lower voice, activating your kakugan. "What the fuck are you doing here?"
"We're just fooling around" said Itori as she started to laugh
"Tch. I see you're as crazy as ever" You clicked your tongue in annoyance
Before you knew it, Uta's kagune was aimed at you at full speed, but fortunately, your kagune popped out at the right time, protecting you
"Just look at how weak you've become, [Y/N]" said Uta, retracting his kagune. "Your attacks were more powerful before, but now?"
Again, he tried to pierce you with his kagune, but this time in your abdomen when your ukaku kagune started to shot countless crystal shards at them as with your bikaku you protected yourself
"Nee, nee, Uta" cooed Itori. "Am I the only one that noticed that [Y/N]-chan awfully smells like a human?"
"They're human...?" You asked yourself, feeling happy all of a sudden
"Maybe it's because of the little human pest that's growing inside her!"
You literally cringed at her choice of words as you placed a hand on your abdomen
"[Y/N]...? Is that true...?" Whispered Uta as he stared at you
"Tch. We're done, Uta! It's none of your concern if I'm pregnant or not!" You yelled as you could see rage took control over him
In a blink of an eye, his kagune was about to pierce your whole body when a lightning bolt literally exploded in front of you
"Yomo-san?!" You shouted shocked
"[Y/N]-san" he said calmly. "Run"
"I'm not going anywhere!" You retorted
"I'll deal with them so go!" He yelled. "At least think about that innocent, unborn soul"
You gasped a little before doing as told as you could hear Uta was yelling, enraged as hell
"[Y/N]!! Come back here, you little bitch!" Yelled Uta when another lightning bolt hit him and made him land flat on his back
And they continued to fight...
About to kill each other...
Until Yomo injured Uta in such a way that he wasn't able to fight anymore...
"I guess... this is where it ends, huh?" Muttered Uta as he was laying flat on his back on the ground
"Uta..." called Yomo. "They say that if you love someone, let them go. If they really love you, they'll come back... I never understood you... Why didn't you let [Y/N] go?"
"It would be stupid if I said that I loved her..." he sighed. "The world around me continues to change, while I'm still the same..."
"She's a married woman now" said Yomo as Uta just gasped. "She found the one she really loves... if you really love her, why don't you let her be happy?"

"Both mama wives" called Saiko both you and Touka as you were in her hospital room. "Let's wait for them to come back together..."
"Go inside already!" Urie's words from earlier still echoed in your mind
Flashback
"What are you doing out here?!"
"I'll wait for you to return!" You yelled back. "Promise me you'll come back!"
"(I need to live... I need to live for her... for them...!) I will! I promise to come back, [Y/N]!"
End of flashback
"You better come back... Kuki..." you thought as you were looking at the ceiling, placing a hand on your abdomen

Time skip
Hours later, you woke up because of the loud cheers from outside, making you jolt in your sleep
Taking on your black coat, you ran outside as fast as you could and you saw ghouls and investigators, claiming victory
"Kuki!" You called out his name when you saw him as he turned his head to look at you
You ran to him and jumped into his arms, about to tackle him down as you started to cry of happiness
He wrapped his hands around your waist and let his head fall on your shoulder before he told you:
"I told you that I'll come back"
