as we start to walk towards the entrance of queen mary, kian just randomly stops
"i can't" he says in a funny voice
i giggle as jc rolls his eyes
"dude, if y/n can do it. so can you"
kian crosses his arms over his chest "y/n is use to the freaky shit. especially since she's dating colby"
i smirk, biting my lips as i look up at colby
he winks before laughing, wrapping his arm around my waist as the five of us make our way into the place that we will be stuck in until morning
after we check in and get our key card, we make out way to our room for the night
as everyone looks around, jumping and getting freaked out about the smallest things, i walk into the bigger bedroom, flopping onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling in attempt to subtract myself from that mess
a few minutes later, someone lays next to me, draping their arm over my waist
i turn on my side, smiling at colby
he gives me a bright smile back "what are you doing in here?"
i playfully roll my eyes, whispering "they're freaking out about the room for no reason"
he nods, chuckling
it's quiet between us but we can still hear the others talking in the other room
"this is going to sound lame, but can you stay with me the whole night?"
"of course baby" i say, lightly pushing some tinted blue hair out of his eyes "are you getting flashbacks?"
he nods, burying his head in my neck
i rub his back and play with his hair as he grips onto me tightly
"i won't leave your side, baby. i promise"
he pulls away, placing his lips on mine
i kiss back, sweetly, melting into him
"eww they're kissing" kian screams
i giggle, pulling away from colby, as jc and sam also walk in
"let's film a short about thing in here" sam says, setting up the camera
colby and i sit up as kian and jc join us on the bed

we are walking around the ship, filming random things when suddenly sam suggests that we go to b340
i instantly feel colby's hands on my waist, as he stands behind me, tensely
"no" he says
"come on man. it's not like we're going in. we're just standing outside of it" sam urges
colby shakes his head as kian and jc shrug
"alright, we'll just stop by" sam says, before walking in the opposite direction
kian and jc follow
i turn around in colby's arms, looking up at his nervous face
"we'll stay for a minute, outside of the room. then we can head back to our room" i say
"how? sam has the key"
i smirk, reaching into my back pocket, holding up the key card, laughing as his eyes widen
"not anymore" i say
he smiles widely as i reach up to kiss his lips before taking his hand, both of us walking to catch up with the others
when all of us reach the room, colby and i stand against the wall, opposite the door
"there's a key card in it" sam says, pointing "maybe we can get in"
"or maybe someone's in there now" jc says, all of us nodding
"colby, how about we try talking to it again and see if we get an answer" sam suggests
colby stiffens, shaking his head
"come on. just try" sam urges
"he said no sam" i say, catching everyone's attention "he already didn't want to come over here, let alone try and talk to the demon that you guys encountered last time. are you crazy?"
sam shrugs "i'll do it myself then"
i shake my head, walking over to kian and jc
"we're going back to the room if you want to join" i say
"yes please" jc says
kian nods with big eyes
"sam, we're going back to the room" i say
"whatever" he says, dismissing us
we walk to the room, sighing a breath of relief as we shut the door
"thank you" colby says, pulling me into a hug
i smile "anything for you"
"has sam lot his marbles or something?" jc asks, as colby and i walk into the bedroom where they are laying on the bed
we sit next to them
"i honestly don't know what's wrong with him" i say
"yeah, i thought he was as shaken up about it as i was, but i guess not" colby says "like i still have nightmares about this place. that's why y/n's here. otherwise, i'd be a complete mess right now"
they nod, knowingly
a little while later, there's a knock on the door
i get up, letting sam in as he excitedly walks into the room
"guys, i made contact with the spirit again" he says
no one says anything
"that's why i brought this" he says, fishing in his bag
he turns around with a ouija board in his hands, making us all jump back
"you said we'd never play one of those again on our channel" colby says
i nod in agreement
"yeah man, i don't fuck with those" jc says
"me either" kian adds
sam sighs, putting it away
"why the hell would you even bring that?" colby asks, pissed "you promised that we'd never play that again"
sam shrugs "i thought you might change your mind"
colby's eyes widen as he stands up, walking towards sam "are you insane? did the last time mean nothing to you when we encountered the demon? cause it meant something to the rest of us"
sam just shrugs again "we don't have to do the ouija board"
"yeah, cause we aren't doing it. period"
"we can do a seance instead" he says, smiling
colby shakes his head, clenching and unclenching his fists that remain at his sides
i walk over, standing in front of colby before he can throw a punch
i place my hands on his face, grabbing his attention
"let's go baby"
he nods, gathering his stuff
i turn to the boys on the bed, smiling weakly "kian, jc, do you want us to drive you home?"
they both nod, gathering their stuff as well
i didn't have anything other than my phone, so i had nothing to gather
i look over at sam who's setting up what looks to be a seance with the camera set up and filming him
we all scramble out of there, getting in colby's car as he zooms out of the parking lot
"i'm sorry that our night ended shitty" colby apologizes
"it's not your fault man" jc says
"yeah, he was acting weird, as if something possessed him or- i don't know" kian says
we shrug
"do you guys want to come to my apartment and order some postmates or something?" i ask
"i'd love to" kian says
"me too" jc adds
"do you want us to swing by and pick chelsey up?" i ask, glancing back at jc
i see a smile form on his face "yeah, that'd be nice"
i giggle, looking at colby "to the knj house and then to my apartment please"
he laughs "yes ma'am"
we all laugh before jamming out to some tunes
i guess tonight didn't end that badly
