Chapter 1:In The Castle
Six years has past from my 1st mission now I am 16. I'm not normal from other teenagers because I am a trained spy but quit the route to spyhood. Instead joined the secret agency that my uncle handle's and as an assassin, a well-known assassin that is. When I first came here people looked at me with disgust, hatred, anger, or eyes that say's she can be useful but their are people that look at me like a goddess. And now they treat me as their superior most understand why I'm in their agency and some just think I got in because of my uncle's position. But hey they talk behind my back yes...but say's good comments too.
I've improve a lot since my first mission and my powers have grown stronger.
I have my tiny squad compose of my 2 ex-friends and James.When I was 12 those three were below me for like 2 years and my uncle told me I needed a squad in my missions and he picked them! My ex-friends said they were also victims like James but I really didn't care because for some reason when I found out I was immortal my point of view stopped...completely. It felt like I was left behind by everyone that's one of the reasons why I just let them be.
When we were 12 we were introduced to identity class their we took up fake identities, how to change looks fast and stuff. By the way the real names of my ex-friends are Christine who's fake identity is Juliane Nightingale and Sky who's fake name is Cloud Hafix. Me and James stayed with our old fake names Karen Mischief and Eric Killer. We usually stick with one fake name so whatever.
For the whole eight years of being immortal I have treated this immortality as a curse but I only thought for other people's happiness they don't have to live with hands stained with blood or live in fear because of criminals. This is the curse I happily accepted a long time ago.
"Why am I thinking about my past?"I murmured
"What did you say honey" A man asked me which is the guy that is about to die.
"Nothing "I tried to say seductively while walking to him and kissing his cheek.
His face was focus on my neck which his hand was holding. I then took this tiny bottle out of this hidden pocket I had and drank the liquid making sure I kept the liquid in my mouth. I then kissed the man in the lips and gave him the liquid that was in my mouth. He then sat down shaking because of the effects of the poison I gave him.
"Rest In Peace"I said collecting my things and jumping off of the building.
"Where are you???"I heard a voice yell from my comms which I also recognize as James voice
"You found out I did a mission with out you guys? that was fast" I said while grabbing a post while my body swing itself around and I landed on solid ground. I then heard background noises which is Christine's voice and Sky's voice yelling
"Why didn't you tell us you went on a mission!?"
"Sorry! guys but his dead, heard that uncle? dead!"I said
"Yeah...Where coming!"He said
"Hey!!! YOU EAVESDROPPING GORILLA!!!" Christine yelled
"Chris SHUT UP!" I told her through my comms
"I wouldn't be yelling if you didn't go on that mission without us!!!" She yelled again
"Okay I won't do it again!" I said truthfully
"That's the same thing you said last time" I heard James yelling
"Whatever" I told them
"WHATEVER WHATEVER?!?!?!" Christine yelled through her comms
"Calm down" I heard the guys say
"I value my hearing thank you" I told her and I heard the guys chuckle that made me giggle a bit.
"Oh! guys see you in the base! My ride is here!!!" I said happily while turning my comms off
"Uncle!!!"I called out
"Emma...I mean Karen job well done!"He said
"No prob Boss" I said going in the black car
"I have a new mission for you" My uncle said looking at me
"Fill me in in the details" I said taking out a laptop and writing what he said.
"So let me make this clear...Their is this dimension for supernatural people....and you want me to kill the vampire prince...and only an immortal or he or she's friends can come to that dimension..."As I explained deeper uncle just nodded in agreement.
"Okay...but does James and the rest have to come?" I asked him?
"Yes...This is not a SOLO mission, make use of you power and people!" He said scaring me because he never was the type of person who say's 'make use of what you have' or something like that.
"Fine" I huffed
When we arrived in the underground agency about 5 men where pulling me to my uncle's office!
"I don't wanna go!!!!!!!!" I yelled
"Don't be a little girl" Uncle said leading the way for the mean men who were caring me!
"I.DON'T.WANNA.GO!!!." I screamed, but to late I was in his office now.
"I'm dead" I murmured
"OH! YES YOU ARE!!!!!!!!" I heard Christine coming out in front of me. The good thing is that the guys are holding her, her feet barely touching the ground.
"Let me go!!!" She yelled
"Learn to TAME your pet" I told the guys. Christine became more furious and the guys looked at each and smiled at me!
"You wouldn't!" I told them. My eyes as wide as an owl
"Oh,yes we will" They both said in unison. My eyes went even wider if it was possible. And they let go of Christine! She tackled me before I could escape and the guys came close and tickled me!!!
"AHAHAHAHAH!!!!!STOP" I said in between laughs
"No! our revenge!" James told me with a very cocky smile
"U-UNCLE!" I asked for help
"Let her down" He said and they did, they dropped me to the floor I was in the floor to begin with but they just had to lift me had made me 'meet' the floor.
"GRRRRRRR....."I growled at them
"Little princess asked help for dear uncle" James said
This made me piss before I COULD HAVE KILLED HIM!!! Uncle interrupted and he then explained OUR next mission in the end my protests didn't work. The three left and me and my uncle had a little chat.
"Why can't I just do this alone?"I asked my uncle who was siting in his chair
"Because you need them and they need you" He said. I huffed in responded
"Fine" I growled
"Oh...you start tomorrow morning you know how to go to the dimension yea....Uh...uncle...I can see a few of Emily's memories and most is how to use the magic she gave me" I told my uncle what I have been hiding he wasn't shock he just sighed
"I know dear I know" He said. So that's why......................I then walked out the room and went to my dorm.
I stood in front of my door I then turned the knob. What I saw made my eyes wide like an owl once more and my mouth hung open like a goldfish.
"What?Have you seen a ghost?" James asked
"Yeah...and that's you guys" I said sitting down at the floor beside Christine. They just glared at me and stop after a minute or so.
"Okay...let's do our homework before tomorrow" I said
We shared all the information we got from websites we could, we hacked a few...well most of the agencoes.Christine is the smart one, but then we all are. She's the one that gives time for studying the information about our targets. Sky mostly do strategy. Jason does anything, the same with me, but he sticks with this group so....were different at the same time.
After we shared all the information we got. They went to their rooms and sleep. I laid in my bed for what felt like hours darkness has finally engulfed me.
The next day was like a normal day. I took a quick shower and when I remembered what happened last night and about my next mission. I quickly went to my walk in closet pulled out matching under garment and a black shirt, a black leather jacket, a black skirt, black leggings and black strapped heels.The heels was about 3 inches I guess. I then toke out this silver necklace it hang above my stomach and had a inch wide and length ruby.
The necklace was like a locket instead of the necklace turning in half its the jewel it stay's attach with the silver locket thingy. But inside is a tracker so we can track each other. I practically did the improvements. Christine has the same necklace but with a Sapphire gem in it. The guys has a watch...which reminds me.
I toke out a watch in my accessory drawer and a few black and red bangles.I then toke out two holster and tied them on each of my thigh. I then but a gun in each holster. Loaded guns that is...I put a few clips under my shirt which had a holster there too. I then put a couple of swish knife under my jacket and hid it in one of its secret pockets. I then left to go to uncle's office.
When I walked in the secret agency. People just stared at me
'guess they never saw me looking rebellious oh well' I thought to myself while giving myself a smile
I stood in front of uncle's office. It felt like deja vu all over again. I knocked twice and came in, no one was their but uncle.
"Their not yet here?"I asked him.
I closed the door behind me and sat down in the chair in front of uncle's desk. Uncle nodded in response as he answered my question. We waited for a few minutes and the door swung open.
"What took you guys long?" I asked, three people sweating from a 'little' jog stood in front of me and my uncle.
"Sorry we were late we kinda forgot things" Christine said
"You mean a lot..." Me and Sky told Christine in unison. I read their mind so that explains why I knew plus they always forget if their in a hurry or excited. I, on the other hand, tend to forget but remember sooner or later. They don't know I have powers so today I will finally tell them.
"Close the door" I said coldly. They did what I say and closed it. I heard a click sound.
"You locked the door? well that's better"I said to James who obviously locked the door.
"Sit" I told them and they did it
"These people are scared of me" I thought to myself
"Let's review the main things we must NOT do" I said looking at them while my hands play with a pen on the desk or my uncle's pen.
"NEVER THINK TO MUCH AND SPECIALLY IF IT INVOLVES THE MISSION" Sky said-yelled
"DON'T SAY REAL IDENTITY AND THINK ABOUT IT" Christine said standing up and throwing her arms in the air
"Act natural and make sure..." James said
The meeting continued for an hour. When everyone was done reviewing what we learned. I looked at them with a sad expression. They noticed and stared at me in confusion.
'Are they ready?' I asked myself
"Go on...." Uncle said, I sighed from what he said
"So...its time" I mumbled...The three looked st me in confusion.
"I have powers" I told them standing up from where I was sitting. They all were shock before anyone answered. I was about to unlock the lock or door.
"What do you mean?" James voice had a hint of worry but his voice stopped me from unlocking the door.
"It's true I'm not human...I can't die...I can control....elements and...." I stopped there because I heard laughing sounds from them. I looked at them confused.
'They don't believe me..' I thought
I looked at them in pity? and Christine cut my gaze
"AHAHAHA...you think you have powers!" She said I sighed and looked at her then to uncle
"Uncle we will be leaving" I said. They stopped laughing and looked at me in confusion. I waved good bye to uncle and flickered my right hand and the next thing we saw, in front of us...was a castle.....it was so big....I really can't explain it...all i can say it was HUGE!
It was surrounded by a big wall. The castle was like from the olden days. It's really hard to explain because their is no word to describe this castle but beautiful... I guess....
"Okay we have to learn all we can before we strike!" I told the three people who was still in shock in front of me. I walked passed them and they followed me like lost puppies.
"First we need uniforms so it can be easy to move around this HUGE palace!" I told the gang who pretty much was still shock.
"Who are you?"I heard a angelic voice came from the back of the gang. We turned around, the gang gave me clear view of who asked us who we were.
"Are you the new palace maids and guards?"She asked
We all nodded she gave us a angelic smile but who were we kidding no vampire would be that kind right? She led me and Christine to a room full of maid outfits...
"You...uh what's your name?"The girl asked me
"uh..My name? Karen Mischief" I replied
"You are the new maid for your highness prince Ashton, prince of vampires..."She said and I nodded
"You'll find him since he'll probably come to you.....here yourattire" I nodded to her and took the outfit she gave me.
'OH GOSH.....this outfit is sooooooooooo slutty I don't wanna wear it! but I have no choice' I complained in my thoughts
As the girl left to guide the guys to the guards outfit chamber thingy. Christina was done changing to a nice and NOT SLUTTY outfit. I envy her so badly but I can't blow my cover because of this. Christine helped me change and when I was done I looked like a slut!
