With winter break being over now, the group wanted to celebrate my birthday... but thankfully there was too much snow for them to come to my house. But now, returning to school... I wish that I had more time to relax... and away from Erwin. I had enough of him trying to get answers out of me about Hanji. And honestly, I think he's falling for her too. I know they have private conversations...

"Heya, Levi!" Erwin crashed onto me as we waited in our Physics class. "How was your break? Had a nice birthday?"

Pushing him off, I growled. "Leave me alone. It was quite peaceful earlier when you weren't there to bother me. Now please, let me suffer in school alone with you guys disturbing my suffering."

He chuckles, sitting next to me- despite me telling him what I wanted. "Come on, Levi. Stop being depressing for one day-"

"I will stop being depressing whe-"

"Alright, class!" We all turned to the teacher as I saw a familiar face nearby. "Welcome back from break. And I have some announcements to make as we enter this new semester." She then turns to the girl next to her, extending her hand out towards her. "This is our new student, Hanji Zoe. Please make yourself welcomed."

I gasped in surprise when I saw her here. I was... never informed that she would be coming to Rosen High School... and that would mean she lives nearby.

Her hazel eyes shone brightly as they fell upon everyone... but sparked when I saw her eyes meet mine. Her sweet smile appeared on her precious face... "I'm hopeful I can become fit in this semester, despite me entering this school year this late." And everyone gave that awkward laughter.

Ms. Hazelton smiled softly. "Well, I'm sure at least some students will accept you with open arms, Hanji. You can take any empty seat you like."

Hanji nods, walking up towards the back... towards us. Erwin scooted over to the empty seat, leaving an empty seat between the both of us. I felt a scowl grow on my face as I saw what he was doing. At first, he wanted to get up in all my business about Hanji... and now we're practically fighting for her? The hell, Erwin?

She silently takes her seat between us two, looking at the both of us. "Levi... Erwin... I-I didn't know you guys were here..."

I chuckled a bit, "Same. I didn't know you were moving here..."

Erwin tapped her shoulder, smirking softly. "Hanji, pleasure to meet you again. And I was wondering... wanna hang out after school today?"

"I-I don't know..." She says, looking down. "I mean, I did move here about a week ago... and I'm still getting used to my surroundings..."

"I could help you get used to here. I could show you around, just talk normally... just kinda like that." My cheeks turned a bit warm as I just sprouted suggestions. "Only when you're available, of course. If you need help unpacking... I-I could help."

Hanji chuckles softly, smiling. "I would actually appreciate that, Levi... thanks. Um, and yeah, you can help me unpack some things... my mom and I... we can't really unpack like furniture... I'll text you my address during lunch."

Erwin's eyes widen as he heard Hanji's response. He jumped up, turning red. "Hanji, I can also help out. I mean, I'm sure tiny Levi won't do that much of a heavy lifting. I can help too."

She laughs softly, pushing back into her seat. "Well... one boy to my house is more of understanding. Two boys to my house? Eh... my mom is gonna suspect something. But, I'll see if she's okay with it."

We both nodded to Hanji's answer and went back to class. But Erwin trying to get on with Hanji right away... I'll admit that it makes me jealous... considering I met her first and I talked to her a lot longer than any of those guys. Oh, if I could, I would beat him good to teach a rat like him a good, long lesson about trying to get with the people I have an interest in.

"Thank you, Levi, Erwin." Mrs. Zoe says as we finished moving some furniture and unpacking a few things. She didn't have to, but she gave us $50 for our hard work. And over and over, I told her that I didn't need it... but I gave in into her pleading for me to take it. "I'm glad my daughter knows some people that are as strong as you two."

Hanji pops up from the kitchen with a blush on her face. "M-Mom! T-They're people I know... okay?"

"Still, Hanji... it's nice. I think we would've spent over $500 for movers to help us."

"And once more, Mrs. Zoe... you didn't have to give us $50 for the work. I'm just-"

She shushes me and smiles gently. "You guys deserve the money. Hanji, be back by midnight."

"Yes Mom." Hanji says as she grabbed a small bag and walked towards the door. "Come on, guys... let's go." And instantly, we followed her out the door to Erwin's car.

When Erwin began to drive, he forced me to sit in the back seat while Hanji sat in the passenger seat. Heck, I even called shotgun, but I thought about Hanji sitting alone in the back... and Erwin was the only other person that could drive. Being a gentleman, I let Hanji be in the passenger seat...

"Oi... where are we going?" I asked, finally coming to my senses. I realized we weren't going to my house. "Erwin, where are we going?" I repeated, getting a bit worried that he forgotten about me in the back.

He chuckles, "My house."

"Why? Forget something there? Your eyebrow brush?"

And I heard Hanji snicker, bringing a smile to her face. "Eyebrow brush, Levi? W-Where do you even get that from?"

Shrugging, I smiled, leaning into the backseat. "Oh, well... Erwin just have huge, abnormal eyebrows. And he makes fun of my clean~freak habits, as well as my height. It's just a... I guess an inside-joke between us."

"Aw... cute. When are you guys gonna be boyfriends?" Hanji chuckles softly, making me blush. "A lot of teasing between you two... seems like you guys are a cute couple..."

"Shut it, Shitty Glasses." As soon as it left my mouth, I regretted it. I knew people were sensitive to insults like that... and I didn't know how sensitive she was to things like that. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't hav-"

Completely different than what I expected her to do, she laughs softly. From the rearview mirror, I saw Erwin was confused as well. "Don't apologize, Levi. I've been called worse... and hearing that from a friend like you... I feel... welcomed."

"O-Oh..." My hand began to cover my face with embarrassment. "I-I didn't know... but I'm glad that you feel welcomed."

Arriving at Erwin's house, he grunted as he opened the door. "Let's go."

"Wait, all of us?" I questioned, walking out of the car. "Erwin, what are we doing here? And where are your parents? The house is completely dark- it's 9 o'clock at night- what is going on?!"

He simply chuckles as he unlocks the front door and locks his car. "Don't worry, Levi. Just get inside."

Groaning, I walked up to him, walking inside the house. "What? A scardy-cat-"

The lights suddenly turned on and I saw Eren, Petra, Oluo, Eld, and Gunther surrounding a table. They all shout: "Surprise!" and laughs, tossing confetti in my face.

"W-What the..." I began before Hanji hugged me from behind. "Hanji, were you in this as well?"

She simply chuckles softly, "No, I didn't know. Not until Erwin texted me right before we left my house. But hey, happy be-lated birthday, Levi..." She then kisses my cheek before jumping towards everyone.

For a second, my hand went to where she kissed and I left it there, trying to recollect what just happened. From one surprise to another... things never got worse... not really... my online lover was here... and now, I just wanted to be in an official relationship with her.
