I turned to look at Ryder, who seemed as though he would faint any moment.
Chase looked so heartbroken, as he stared at Ryder.
"You were in this with Tyler?" Chase asked I doubt the fact that he wasn't crying.
His own boyfriend tried to kill his best friend.
Maybe Ryder did that because he was Jealous of Sam? Or maybe he wanted to frame James for Christian?
"I-It was a mistake. I was driving fast, I didn't see her. I swear, it was a mistake. And, Jessica and Bethany knew about this." Ryder said, looking down.
For once I saw fear in Ryder's eyes.
He feared losing Chase.
He told me a few hours ago, that he loved Chase.
Ryder deserves a second chance, he didn't hit Sam on purpose.
Chase, however, didn't agree.
"How could you? You should've told me." He started off.
"I'm sorry. I didn't tell you this because you'd hate me if you found out." Ryder said, and I swear, I saw something shiny in his eyes.
"I can't forgive you for this. How could you?" Chase asked, helplessly.
My heart broke as I saw Ryder crying.
He was crying because he was losing Chase, his love.
"You know Chase, there was once a time when Ryder didn't have a purpose to live. When he used to miss Christian to such an extent that he had lost the will to live. He used to cut himself, bleed and torture himself. But now, he doesn't do it anymore, do you know why? Because he found you. You were the angel who defeated his demons. You saved Ryder. And now if you leave him, he'll break to such an extent that he'll be beyond repair." I finished, trying to make Chase understand.
Chase himself was crying. He shook his head.
"I can't forgive him for this. She's in a coma. All because of him. If only he told me before." Chase said, crying hard.
But Ryder was crying harder than Chase.
I moved towards Ryder, as I cupped his face.
"Stop crying. Please. Be strong. Bring that Cocky boy out, Ryder. You're better than this." I explained, before pulling Ryder for an uncomfortable hug.
As I was hugging him, I slowly untied his hands from behind.
As soon as I freed his hands, I pulled away.
I looked around, only to find Tyler staring at Ryder, with pity.
I felt my blood boil.
It was all Tyler's fault. Why did he have to say this now?
"Any more questions left?" Tyler asked me, mockingly smiling.
Control. Travis will be here in a minute. I'll shoot this Jerk with that gun.
"Your turn," I said, standing at my previous spot.
"What?"
"You ask. Or you know what? I'll confess something. Jasmine loved you."
"What do you mean?"
Tyler looked beyond confused.
"Before falling for James, she was in love with you. She loved you so fucking much."
"W-why didn't she confess?"
"Because she thought you loved me."
It took him a whole five minutes to process what I just said.
He had this crazed look in his eyes, as he stared at me.
"I loved Jasmine. She loved me. Our love story wasn't complete all because of you." He said, as he slowly removed Jessica from the gunpoint.
She let out a sigh of relief.
He raised his gun at me.
My jaw dropped.
"You said you loved me."
He smirked at me, before saying.
"Sorry. I only love my bed and my mama."
"You don't have another option. I mean, have you looked into the mirror?"
He stopped smirking, as he scowled at me.
Damn my smart mouth.
Tyler raised his gun at Cole.
"I'm not gonna kill you. I'll torture you by killing Cole." He said, aiming at Cole.
No...no....no...this can't be happening.
I watched in horror as Tyler pulled the trigger. And I heard the gunshot.
But, before I could register, Cole tackled Tyler to the ground.
The bullet didn't hit Cole.
Phew.
I watched as Cole and Tyler had a fight.
I searched for Tyler's gun, only to find it lying near Ryder's legs.
I moved forward to pick it up but stopped as Ryder picked it up.
He stood up, before raising the gun at himself.
"What the hell, Ryder? Don't do that shit." I said as I stood in front of him.
"I'll kill myself. I can't live anymore." Ryder raised the gun at his head.
"If you kill yourself, I'll kill myself too." I threatened.
"Don't be rubbish." He said as he took one last look at Chase.
Chase watched in horror as Ryder was about to pull the trigger.
"Stop," Chase said, and Ryder stopped dead in his tracks.
Where the fuck is Travis?
I quickly went ahead and untied Chase.
Chase pulled Ryder for a hug, as Ryder dropped the gun.
I proceeded to untie Jessica and Bethany.
And then, Brody.
I noticed James freeing himself.
I was about to free Antony but stopped when I heard Tyler.
"Stop, or I'll shoot Cole," Tyler said as he pointed the gun on Cole who was lying on the ground.
I raised my hands.
James was about to attack Tyler, but I stopped him.
I can't risk Cole's life.
Cole wasn't moving.
Maybe because he passed out.
"Kill me," I said as Tyler raised his gun at me.
Just at the moment, we all stopped, when I heard footsteps.
Someone was coming.
The footsteps stopped, as I noticed a figure in the dark, standing at the place where I once stood.
"Why is it so dark in here?" I heard Travis' voice as he switched on the lights of the building.
