As of now, Sakura was contemporary in Sasuke's life. Sasuke didn't even know that his mystery friend was Sakura, vise versa. They both saw each other as an 'I am bored' item. Maybe that would change, none of them knew if it would. They enjoyed each other's company, and thought they were funny. But who knows what tomorrow will bring.
