Well, the story then!

--------------------------------------------------

Third P.O.V.~ Sorta. Well, Stingyu perspective.

"S-sting, you're scaring me. Please don't do that."

Yukino was currently pushed up against a wall, Sting staring at her awkwardly.

Yukino: Um, Sting?

Sting: ...

Yukino: Uh, Sting. Really. Come on.... Stop it!

Sting:....

Yukino: I will not hesitate. You are making me uncomfortable. Snap out of it! (-  _  -   )

Sting: ...

Yukino: Sting, you leave me with no choice. Hyaa-

Sting blocked Yukino's attempt to knee him in the groin easily.

Yukino: ...

Sting: ...

             ...

             ...

you smell like fish.

An awkward silence descended on the small room in an old abandoned apartment. Yukino stared at Sting, and Sting stared back. Both equally silent, waiting for something to happen or someone to say something.

"Geez, thanks for the stellar  compliment."

'Is pisces's smell getting onto me?' Yukino thought, more concerned about it than she ought to be at the moment.

In a swift, fluid motion, Yukino pulled out Libra, taking advantage of Sting letting his guard down. Not a second later, the white dragon slayer was pinned to the ground by the weight of Libra's gravity magic.

Sting: Leffmeff gurrrrr!(Let me go!) Iarrrhauff yar faur driiiiiis! (I'll have you for this!)

Sting attempted to speak while his face was smuasheed (suh-mwa-she-de. It's like mutated form of... never mind no one cares.)

Yukino let out a sigh of relief and quickly gathered some supplies while Sting was still under the gravity magic effect. She rushed around the room, taking clothes, canned foods, a map, and a compass and shoving them into the canvas bag she had found by the door. She set up some rune spells she had learned from a guild mate that would keep the poor guy inside for a day or two and was able to close Libra's gate. After hurriedly consulting the map, the celestial spirit mage then called upon Pisces to get her to the nearest town.

Yukino: What did I just do, and what for?

Pisces: yooooOOOOOOoooo ( trying to replicate the sound that Pisces makes)

"Well, I guess I was just scared. I really don't like this 'dragon mating season' thing." Yukino was speaking aloud now, to no one in particular.

"And the scary thing is, I love him, I really do, but what if he's just acting like this because of the D.M.S?"

Later in the day, about half an hour from the town, they stopped to take a break. Yukino closed Pisces's gate for a while so the spirit could get some rest. The day was hot and humid, and Yukino was hot and tired. Under the shade of some trees, she wrung out her damp cloak in a cold, refreshing stream that sliced through the center of this forest. Now hungry, she opened a can of apricots. They were delicious, provided energy, and were extremely high on calories. The Mage leaned back, settling herself on the bag of supplies, and let herself fall into a deep sleep.

The  sun shone bright onto the small farm. Green, soft grass billowed in the playful breeze of summer.  A little girl in a blue and white blouse with short white hair was reaching for a ball that had landed on the tall shelf inside the horses stables. She was about seven. The little girl had her eyes fixed on the red and purple ball and didn't notice the sack of grain beneath her. In the next moment, the little girl made to take a few steps forward. Instead, she knocked the sack of grain with her knee. Tiny, shiny amber seeds rolled their way across the dull brown wood of the rough stable floor.

"Oh, silly girl, what have you done now?" A tall woman in a baby blue dress patted the little girl's head with one hand, and carried a bucket of  milk in the other. She was beautiful, and well into her thirties. Her glamorous face was pulled tight into a frustrated frown, her striking blue eyes sweeping over the spilled grain.

"I-i'm sorry.... I-it won't happen again, I promise!" The little girl stammered nervously. The Woman looked down with kind eyes.

"Don't worry about it. There is work to do and no time to be idle. We shall eat our lunch and go on about our chores. Oh! Please change the hay in Grandie's stall after your other tasks, your sister skipped it yesterday somehow. The woman walked away, her dress swishing around her ankles.

"Sure." The young girl dashed off towards a small white house at the edge of the fields, eager to eat.

"Yuki!" A slightly older version of the little girl ran up to her, leaving a black and white dog in her wake. The older girl had beautiful white-silver hair that swept down to her waist and flowed around the bodice of a dark blue skirt. The skirt was frilled around the edges and provided a nice contrast for the white blouse that made up the upper part of the outfit.

"Sora! Why did you miss Grandie's stall yesterday? Now mothers making me do it!" Despite the age difference the older cowered under her little sisters fierce glare.

"G-gomen'nasai.... We're having watermelon for dessert today!" The older girl called Sora ran into the house before any further explanation. The little girl, named Yuki stood there with arms crossed until she heard the watermelon part. They had not grown watermelon in a few years, and they were hard to come by at the market or from the street vendors. Yuki quickly followed in her sisters wake.

Four people were gathered at the table, eating off of dainty white plates. The inside of the house was scarcely furnished, consisting of only a table, four chairs, a tiny kitchen, a sofa by the fireplace, a bookshelf, and a single portrait hanging above the ash-filled fire place.

The woman sat at the side closest to the kitchen. Yuki and Sora sat on opposite sides of the table. A man, around forty, sat in his chair, the one closest to the door. The man's hair was black, though streaked with the white of age. His crisp, defined features were distressed as he read a newspaper.

"Shiro. Come with me. We need to talk." The old man spoke gruffly, gesturing to the woman.

"Of course." Shiro stood and hurried after her husband, as he was already out the door.

After a moment of surprised silence, Sora spoke up.

"Yuki..."

"Yes, one'chan?" (Sorry I don't know for sure the Japanese for older sister, I just used google translate and I know it's not always accurate so I apologize if it's wrong)

"Do you know what has all the grown ups so worked up?"

"No.... why?"

"Some of the villages surrounding us have been attacked. These men come and kill all the adults, and take the children to heaven knows where."

Yuki's eyes widened in horror.

"But i'm sure they're all just rumors. The grown ups are upset because they've heard the attacks are getting more frequent, and coming closer." Sora assured her.

The two sisters continued to eat their meal in silence.

Shouts. Bangs. Crackling of fire. Screaming.

Run....run....for mother......for father....for Sora....

Yukino Aguria collapsed, so tired, it took effort to breath.

"Sora....Sorano.....Where are you? Sister! SISTER! Hello? Sora-chan.... where did everyone go?"

Yukino's eyes fluttered open. She automatically brought a hand up to her eyes, expecting bright light. That's odd.... it's not very bright. Well, there's no light at all....

That was all she thought before drifting back to sleep.

This time, when she opened her eyes, instead of the soft rays of dawn from the farm, she was met with dusty, polluted air and a few strips of light. She got up and looked around. This.... was Sorano's body. She felt dismembered, as if spectating from a distance.

"U-um..... h-hello?" Sora winced as she sat up, her muscles and bones throbbing with pain.

"Oh! She's awake! Richard! Sawyer! Come look come look come look!" A young boy with tanned skin and spiky black hair waved two others over.

Looking around, she saw that they were in a cave, slightly smaller than the house. It was shaped as a circular dome. To her high left there was a barred window that cast striped shadows onto the ground. To the right was a large iron gate, complete with a padlock and a thick, heavy chain. The entire space was made up of dusty stone.

The black haired boy was looking at her curiously, and was soon joined by two others. One was quite plump and had curly orange hair. His face was oddly geometric. The other was short, skinny, and tanned. He had extremely short grayish hair.

"Hi hi hi, I'm Erik!" The spiky haired boy said into Sorano's face. "I'm Richard." The fat boy added, as if his name were a segment of Erik's, not an individual introduction. "I-i'm sawyer." The scrawny boy looked as if he were about to cry.

"Hello, I-i'm Sorano. What is this place?" Sora was surprised by her own weak voice. Richard told her some system in the middle of the ocean and took her by surprise. She had expected Erik to be the one to answer, as he was the most talkative. Instead, Erik was playing with a small purple snake that had little studs of wings on it's back. Erik saw her staring and let her pet the little creature. It was only then that she noticed the other little boy. He was black and white haired, and curled into a fetal position, hands over ears.

"Don't worry, he's okay. He's just scared out of his mind. I guess we all are, but we deal with it in different ways. As for me, I have my snake, so I'm okay.

"How long have you all been here?" Sorano peered at the shivering boy.

"I was taken here about a week ago. Richard and Sawyer came a few days later, together. Macbeth got here yesterday. He couldn't sleep the entire night." As Erik recited their arrivals one by one, a masked guard appeared at the iron gate.

" Ay' quite down in there!" The guard shouted even though the prisoners were a mere few feet from him. He banged his spear against the bars, craeting an intimidating noise that sent Macbeth's shivers into shaking.

The next few months were torture. They were forced to do labor with little food. Metal bands that connected with shockers went around their wrists. Any disobedience, and the shockers would electrocute the prisoners. Then one day, something interesting occurred.

A young girl, slightly younger than herself, ran out of the cells. A few other children followed her, baring weapons in hand. They weaved through the guards and darted to the side of the tower, and jumped off the side, not looking back. Soon, the entire tower erupted into chaos. Guards fell, prisoners broke free. Sorano, Erik, and Sawyer ran out to the edge of the island, losing track of Macbeth and Richard on the way. She looked around desperately, hoping to catch a glance of that amazing young girl.

Soon Erik heaved her and Sawyer into a small raft and set sail into the vast sea.

They were almost out of the ports, when she saw it.

A large, bright red magic circle, brimming with determination, hope, brokenness and despair. And in the center of it, a flash of flaming scarlet hair. Sorano covered her mouth and let the tears fall, tears of admiration and happiness.

"I'll remember you, I promise. There will come a day when I can find you again, Scarlet." She whispered almost inaudibly into the inky night sky, sailing into the dark sea.

" Hng.... Ugh, " Yukino awoke with stars in her eyes.
" Geez, how long was I out?" Yukino gingerly sat up, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
She gathered her supplies, summoned Pisces, and got herself to the nearest town. There, she bought a train ticket back to sabertooth.

A/N: I've decided to not do Kinerik, Kinana and Erik, mainly because I don't have much about them to build a relationship on. The fairytail series doesn't tell a lot about them, or rather, their relationship. Let's just say she and Erik got together and eventually married and had children. As for what happened in the story, I'll just say....... He took her to the place he first heard her thoughts, and then a bunch of sentimental cheesy stuff. Ya.

2 down, 38 to go. Not hard or challenging at all.

My friend recently told me I should have something called a SCHEDULE!

Like, designated times that I MUST publish on. For example, every Thursday and Saturday. Which is not possible for me as I like the longer chapters, even if they take long to update. I will try, key word:TRY! But I make no promises. This was a rather long chapter, and I do feel that it could have been 2 chapters. Like, the word count right now is a bit over 2200 words.

But it doesn't hurt to write long chapters.

Thank you actually so much for reading. I now have 60 views. Like I know that's almost nothing compared to other books but it's more than I could ever expect. Current word count: 2278 words.

THANK YOU ALL SO MICH FOR READING HAVE A GREAT DAY BE AWESOME AND AMAZING AND AWE INSPIRING AND HAVE A MOST WONDERFUL DAY BYEEEEEE~~
