Xavier's POV
My eyes stared at the ceiling recalling last night. Recalling every incident that led to today. Groaning I turn to my side and hugged the pillow she would lay on.
' this is You fault you know' I told Marco
'Yea yea yea' he snarled
' you think they'll take her back as a Luna seeing her nearly kill Erica?' I asked him
' yes' he bluntly said
' what makes you say that' I scoffed
' they were on her side the whole time. They were scared but still were on her side'
'..not to get on her bad side either' I thought
We both stayed silent as I played the moments of last night. The bloody scene they both left me with. The pained pack members that knew her.
' at least it was cleaned up' Marco said
' shut up' I lightly chuckled
Closing my eyes trying to rest a little more but the thought of the pack accepting her rested with me.

•Hazles POV•
' Hazel....Hazel..can you hear me I'm scared I can't move I feel like my head is spinning' a voice called out to me but I was to tired to respond
'Hazel please it's me your brother, mason. I'm scared'
' listen to him Hazel Listen to him' I heard Mia say
I groaned as I answered to the voice.
' I'm alive I'm just...tired and I don't know why' I respond
' I know me too but do you remember anything' mason asked
I stayed silent for a moment before recalling.
' I-I remember something happened to us and then w-we heard moms voice she was talking to us and after that...nothing but darkness' I say as I try to open my eyes but I couldn't
'...what is going on' mason sighed
'Fathers coming for us..that's what.'
About to speak again when voices could be heard.
' is that Xavier?' Mason said
' I think so...what is he saying?'
'..we're what?'

•Xavier POV•
Pacing a little as I was trying to collect my thoughts. Hearing that female voice as she spoke to the two.
Seeing them so scared and confused of why this is happening. My mind could only race seeing them on the floor lifelessly.
' please the both of you wake up...'
" alpha, I've got news and I don't know if it's good or bad" he spoke
Looking over to him seeing him walking down the steps and towards me.
" what's the news? Tell me they will be alive. At least that" I begged
"They are and will be but...this is so unusual. Nothing is wrong with them. The wounds that they had gotten from last night mostly Luna's it's gone. If you lift their fur you can see the scars but nothing else. It's like they've changed their entire body."
I stayed silent for a moment as I knew I could have stopped all this. I knew if I didn't just stay frozen and calling out to her like an idiot they wouldn't be in this situation. No one would.
" take me to them"
He nodded as we walked to the room upstairs and saw them completely tied down. Ropes were on them as their breathing was barely visible.
Their bodies were stuck in their wolf form and taking a good look at them now.
" they are much larger then they once were alpha...what ever they are isn't something that shouldn't be in this world" he said
I lowly growl seeing him flinch
" why do you have them tied up" I ask
" w-we want to be safe. If they wake up they will most likely try to harm someone. The pack has already started to fear them" the Doctor responded
"They aren't dangerous...they were raised differently and they don't even know what's going on" I say
" alpha-"
" talk down on them one more time and you'll be on that bed" I snarled
" yes alpha...but about what I said of them living...I don't think they will."
My body froze as I stared at the two. Looking over to them I could only feel an ache in my heart.
' wake up. Wake up!' Marco snarled
" w-what" I said
" ..we watched them for 2 hours they didn't move one bit and their heart rate drops or increased"
He explained
My body felt hot as my mind could only think of them being gone. They'd make a rip in the pack as I know they hold some part to the pack.
' I know they can't die. They can't'
I clenched my first and growled.
" don't lie to me" I growled
"Alpha?"
Turning to him I grabbed him by his collar and showed my fangs. Looking him in the eyes as he trembled.
" w-wait! I'm telling the truth alpha!"
" You Will Not Let Them DIE" I demanded
" I-I'm sorry alpha but there is nothing I can do they might d-die" he whimpered
" I-I—your lying" I say
Loosening my grip I let him go and turn to the two when I noticed one of them moved their ear. I looked at the doctor as he held his throat.
" did you see that" I questioned
" see what" the Doctor mumbled
" watch them" I say
" Hazel...Mason can you hear me" I called to them as I walk towards them
" they can't we tried" the doc spoke
" shhh...Move your ear if you can or any thing do something to let us know you are alive" I ordered as I was right in between them
I wait a few seconds but nothing happens.
" see-"
A growl then escaped both of their lips. It vibrates in my chest as it made me relaxed.
Patting the two letting them know I'm here.
" for them to growl that loud they both must be okay." The doctor said
Looking to him and wanting to call him out when I heard their movement.
•Hazels POV •
' we need to get up I don't care how tired we are...and I know we are not dying' I stated
' I know but how...Kai Where are you? Help me' mason calls out as I then called out to mia
' Mia, MIA please come to me. Come back mia....'
I felt the flight panic run through my body as I felt odd but not unfamiliar to her presence being gone.
' fine...I'll help myself. Mason push your self to move.' I ordered him
' but without-'
' they'll come back. We need to get up.' I argued
Hearing him sigh as he slowly started fo count down.
Letting his count down slowly push at my body to move. Slowly adding pressure to what I wanted to move.
' open your eyes'
Opening I could see him beside me already looking at me.
" Guy-"
Sudden pressure was on my body as I growled.
" They are moving let them go Now" I heard Xavier say
" I can't it's for our-"
" I will handle them if they try anything. They need to move and get out of those ropes" he argues back and I then felt a pair of hands untying something
" there you can move again" Xavier said and I didn't waste a second and immediately got up
" whoa careful there Hazel. You should still be tried out from yesterday. I don't want you guys going out like that again. I don't need you to push your selves out the pack...please just change back. We'll talk about this all together"
I looked at him as I turn my head to Mason. He nodded as I looked back at Xavier.
' I can't promise that'
He stared blankly at me when the doctor spoke.
" we can't hear you...If you're trying to talk to us"
'...do you hear me now' I ask and they both nodded
' at least they didn't hear that you couldn't promise it' Mason said
' yea at least.'
Closing my eyes as I felt my body warm up and hearing the slightly cracks in my body. Feeling the movement till I could make my hands into fist.
" Don't Look" I heard Xavier snarl
I opened my eyes seeing Xavier himself wasn't even looking. He immediately grabbed two towels and tossed it to my direction and Mason.
Covering up as I turn to Mason seeing for the first time his littered scars on his chest.
" you have some pretty deep scars" I spoke
" what about the new faint one on your neck" he snarled
" What?"
I held my neck as I saw a small smirk from him.
" funny, and doctor for..the future..those ropes weren't going to hold me down for long. And for your safety cage me like a wild animal next time" I glared at him
Seeing him avoiding eye contact as I felt the need to walk towards him when Xavier placed his arm around my waist.
" let's head back the two of you. I'll deal with him later. I will walk you back..." he said
He stared at me for a few seconds before I heard gagging sounds from Mason. I let a laugh slip out and looked at him.
" yes Mason we know" I smiled at him seeing him smile back
Walking out the room with Xavier right beside us. The halls were empty as I couldn't see a single person walk by.
' I'm worried for what's about to come...' Mason said
' the pack members..they won't accept us at all..and they still haven't made an appearance have they? Mia and Kia' I asked
' no...'
" don't worry about them. I've talked with them-"
" that won't change their view of me. We just murdered someone and then we turned into this thing and..then we had this voice talking to us—the point is..they won't think highly of us.." I argued
" but I've warn them and she's not dead. She's alive and recovering. I've warn everyone here that you are still wild inside. I've told them if you ever get mad Mason will be right behind you and be mad with you. That was no lie" he scoffed
" but that will make us both seem bad. The death of the women, the death of Ava, the near death of that girl...is actually taking a toll and view on Hazel and I" masons said
Xavier sighed as we got to masons a room.
" I'm trying my best to show the pack you are not actually dangerous. Both of you sure had spread panic to the pack, but I know who I'm dealing with and how to cool down my pack. Just give me a few hours and they'll be all over you guys" he softly smiled
I looked at him for a moment seeing he was determined to make that happen. Determined to see us with the pack again. I smiled and spoke
" alright big guy...I trust you to help us"
He was about to speak but I pulled away and opened the door to masons room.
" you heard her, we trust you on this" Mason slightly glared but smiled
The door closed not giving him another second to speak. I walked towards the bed and laid on it.
My eyes glued to the ceiling as i slowly reached from my neck where she bit me.
" I'm supposed to be dead..."
" I know...she bit you so hard..I'm still confused on how you're alive" he truthfully spoke
I stayed quiet for a moment before sitting up and walking where his clothes were stored.
" My clothes?" He scoffed
" any other clothes?"
He sighed and I did as I please as he followed right after.
Both finally dressed we both walked out the room and walked down the halls. They were quiet and untouched by anyone. Turning a corner when we both saw a few pack members.
Hearing their words as they didn't realized we were near by.
Feeling a tug my shirt as mason started to walk. I followed behind when they finally noticed us. Their body's froze up and took a few steps back but one.
We kept walking till we were right beside them. I didn't look over knowing and feeling their obvious fears and glare.
" what a monster"
" I can't believe she is our Luna"
" they will kill us all at this rate"
Stopping as Mason gripped my hand tightly.
" i think she heard us"
" I don't care"
" I can't even believe that her brother is the beta as well"
" what if you are trying to gain the alphas trust and then kill him and everything is a lie"
"....you really think I would do that to my mate...you are sick" I blurted
Yanking away and walking away feeling those words start to revolve in my head.
" Hazel we need to get out of here"Mason spoke
I nodded and started to walk faster and breaking into a sprint.
' monster monster, you're lying, they'll kill everyone'
Feeling tears in the making as I could feel my mind race. I could feel masons panic.
Coming down the stairs as there were many more pack members but we both just kept running down.
" Mason! Hazel?! Guys!" We heard Xavier shout
Ignoring him completely as I opened the door and sprinted out. Hearing a few pairs behind us I turned around to see guards and max being right in front of me.
" luna come back" he softly spoke
I looked into his eyes and remembered him above the girl. Remembering Mason bleeding.
" n-no..I won't I won't come back"
About to protest I growled seeing him and others flinch away as I kept running.Not hearing them behind me as I followed the faint footsteps on Mason.
Followed till we reached a small hill and laid at the top. The cold no longer seem to affect him anymore. Not a single shoe nor thick clothing.
We sat watching the sun up in the sky still as our minds could only race with those words and thoughts.
" Hazel are you okay" he softly spoke
" yea...I have been thinking....should we leave" I ask
He didn't reply for a while as we sat in silence. Letting everything around us ease us.
" yes... if those were only small words being said to us..then I can imagine how others viewed you..how to feel when they call you—"
" monsters...Those words belong to our father who made us like this...scars all over my body..a horrible memory when we were little. The things we see and do all relate to him...I hate it when they say it to us.."
" because we aren't the real monsters" we said in sync
"....we are leaving tonight like mother said we will come back a few months later" masons said
" hopefully they can be safe with our absence" I mumbled
" they want us to leave..father wants us to leave to him. Xavier has other connections even you don't know about. He and the pack will be okay. Plus nothing that is happening is our fault. Xavier knows, the pack somewhat knows...but this strangeness in us no one knows" he said
I looked at him seeing his short Hazel hair. Knowing that's how I got my name I placed my hand on his head and ruffled it a little.
He then took out his pinky and I did the same and connected them. He looked to me and gave me a small smile.
" we'll be back" I mumbled
I nodded as we both connected foreheads.
' just for a little Xavier...I'm sorry'
