You sighed as another day passed by without Felix. No calls, no texts, not even some small neighborly talks. Well, you do sometimes bumped into him but every time you started bringing up a conversation, it didn't last longer than a minute.

You got reminded by last night's talk with Changbin, it made you feel uneasy. Questions of unsure barging in your head nonstop that made you didn't sleep well. Your heart felt uneasy that you couldn't calm it down.

You lifelessly walked towards the door to turn the sign around into a bold 'close'. You were looking down at your shop's brown wooden floor that made you didn't realize the person who was standing in front of your glass door until he knocked it. You shot your head up and was greeted by Felix with his bright smile and a bouquet of white daisies on his hand.

You couldn't help but smile as you saw him. You opened the door before moving a few steps closer to him. He ruffled your hair as you pouted. You heard him chuckled before pulling you into a hug. He put his hand on your small back as you put yours around his waist.

"It's been a while," he mumbled as he took a deep breath of the scent of your minty shampoo. "Oh how I miss this scent," he said that made you giggled.

"What are you doing here?" you asked as you pulled away without letting go.

"I wanna take you out for dinner, well if you don't have any plans tonight," he said that made you nodded.

"Let me close my shop first," you said as he nodded and walked into your shop.

He looked around your shop which has almost all lights off. It was almost six in the evening but the sky still has that orange sunset ray that shined through your shop. Felix moved his feet towards one of the shelves there and stopped as a book caught his eyes. He took the book from its place before opening the first page of it.

You took a peek on him from behind the counter and smiled, "Sherlock Holmes is one of my favorite fictional characters," you said although he already knew.

"And The Sussex Vampire is your favorite chapter where it shows how big a mother's love can be and at the same time how dangerous a brother can be," he said that made you nodded.

"Even though a mother seemed doesn't care about her child, she can never abandon them. Even if they do, a mother always wants the best for her child so they must have their own reasons. While for siblings, they'll act nice and reliable while they can slowly stab each other from behind. Mostly is because of the lack of communication. They couldn't understand each other so they'll act as a protagonist to cover their antagonist self. Good thing me and Mino aren't like that at all. We talked all of our burdens and problems when we do have one and always try to solve it together," you said that made Felix nodded in agreement.

"Me and my sisters too. Even though we live apart from each other, we still communicate a lot," he said as he emphasized the word 'a lot' while rolling his eyes that made you giggled.

You turned the last light off before grabbing your bag, exiting the book shop and locked the door. You started walking away with Felix beside you. It was almost dark, there was still a little ray of sunset left that made the streets looked a bit more aesthetic. You walked side by side, in silence, but not an awkward silence, it was more of a comfortable one.

"Oh, here. I got these for you," he said as he handed you the bouquet of daisies which you gladly accept.

"Thanks, they look pretty," you said as you look at the white daisies.

Felix turned his head to watch you admire the daisies, "You're way more beautiful than those flowers," he mumbled but you could still hear him.

Your cheeks started to get warmer as shades of red started spreading on it. You tried to cover your red cheeks with your hair but it seemed useless since Felix noticed it. He pulled your wrist before cupping your cheeks while squishing them.

"Why are you so cute?!" he squealed. You pouted as he didn't let go of your cheeks that made hin squealed even more, "Don't show that pout to anyone else other than me okay?" he said that made you giggled.

"For your information, Mr.Kang's pork cutlet is pretty big, well huge. Are you sure you want to order two portions of it?" asked the middle-aged waiter.

"Yes, I still believe we can finish it, I mean, how big can it be?" said the male customer.

"But, Kang Hodong's pork cutlet is really really big, it's enough for three until four people. Are you sure you don't want to order two of Lee Sugeun's pork cutlet instead? Or at least one portion of Kang Hodong?" asked the waiter again and the couple shook their heads confidently.

"Two Kang Hodong's pork cutlet and two iced lemon tea please," said the female customer.

The waiter with the tag 'Lee Sugeun' sighed, "Alright then. Just to let you know that take out is available. Your orders will arrive in ten to fifteen minutes. Thank you," he said as he took the menu from the table and left.

Meanwhile, a couple beside the first table were holding their laughs as they knew how big the portion is. You looked out the window to distract your attention from laughing while Felix was looking all around while giving out a few giggles.

"They don't know that they just got themselves in trouble, confidently," you whispered Felix as he nodded, agreeing.

You took a sip of your iced peach tea before coming up with a topic to talk about, "How's the cafe?" you asked.

Felix snapped his fingers and started telling how he and Hyunjin tried to make new drinks every day. There were days where the day just mixes things up and ended up some new mind-blowing drinks. There were also days where they learn some stuff on youtube but ended up making trash.

You laughed when he told you the time where he accidentally adds salt into tea when Hyunjin asked him to make a sweet iced tea. Hyunjin spat the liquid as soon as his tongue came in touch with it and ended up giving Felix some glares for the rest of the day.

The waiter came right after you finished laughing with your order before putting it down, "Here is our Kang Hodong's pork cutlet with two empty plates just like like you requested. Enjoy your dinner," he said before he left.

You can see with the corner of your eyes that the couple who ordered two portions looked at your cutlet with their widen eyes and mouths agape. You took your fork and knife and began cutting the cutlet into smaller pieces.

"Oh, we're doomed," mumbled one of them that made you and Felix held your laughter once again.

Felix cleared his throat as he dipped his cutlet into the sauce, "So how about you? What have you been up to?" he asked as he shoved the cutlet in his mouth.

"Hmm, not much. Remember that time I told you that I have a dream to write a book of my thoughts and stories to motivate others?" you asked and Felix nodded.

"How can I forget? It's the most sincere and thoughtful dream I ever heard," he said.

You smiled and that made him frowned, "Guess what,"

"What?"

"I'm making my dream come true!" you said that made Felix's eyes widen as he swallowed his cutlet.

"Really? Are you finally starting to write?" he asked which you replied with a nodded as you chewed. Felix smiled wider as he did a little dance, "I'm so so so proud of you. I can already see that you're gonna be one of the best writers with your name all over the place and your best-selling book," he trailed off as you chuckled.

"I still have a long way to go," you said that made Felix grabbed your hand.

"It might be long but you got me, Mino, Ryujin, and the others who will always support you," he said that made your heartfelt warm.

You looked at him with a smile as he smiled back. You both continued finishing your dinner while talking about random questionable things.

"Good things pigs don't fly, it'll be hard to enjoy this wonderful meal if they do," he said which you agreed.

"It's also a good thing that chickens don't fly even when they have wings,"

"It'll be hard for Woojin then," said Felix that made both of you laughed the rest of the dinner.

After dinner, you and Felix decided to walk around the park near your apartment building before going straight home. You looked around the park which was planted various types of flowers, from red roses to the green grass.

It was already ten so it was kind of late that made not many people came to the park.

You both walked towards the lake which was surrounded by trees in the and that has a long bridge on it. You got on the bridge and began slowly walking through the bridge as you enjoyed the view. The trees on the side of the lake were lightened up with colored LEDs which made the park even prettier at night. There were a few lighted up lanterns above the lake that were floated by people who came there. Each lantern represents a promise or a dream by someone or some people.

"So, y/n," Felix started as his voice got into a more serious one.

He pulled your wrist as a signal to stop in the middle of the bridge before looking into your eyes. You looked back at his dark brown ones as you can see in his eyes that there were a lot in his mind. You gave him a reassuring and comforting smile while holding his hand.

"Yeah?"

He didn't break his contact with your eyes, "I know that you know what happened last night between me and Changbin. And I know that you're starting to doubt me because of... this thing that's keeping us apart," he said that made your smile fade and looked down.

"I want to clear things up with you, I don't want you to misunderstand me nor Changbin," he lifts your chin up that made you looked into him once again. "Listen. Firstly, I understand Changbin and his feelings and I'm not mad at him because of it. Well, I was disappointed at him at first because he knew how much I love you. We did fight yesterday but that also wasn't Changbin's fault. He's your best who happens to have feelings for you so it's clear that he wants the best for you. I understand him perfectly that he might lose his anger because of what I've done. He told me that you've been missing me and wanting me while I'm... I did nothing,"

"Secondly, I understand you started to doubt me because of the lack of communication and interactions moreover without apparent reason but," Felix looked down and took your hands in his before looking back up to you. "Despite all that, I know that you trust me and you still do. So, I'm gonna ask you to please keep on trusting me. You don't need to know what's happening now because whatever it is, it won't be able to keep us apart for a long time. I love you now and forever. I'll explain everything and answer every question you have in your mind. It'll be over soon I'm sure of it so please, wait for me," he said with his eyes full of sincerity.

You looked down, sighed and nodded before looking deep into his eyes again, "As far as I know, there are three keys that keep a relationship going. Even though we're not in a relationship-,"

"Yet. We're not in a relationship yet," Felix cut you off that made you slightly chuckled.

"Even though we're not in a relationship, yet," you said as you emphasized the word yet that made Felix chuckled. "I still believe these three keys apply to us. The first key and also the first rule in a relationship is obviously love. Two people must love each other to make a relationship work. It should be a sincere feeling that came from both of the lovers. The second key is communication. Both of the lovers must communicate well in order for them to understand each other's feelings. I do believe that communication took a really important part of a relationship. The third key is trust. To explain this is simple, how can you have a serious relationship with someone if you don't trust them? Well if you don't I'm positive that relationship won't work nor even end well," you sighed as you looked at the lanterns shining on top of the dark lake.

You took a deep breath as you began saying what your heart yearns, "Out of three keys, I don't think we met one of them. We lacked communication these past few weeks. That's the real reason why I started to doubt you. But then again, I still have the other two keys. Love and trust. I love you and I trust you. So, I guess it's clear for you that I will wait for you for however long it takes, I will still wait for you. Besides, did I ever mentioned that you're my first love? I'm not letting you go that easily even if you beg me to," you said that made him chuckled.

"Then how about that neighbor of yours back in Australia that made you cried for weeks?" he said that made you groaned.

"Way to ruin the mood Felix. Mino told you didn't he?" you asked as Felix shrugged, "I promise I'm gonna end that guy's life one day and, I was a fifteen years old teenager who was attracted to a cute guy. I didn't like him, I was just attracted to his visuals," you said as you emphasized the word 'attracted' that made Felix laughed.

"As you wish princess who came to be my first love too," he said that made you giggled and blushed.

"You're not hiding your blush anymore, cute," said Felix as he squealed and squeezed your cheeks for the second time that day.

You pouted that made Felix squealed the word 'uwu' even more that made you giggled at the end.

For your information, Kang Hodong's pork cutlet is really big like...

Huge right? I mean look at the fork and knife beside it, they looked tiny. While the Lee Sugeun one is about a hand-sized version of it.
