"come on, y/n" colby begs, filming me
i shake my head "i can't colby"
"but i need my last prank to be golden"
"i can't do that to him"
"it's just a prank"
i look up at him "it's what he fears the most"
"but he'll be fine after seeing the camera and if he needs more proof, he can watch this footage"
i shake my head "i don't want to"
"i'll pay you. i'll buy you something, please"
"i don't want your money"
"then do it for friendship"
"you are my friend colby, but i-"
"just please y/n. please, please, please, plea-"
i groan "fine, but if he gets pissed, it's on you"
he smiles "deal"
i roll my eyes as i practically get dragged to his room because sam will be home in like twenty minutes
he sets his camera on the tripod doing his intro
"-and what you just saw was me convincing y/n to do this prank with me"
"i still don't want to do it"
"but the content will be amazing"
i cringe "maybe for you"
"anyways-"
he continues talking for a while before setting up two cameras
he then takes off his shirt, getting under the covers of his bed as i hesitantly crawl in, kind of wrapping the covers around me
"we need to talk and make it look believable" colby says
i nod as he easily carries on the conversation, our voices no higher than a whisper
suddenly, sam opens the door, looking devastated
"dude-" colby gets cut off
"don't talk to me" sam says before storming out of the room and down the stairs
we both scramble to our feet, colby grabbing the camera, as we run out the front door
"sam it's a prank" colby and i scream after him
he starts his car, not paying attention to us
i open the door that if thankfully unlocked before wedging myself between him and it so he can't close it
"baby, it's a prank, look"
he looks over at colby who's holding the camera and me who is fully dressed
he turns off the car, hanging his head
"i'm so sorry baby" i say, placing my hand on his cheek
he leans into it and when he does, the house lights glisten on his wet cheeks
"come here" i say, softly, opening my arms
he steps out of the car, closing the door before wrapping his arms around me, putting his head in my neck
i rub his back before he pulls away, holding my hand as we make our way inside
colby follows us, still filming
"in her defense, she really didn't want to do it" he says
sam shakes his head, not saying a word
i smile politely at colby "how about we film the outro in a little while"
he nods with wide eyes "yeah, okay"
i nod, walking with sam to his room
as soon as we jump on the bed, he rests his head on my stomach, wrapping his arms around my waist as he lets the tears flow
i rub his back and play with his hair, feeling so guilty
"i'm so sorry baby. i shouldn't have agreed, but he just kept asking and at one point, i just gave up. i should've stayed strong and not have gone through with it. i'm so, so sorry"
he looks up at me with swollen eyes and tear stained cheeks
"i forgive you and i'm so glad it's a prank. but i thought you actually-did that and- i-" he breaks down again "i can't loose you, y/n. you're my everything"
i smile, weakly "ditto"
after a few more minutes of crying, it seems as if he has no more tears
he sits up, wiping his face
"god, i'm a mess"
i laugh "a cute mess"
he playfully rolls his eyes, shaking his head
i get up off the bed, walking to the bathroom, running a wash cloth under cold water before walking back into his room, lightly dabbing it on his blotchy face
"look at you taking care of me" he hums
i smile, kissing his cheek
"you missed"
i giggle, kissing his other cheek
"you missed again"
i push him down onto the bed, hovering over him as i place kisses all over his face, making him laugh
i stop, looking down at his smiling face, admiring his beauty
"what?" he asks, laughing
"you're so handsome"
he blushes, making me laugh as i lean down to kiss his lips
he kisses me back, passionately, wrapping his arms around me, pulling me even closer, if possible
after a few minutes, we pull away, catching out breath
"lets go and film that outro so we can stay here and watch netflix the rest of the night
he smiles "sounds perfect"
i get off of him, standing next to the bed, offering him a hand
he takes it, laughing, as he stands up, following me to colby's room across the hall
i knock on the door, seeing it open a minute later, a worrying looking colby standing there
"i'm so sorry, to both of you. i shouldn't have pushed it upon you y/n and i'm sorry for putting you through it, sam. i-" sam cuts him off
"you're fine. it was a good prank" sam says, pulling him into a hug
colby smiles, relieved
i give him a hug too before we follow him into his room and record the rest of his video
when sam and i get back to his room, we turn netflix on
"just promise me you won't do those types of pranks again, please"
i look up at him "i promise i won't"
he smiles, leaning down to kiss my lips "good"
