MICHAEL
I return home with some food, and hand Luke the same order we had eaten on our first day together. I know hes trying to act okay for me, but I have to let him know that he doesnt have to pretend.
I move to sit with him in bed and we watch a film that I wasnt really paying attention to. How do I talk to him about what happend between us properly without upsetting him again? As we finish our food I tap his shoulder lightly, as he turns to me I feel a little spark. Beautiful.
"I do want you." I say quickly.
"What?"
"I didnt push you off because I didnt want you, I do, I just dont want anything to go wrong."
"I get it," He sighed. "I just dont think it would go wrong. But its okay, I'll deal with it I guess."
Luke turned away from me, his head hitting the pillow. I heard silent crying and my heart shattered. Clearly I couldnt say anything without making things worse so I didn't.
It had been a long day and I just turned to the other side of the bed and fell asleep.

MICHAEL
I woke up and Luke was awake too, but he was just staring blankly at the ceiling. I tried to talk but he wouldnt even look at me. I sighed and walked downstairs to get breakfast.
I'd been up for a few hours and decided to take Luke some food. I walked in with a bacon sandwich and placed it on the table beside him. "Please talk to me," I said sadly.
I didnt get a reply, only an exhausted sigh from Luke and I left quietly.
Staring through the crack of the door, I at least see that Luke is eating the sandwich I had made him. I smile to myself a little. He'll be okay.

LUKE
I didn't feel like moving, I probably needed a shower, but I didnt really care. When Michael tried to get me to talk, I didnt. But I did eat what he made me, because I was greatful for what he had done. We didnt really talk for a long time after that, just him coming up with food and sleeping on the sofa. The only time I left the room was when I needed to pee. It really sucked.
Im pretty sure I was allowed to leave bed at this point, so I decided that I really did want a shower. So I removed my bandages but kept my arms mostly out of the water. When I exited, I didnt do my hair because who cares? I wasnt going anywhere.
I still hadnt managed to get some of my own clothes so I guess I was back to Michaels wardrobe. Grabbing a plain white shirt and grey sweatpants I put them on and sat on the bed debating whether to go downstairs.
I have to sometime. I sighed, and went downstairs. I saw Michael on the couch with his head in his hands. It was so dark in here except for one lamp that was shining dimly. "Er, Michael?"
His head snapped up to see me. He looked so tired, so sad. His eyes were puffy but his face seemed to light up. He rushed forward and hugged me. "Luke! Im so happy you're down here."
"Im happy Im here too Mike," I said. "Im sorry I havent been talking much." I shrugged and he pulled back from the hug smiling brightly at me.
"Its okay, really, its fine. It was my fault. Lets just have some fun alright?"
"Okay,"
Before we could do anything Michael put fresh bandages on me, and we went to the kitchen and just stood for a second.
"I think we should make a cake," Michael stated.
"Why?" I laughed.
"Everyone likes cake, now go get me some sugar, butter, eggs and whatever else." He chuckled and I did.
After we had made the mix, Michael began to spoon it into the tin. Just then he turned round and wiped some on my nose. I gasped.
"Dick," I spoke and he laughed.
"Aw its okay," Michael leaned forward and licked it off.
I gulped. Oh my god Luke stop.
"I-I erm t-thankyou??" I spoke unsure.
I had a spark of confidence, and wiped some mix just above his lips, he knew what was coming. I grabbed his face and took it off. Afterwards I saw his expression, he was definately flustered.
"Er, shall we put it in?" He stuttered, avoiding eye contact.
I nodded biting my lip and watched as he shoved it in the oven.
