I climbed the first floor muttering a prayer. The wall clock I just passed said twelve minutes passed three. No bomblast, good thing.
Knocking on the third door I handed the paper to the hand shooting out of it. Didn't even attempt reading it for after three failed French classes I decided it wasn't my thing.

They weren't kidding about the national security threat. Someone was really out there cutting families open and leaving no clue other than a text of riddles sent from a private line and a bloodied note right before the killing took place.
Doubtless on how to curb the situation I flip my phone back into my pocket. Slowing at the sign that read: Welcome to Lakeview community.
This is it, my new life. The idea of a new identity and persona suddenly dawned on me.
