Imagine: Barry trying to ask you out but he's nervous.
You stood at the counter of Jitters, where you worked. The café seemed mostly empty, but only because you had been open for about thirty minutes so hardly anyone had come in. Suddenly a familiar face walked through the door.
"Good morning Barry. You want the usual?" You immediately asked him.
"Good morning, and yes please." Barry spoke cheerfully and you began to make his coffee.
"So what brings you here so early?" You ask out of curiosity.
"Work. I've been there almost all night, but Joe let me take a coffee break, as you can see." Barry replied with a laugh.
"Yes, I see. Although, you do look great for someone who hasn't gotten enough sleep." You playfully spoke as you winked at him.
"T-Thanks... So, Y/N, I was wondering if maybe, you know what nevermind" Barry said quickly, a slight blush creeping up on his face.
"No, tell me. I want to know, please?" You asked, making sure to use your puppy dog eyes.
"It's nothing. I was just thinking that, if you wanted to. You know, you don't have to, but if you wanted to" Barry spoke in a rush as he spilled a bit of his coffee.
"Barry, are you asking me out?" You questioned, you could see the shock in his eyes and it took him a moment to react. When he did, Barry slowly nodded, mouth slightly agape as he stared at you.
"Well, yeah. That's what I was going for, but I- uh, I have to go, goodbye" Barry said as he turned to walk away.
"No, Barry wait!" You stopped him by grabbing his hand.
"I'd love to go out with you" You added quickly.
"Really?" Barry asked, a smile making its way onto his lips.
"Of course." You stated.
"So, uh, how about tomorrow? Around six o'clock?" Barry asked.
"That's perfect" You replied with a smile.
