That night I lay in Edwards arms listening to Renesmee sleeping. Counting her heartbeats and breaths. That was how I passed time sometimes when Edward and I had what I loved to call our 'Silent Nights'. Silent nights were the nights where we just laid silently and pondered our personal thoughts. This only happened whenever we had a busy day and yesterday was really busy for us as an entire family.

Morning couldn't come any sooner to us so when the first light of the day hit I rose to my feet to take a shower and get ready. When I got out Renesmee had awaken. She was eager to see her cousins which made me happy. It was nice to see her with other children like her.

After I had gotten her ready and Edward had dressed we headed to the main house. As we came to the porch Renesmee ran ahead. When I stepped into the house I was overwhelmed by the smell of human food. The scent was nice but it wasn't appetizing to me, atleast anymore.

My memories of eating human food weren't anything spectacular since I wasn't ever the biggest eater. I never over-indulged or ate more then my body needed to be healthy. I wasn't anorexic or anything like that but I grew up with very little money. When it came to buying things that I wanted I always worked for it. My first job I had was babysitting my moms friends children at age 10. With the money I saved up over that month I purchased myself a book and a pair of shoes.

I followed the sounds of the children into the living room. When I first looked in on the scene I saw Renesmee sitting with her cousin Penelope and aunt Rosalie on the couch. They were watching tv. I felt another presence in the room and turned my head towards the south wall to find both Emmett and Matthew sitting with their arms crossed and identical pouts on their faces.

As I got a closer look at Matthew I realized he had grown a bit more from yesterday. He now looked to be around 6 or 7 years old in looks with his face more defined and elongated. He even looked more beautiful then he had been, if that was even possible.

Walking over to Emmett's side I took a seat beside him. "What's got you in a damper?" I asked curious to his childlike pout.

He sighed before he looked up at where Rosalie and the girls were sitting. "First of all its Friday and second of all its football season. Thirdly do I have to mention what is on tv at this exact moment?" He added in a bitter voice.

I had to do my best to try and not laugh at Emmetts heartbreak from not being able to watch the tv. When I felt confident that I could open my mouth without laughing I continued. "Uh why don't you just change the channel?" I asked.

I mean he had the remote control sitting right beside him yet he wouldn't even make an attempt to turn it to football.

Emmett gave me a look that I had never seen on his face before. "Have you ever tried changing the channel while Rosalie was watching her baby shows?" Emmett asked.

By baby shows Emmett meant 'A Baby Story', 'Bringing Home Baby' and 'Make Room For Multiples'. Every morning that I've been here it was like clock work.

"Actually I'm not a big fan of television so I don't think I'd want to watch something that bad to have the need to change the-"

"Bella, there are a few things that men need in their lives. A wife, a family and football. If you take one of those things away from a man he starts to crumble."  Emmett said in a dramatic voice.

"Emmett if you want to watch your football that bad just change the channel." I laughed.

From the corner of my eye I could see Rosaliie turning her head to look behind herself. "Yeah Emmett why don't you change the channel." She said in a sly voice.

I could hear the tone Rosalie use and I knew that Emmett wasn't changing the channel not because he didn't want to but because he was afraid of what Rosalie might do if he did. That made me curious to think of what Rosalie could do that made the 'strongest' vampire shake in his boots.

Suddenly Edward began laughing manically. For a second I thought he was going into hysterics, then he spoke. "That must be aweful to be Rosalie's bitch." He said before he caught himself.

Emmett jumped to his feet and crossed the room before he pinned Edward against the wall. "Those are fighting words man." He growled.

I jumped to my feet and in a 16th of a second was standing before them. "Hey!" I shouted as I pryed them apart. "First off Edward-" I began as I looked into his eyes. "Your daughter, niece and nephew are present so watch your mouth." I then looked to Emmett. "Set an example for your son. Learn to walk away afterall they are just words."

When I dropped my hands the two began to laugh.

"I thought you were about to break me into pieces." Edward chuckled.

Then Emmett laughed even harder. "I was going to break you into pieces. Then I realized something"

"What is that?" Edward asked curiously.

Emmett chuckled. "I realized-" He cut his sentence off as he began to laugh again. "I- I realized that I never needed my wife to step in and save my life." He finally got out before he began laughing hysterically again.

Edwards expression composed into seriousness. "I would treasure the time you have left with your masculine nature because when we move you and I both know that Rosalie will want you all on the east side of the house." He said with a wink.

For a brief second I could have sworn I saw fear in Emmetts eyes when Edward mentioned the east side of the house. What was it with the east side of the house that had Emmett terrified.

"Uh excuse me but what is wrong with the east side of the house?" I asked desperate to know.

Rosalie rose to her feet, Penelope in her arms, and walked over to where we were standing.

When I saw Penelope I could tell that she had grown too. Her face was more elegant and for the first time in my life I found someone that was more beautiful then Rosalie herself. Her daughter. Her crystal blue eyes were so blue that the bluest ocean couldn't hold a candle to them. Her nose was the cutest little button and her lips were full and set to a innocent pout. Her hair, that used to be a pale blonde, was now a dirty blonde shade. Her hair hung in extremely loose waves that fell near her waist line.

"There is nothing wrong with my house let alone my side of the house. It's perfect." Rosalie hissed before she slammed the remote in Emmetts palm. "FYI football doesn't start until twelve and its 11:58." she said before she walked out of the room.

I looked down as something brushed against me and saw Matthew. "You made mommy upset, you are in trouble." he said in an innocent voice.

"Daddy is never in trouble little man." Emmett said before he stooped down to lift his son into his arms.

I watched as the two retreated to the couch. Just as Rosalie had said the game came on. Men.

Renesmee came over to our side and held up her arms to her father. He lifted her into his arms and then she pressed her hand to his face.

"I know angel that was a bad word. Daddy slipped up but I promise I'll never do it again." Edward said to her.

That had struck me odd as well. That was the first time I had ever heard Edward use foul language and I hoped it would be the last. Luckily our daughter was smart enough to understand that so I wouldn't have to worry about her 'accidentally' using it.

"So what do you think we should do today?" I asked.

Edward shrugged his shoulders. "How about we start packing and then maybe we can head up to the house in Denali early and get settled in before the others head out." He suggested.

For a moment I thought that could be a good idea until I thought about my dad. How would he feel when he realizes that I had moved to Alaska without telling him? Would he feel betrayed or hurt?

"I don't know about that right now its too soon. I need to say goodbye to Charlie and explain to him why we are leaving." I said simply.

"Why are we leaving?" Edward then preceeded to ask me. Renesmee pressed her hand to Edwards cheek. "School is one reason love." Renesmee pressed her hand to her fathers face once more. "We haven't thought up a new story but you will know when we know." he finished.

Edward and I never kept anything from Renesmee. We were open and honest with everything because we knew that was one of the many ways for parents and their children to bond. Plus in the future when she was facing adolecence I would hope she would be honest with me too.

I knew what it was like to be a teenager. To want independence and privacy but truth. Truth was the main foundation.
