Demi's POV
As soon as the door opens I am literally fuming. Who the fuck is this bitch that is basically fucking naked. Why the fuck is Adelaide out of breath. And why is she even here
My hands turn to fists, my face turning red, anger flowing through my veins
"Who the fuck are you"
"I could ask you the same question. This is my home"
I turn to Adelaide, whose face is covered in tears as she slowly walks back and further away from me. Fear in her eyes.
"So, I work my ass off, for us. So we can have stability. And this is what you do? You come over to this bitches house? From what she's wearing. And you being out of fucking breath.
I can pretty much imagine what you've been fucking doing here" I spit at her as I start walking towards her, my eyes black as anger takes hold of me, the blonde Bitch puts her arm out and stops me from walking into her house to get Adelaide
"SHES FUCKING MINE. DONT FUCKING TOUCH ME."
"She is not leaving with you. No wonder she's been extremely fucking depressed. Look at you. You're a complete fucking mess" my blood boils but I try to ignore her, turning back to Adelaide
"LETS. GO." I say through clenched teeth, Adelaide whimpers and shakes her head furiously
"You have five fucking seconds Adelaide. FIVE"
Adelaide turns and runs out the back door, I try to run after her but the bitch stops me again and forces me out of her house. Starting to close the door on me but I place my foot so it won't close
"If I were you, I would take the fucking hint. And leave" holy fuck I'm going to kill this bitch
She forces my foot out and slams the door on my face before I can lunge towards her. I start banging on the door that I quickly hear lock
I turn around and run my fingers through my hair, grabbing handfuls and pulling on it as I let out a loud scream
I walk towards my car and just sit in it.
I pull out my phone, my hands shaking as I start calling and texting Adelaide, but she doesn't answer. Surprising.
I start the engine and drive back to the apartment. Once there I get inside and collapse on the couch, sobbing into it. My thoughts racing, Stitch comes up next to me and gently licks my tears away. I hold his head close against me. Kissing his forehead before I walk into the bedroom. Crawling into the bed and pulling the covers over my face.
That was a bad choice... the covers smell like her...
I let out another loud scream as I punch the bed, sitting up and burying my face in my knees
4 hours later
Adelaides POV
I haven't been able to stop crying since Demi left... she thinks I'm cheating on her... but I'm not... I need to talk to her.. I just didn't want to leave with her while she was so angry.. she looked like she was ready to murder me.
I wipe my tears and finish my cigarette
"I think it's time for me to go back home..."
"I'm not letting you go back there, what if she-" I cut her off before she can finish as I stand up
"Demi wouldn't hurt me... okay..? She loves me.. and I love her.. we have a lot to talk about tonight" Natalie walks up to me, her expression changing
I grab my pack of cigarettes, lighter, phone and my keys from the table, she stops me before I turn to walk away
"You don't deserve to be treated like that. Let me show you what real love feels like" she holds my face firmly as she leans down quickly and kisses my lips, I pull my face away from her quickly, wiping my lips with my sleeve
"I don't want that from you! Don't you get it?! Is this why you pretended to be worried about me? TO GET IN MY FUCKING PANTS?!"
I push her away from me as I run to the backdoor and through the house, finally reaching my car and getting inside, locking my doors as I start my engine and quickly start driving towards the apartment
I sob the entire drive, finally reaching the apartment, I stay in my car for a few minutes just crying alone... before I build up the courage to walk into the apartment..
I walk in, the puppies all laying in their beds asleep... every light is off...
Suddenly I hear the bed creak and footsteps coming in my direction
"So now you fucking decide to show up huh? After you chose to stay with her over coming home to me!! How fucking dare you!!"
After I hear Demi's screams.. I whimper and fall against the door, pulling my legs to my chest and burying my face in them
The light flashes on and I hear her walking towards me

I fucking swear.. when she asked me to meet after class.. she asked me why I wasn't showing up to class and failing.. and I told her I was so depressed because you were always away.. and that I had no energy.. she told me that if I spent a couple hours a day with her, just talking.. she would bump my grade... when I asked her why.. she said that it just seemed like I needed someone to be there.. and that I needed attention.. she said she would give me all her attention to just let me vent about what was going on in my mind..
honestly that sounded nice...because you're always gone... we never talk or spend time together anymore... and you act like I'm a bother and like I don't even exist.. so I accepted the offer.. that's what we talked about earlier.. then when I came home and you were pissed I texted her asking if I could come over because I needed to vent... she said yes and i drove there after we argued.. she was in a robe when I got there, and I asked her if she was ready for bed, that I could leave so she could rest so I wouldn't bother her.. but she said she wanted to let me vent... all we did was sit in the backyard talking.. I was crying so hard.. and she held me.. and she.. kissed me.. but I pulled away I swear.. she told me she wanted to give me all the love you weren't giving me... and I yelled at her.. I said I only wanted love from you.. then I saw your text about being 2 minutes away.. so I grabbed my stuff and ran through the entire back yard and the house.. because I didn't want to see you yet... I was hurting.... but as I reached the door you were there... I didn't leave with you because I wanted to give you time to calm down... so we could calmly talk... then I decided to come home... please believe me.. you have to believe me.. I'm telling the truth..."
As I was almost done talking Demi pulled me up from the ground and carried me to the bedroom, setting me on the edge of the bed and standing in front of me
great.. she probably didn't even pay attention to me...
my sobs echo in the house, everything just came out of me like word vomit..
I just needed her to know the truth..
Even if she didn't listen...
"SHE FUCKING KISSED YOU?!"
She shouts after a few seconds
After I don't respond she pulls away from me and roughly grips my wrists
"You need to tell me right fucking now if you kissed her back"
