He always loved the fire danced, its beautiful colors entranced him, drawing him in like a moth to a flame, and he too badly wanted to be engulfed by the warmth, he had tried other things like only bathing with scalding hot water, but that wasn’t enough, he wanted the angry flames to burn his skin, to feel the oh so lovely pain he’s been craving since childhood.
Luckily he didn’t have to wait, cause at the age of 21, his apartment building in flames, standing in his bedroom with a wide joyful grin, tears of pride and accomplishment running down his cheeks, not caring about the awful burn in his lungs, that clearly needed air, but he was in total bliss, as the flames finally reached him.
