Derek's POV 😈
I always get things my way.
What I want, I get.
In a mere second, I will get it at my possession.
It has always been as simple as that.
But I guess anything related to Bella has never been remotely easy.
And I don't dislike that. I mean it is infuriating, however she always manages to keep me on my toes.
She is entertaining and one thing I know for sure is that I will never be bored with her.
But she is not a challenge or a source of entertainment. She is a lunatic who puts the well-being of others first; like the time she tried to protect me when we were kidnapped, a girl who is broken yet fearless.
I promised to prove her wrong. I vowed to always be by her side and I plan to do that at whatever cost.
I really do not know what exactly made me come up with this decision.
Maybe it's just because she is Bella Wilson.
Everything about her is so alluring, her cute reactions, her mildly violent behaviors, her perseverance, the love she has for her loved ones and even her insecure side. She doesn't even see how amazing she is. I mean of course that woman is cocky but I know her comments are playful.
It is crazy how a few months ago I had no clue who she was and now all I can think of is her.
I looked down at the angel who leaning on my shoulder asleep. Her lashes were long and touched her cheeks, some baby hairs all over the place and her plump rosy lips which were in a small pout.
I couldn't help but smile at the sight.
Unfortunately, it did not last long before she was pulled into the shoulder of Prince Charming.
"Sorry, about my girlfriend," he emphasized.
His tone was playful but his intentions weren't.
I am very possessive of what belongs to me.
Once something is mine, it is mine and mine alone.
Therefore, Diego's comment irked me to no end.
Hence, I was about to throw him a punch when the car abruptly came to a stop jerking Bella's body into me. She groaned as we collided.
"Ace, " I gritted out murderously.
"We are here." The dirty blond replied sheepishly while shrugging his shoulders innocently.
I look down at Bella who yawned as her eyes fluttered open and looked at me with her big grey eyes.
She shot me a lazy smile as she snuggled closer to me and sighed in satisfaction.
I smirked triumphantly at Diego who shot me a nasty glare.
"Bella, let's go in," Diego said. She turned to him and nodded her head hesitantly before turning to me. She stared right back at me for a few moments and there so many emotions swirling through her eyes. I was unable to translate them into thoughts before she quickly left my embrace and took Diego's hand and hopped out of the car.
And as she left, the warmth and the energy that she brought disappeared with her.

It's been two hours that we were at the party and I haven't seen Bella.
Neither did I see Ace nor Diego.
Bianca was by my side sipping her drink quietly as I was getting more and more aggravated as the seconds passed by.
Suddenly I got a glance of Diego clumsily making his way towards us, nothing but a bottle of beer in his hand. No sign of Bella with him.
I stalked towards him demanding where she was.
"Who?" he asked slyly knowing well who I was talking about.
I shot him a warning glance.
He sighed in defeat as he ran his fingers through his hair and looked back at the direction he came from.
"Ace. She is with him. He wanted to discuss something privately with her. I waited for them for a half hour, but they are still at it." he admitted.
I trudged away from him and walked toward a growing crowd. Diego was gesturing at the backyard, there was a huge pool with people half naked, but my eyes were desperately searching for Bella.
I glanced and made my way through the crowd.
When I finally see them, my eyes bulged out at the sight.
Bella was holding an unconscious Ace as she tearfully called out to him.
"Bella, what happened?" I asked worriedly when I saw blood coming from Ace as I approached her.
"I don't know. It happened so quickly someone had a gun and tried to hurt me and then Ace, he protected me and it was supposed to be me, but he..." she cried.
"Ace, Ace don't leave me." She yelled as she hiccupped.
I took his hand which fell out of my grasp and I put my hand under his neck. There was no pulse. I then tried to listen for his heartbeat, which I knew was non-existent.
"Bella he is no more, it's too late darling." I sadly told her as she cried out holding me.
**sniff sniff*
Now I know u hate me but listen to me all the part that is italicized is not in my story it's a prank and this is dedicated to my friends 😂😂

So back to the scene where Derek's eyes were practically bulging out.
Then I finally see them and my eyes practically bulged out at the sight
Bella was on a table dancing her life out as Ace begged her to come down.
She shook her head to the nonexistent music playing in the background as she started singing as the crowd started cheering wildly.

That's me!" she swung her hips to the beat as she sang Caillou, but in her version.
I couldn't help but feel amused by the situation.
"Ace what happened?" I asked as everyone in the crowd was raising their hands and dancing with her.
Either everyone is high, or Bella is. Although this isn't much of a step up from her regular self.
"She's high. I think someone spiked her drink." He said groaning as Bella kicked his head like a soccer ball.
Drunk or not that girl is always so violent. I couldn't help but laugh. I was tearing up, but it was cut off when a kid got on the same table as Bella and started swirling her as she giggled singing.
I was fuming and pulled her down as she collided on my chest.
"Derek," She slurped excitedly as she crushed me in a hug.
I chuckled down at her, "Let's get you home."
"No." She pouted.
"Bella." I warned.
"But I want to dance with my friend," she pointed to the kid who was dancing with her.
"Well, you can dance with me when we get home." I reasoned.
"Promise?" she squealed holding her pinky.
"Promise." I reassured her.
She smiled goofily at me before urging me to give her a piggy back ride.
I sighed in defeat yet I couldn't help, but smile and shake my head.
She jumped on my back and I wrapped my hands around her legs. Her head was leaning on my neck.
"Faster horsey, " She ordered.
I groaned mentally knowing very well that this girl was going to be the death of me.
Literally.
