Mackenzie's POV
"Come on kids! Where's your spirit? This is last day of detention!" Mr. Barnes complained our laziness. By our, I mean Johnny and I.
I'm dragging my feet cause I'm so tired. Johnny already finished him. But Mr. Barnes told him to help me. So mine is almost done. Just need a little more touch.
"Aaaaand... Done!" I said. I layed myself on the ground. And so does Johnny.
"Really tired huh?" Mr. Barnes said.
"Verrrry!" Me and Johnny said in unison.
"Why? Cause you two making out when I'm gone?" Mr. Barnes said.
Honestly, he's so annoying. Why can't he just get out from my life! It'll get better.
"You two can go home now. Bye!" Mr. Barnes left.
"Are you that tired?" Johnny asked as he stood up.
"Yes." I simply answered.
"Then stood up! Now! Or should I help?" Johnny said as he held out his hand.
I reach it and stood up. Before I could do anything, he bent his knee down and carry me on his back.
"What!? I mean, I can walk! I'm not that tired!" I complained.
"Too late." Johnny said.
He ran, jump up and down, and do all those crazy things. It just made me scared. Cause there's many possible chance that I can fall.
"Johnny! Stop!" I shouted as my arm hug him tightly.
"Nope." Johnny said as he jumped.
Johnny continued running and I hug him more tight. I squeezed my eyes closed as he stopped. I opened my eyes and realized we're near his car.
"Why we're here?" I frowned.
"We're gonna go to the ice cream place near our neighborhood." Johnny said.
"WHY!? WAIT! Right...." I groaned, remembering how he gonna eat a lot of yoghurt. And my wallet gonna be very thin.
"Okay! Get inside!" Johnny said as he opened the door for me.
I rolled my eyes as I get inside the car. I closed the door and he went to the other side and get in. I started the car and drove off.
"Let's goooooo!" Johnny cheered.
"Kiddo." I chuckled.
"What!? I'm not a kid! At. All." Johnny said with a baby voice and a glare.
"Whatever you said, baby." I chuckled and rolled my eyes.
"Wow! You calling me your babe already!?" Johnny smirked.
"What!? I mean, an actual baby. And I didn't said babe. I said baby." I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.
"What time is it?" Johnny asked.
"Uhmm.." I said as I looked at my watch underneath my sweatshirt sleeve. "3:30" I continued.
"Okay. Thanks." Johnny said.
"Why you asked?" I frowned.
"Can you text your mom saying you're staying at your friend's house for the night?" Johnny said as he bite his bottom lip.
"Huh?" I stopped. Is this what people called kidnapping?? "You mean your house? Why?" I continued as I frowned.
"Cause... Something... But is it okay for you to stay at my house for the night right?" Johnny said as he scratched his neck.
"It's okay for me. Let me text my mom first." I said and he smiled. I took my phone from my pocket and turned it on. I search for my mom contact and text her.
Kenz💞: Mom is it okay if I stay at my friend's house?
Mom😘: Hey honey! Sure! But which friend?
"Hey John!" I said as I looked at him.
"Yeah?" He answered.
"My mom asked for my friend's name. Should I tell her that's you?" I asked him as I gave an air quotes between "my friend's name".
"Uhm.. it's okay I guess... But do your mom knows me?" Johnny said.
"Yup. She knows you. Your mom is her best friend." I said, remembering last night.
"It's okay then." Johnny smiled.
"Okay." I replied.

Mom😘: awwhhh! Okay! Be mature hun!😉
Kenz💞: What?! Gross mom! Anyways, thanks! Ily!
Mom😘: Ilyt! See you later honey! Have fun!😉
Kenz💞: Okay! Thanks Mom! Love you!
I turned off my phone and shoved it into my pocket.
"What did she said?" Johnny asked with a worried tone.
"She said "Awwhhh! Okay! Be mature hun!" With a winky face." I said mimicking my mom's voice.
"You're not mature enough, huh?" Johnny laughed.
"At least I'm more mature than you." I punched his arm playfully.
"Oh My God! We're here! Yay!" I cheered as I saw the ice cream place.
"Wait! So this means, I'll treat you ice cream. Then I'm not happy anymore." I crossed my arms as I realized.
"Well, I'm happy. Then you're happy!" Johnny laughed as he watched my expression. I shot a glare at him and he laughed even more.
"Come on! Let's get going!" I said as I opened the car door and stepped outside.
"If you say so." Johnny chuckled and stepped out from the car as well.
He locked the car and dragged my hand inside the ice cream place. I walk slowly and that made him annoyed. HA!
"Geez! Kenz! Please walk like human being!" Johnny begged.
"No and NEVER!" I proudly smiled.
"Okay then." He stopped and let go of my hand. Then he carried me bridal style.
"Put me down! NOW! People might see us and the gonna think that we're WEIRD!" I said as I smiled awkwardly to an old man who's staring at me like I'm weird. Well, I mean, I am.
"No and NEVER!" Johnny said, copying my words. I rolled my eyes as he entered the ice cream place.
"What do you need Johnny? And why are you carrying your girlfriend like that? Hi Kenzie!" Scott asked. He the ice cream man I known since I'm like 6 years old. I guess?
"HE WON'T PUT ME DOWN AND I'M NOT HIS GIRLFRIEND SCOTT!" I shouted.
"Chill Kenz!" Johnny chuckled as he put me down.
"Okay..? What you two need?" Scott asked.
"Chocolate ice cream with sprinkles and two scoops!" Me and Johnny said in unison and I widened my eyes in shocked. Johnny does the same.
"WOW! You two really should be a couple soon." Scott winked as he scooped two chocolate ice cream for me. And two for Johnny.
"Here you go!" Scott said as he gave us our ice creams. "It's 3 dollars for Kenzie and 3 dollars for Johnny. So the total payment is 6 dollars."
I nodded and I took out my wallet and gave him 6 dollars. And he received it as he frowned.
"What?" I asked.
"You're not a gentleman Johnny. At all!" Scott said.
"What!? She lose the bet. So she pays." Johnny shouted.
"Woah! I'm just joking!" Scott said as he threw both of his hand up in defeat.
"Ha. Ha. Not funny." Johnny rolled his eyes.
"Thanks Scott! Bye!" I waved as me and Johnny went outside and get in Johnny's car.
"You're not thanking me?! At all?" I asked Johnny as I buckled my seatbelt.
"Nope." He said and I gave him my iconic glare.
"Fine. Thank you!" Johnny rolled her eyes.
"Lucky for you I don't smacked my ice cream on your face!" I said and continued eating my ice cream. Johnny eat his ice cream as well.
I licked my ice cream properly so it won't be all over my face. 5 minutes later, my face turned into a chocolate ball.
Johnny looked over at me and he widened his eyes. Suddenly, his laugh filled the car. I can't help but joined him.

"What time is it?" Johnny asked as we went out from his car.
"3:50" I answered as I checked my watch.
"Okay. Come on." Johnny dragged my hand.
We tip-toe as we entered his house from the back door. Then i closed it slowly. We do all the spy styles from the back door to his room. That's quite a lot.
"Finally!" Johnny said after closed his door.
"Phew!" I sighed in relief as I plopped on Johnny's bed. It's comfy and soft. I wanna sleep her all day.
"Anyways, what are we gonna do?" I asked as I layed my head on the pillow, hugged another pillow, and wrapped myself with the blanket.
"Are you kidnapping me?" I asked with panic attack.
"Kind of." Johnny chuckled.
"Whatever." I rolled my eyes.
"Hey!" Johnny said as he unwrapped the blanket from me.
"Hey!" I pulled it back to me.
"Anyways, you have a clothes here or?" Johnny asked as he took out 3 of his hoodie from his wardrobe.
"No." I simply said.
"Here you go! Which one!" Johnny said as he throw his hoodies to me.
"Uhmm..." I said as I scanned all the hoodies he gave me.
"This one. I guess." I said as I pick the black one with a rose border on it and threw the other to Johnny.
"Okay." Johnny gave me a thumbs up as he put the others in his closet. Then he sat next to me on his bed. I wait a few minutes for him to leave.
"I'm gonna change." I said, looking directly to him.
"Sure! Just change! What's the problem?" Johnny asked.
"You have to leave dummy!" I rolled my eyes.
"What if I won't?" Johnny smirked.
"JUST GET OUT NOW!" I shouted and my saliva landed on him.
"Eww! Okay. I'm at the bathroom." Johnny said as he leave to his bathroom.
I quickly change into his hoodie. And lucky for me I wear a blue ripped jeans. So the hoodie suits me. And I left my sweatshirt on his bed.
"Can I come in now?" Johnny shouted from the other side of the door.
"Yup!" I shouted back.
Johnny came in and walked towards me. He checked me out? Wow! What a surprise!
Still not interested on him :)
"You looks great wearing my hoodie! My hoodie suits you! You can have it!" Johnny said.
"What!?" I widened my eyes.
"I have one more like that." Johnny smiled. He ran to his closet and showed me a hoodie that exactly looks like mine.
"Woah! Okay! I'll keep it!" I smiled. "Thank you!"
"Good thing you're not gonna wear that so people don't think we're dating." I said. Wait! Why did I said that!? Stupid me!
"Hey! You gave me an idea." Johnny said. Then he took of his shirt. What!? He has abs! Shit! Don't stare at it Kenz! Then he replaced it with his hoodie that match mine.
"Come on!" Johnny said as he dragged my hand. We get out from his room and ran quietly.
"Where are we going? What are we gonna do?" I asked as I keep running.
"Just follow me. It's a surprise." Johnny said as I followed him downstairs.
