Danny's POV:

"Care to explain what's going on, Butty?" I asked Tom.

I mean I know what she said and did was harsh, but maybe Tom needed to hear this. None of us had the guts to tell him about how he was acting. Even me, his mate.

"I'm not sure..." He said with his voice trailing off.

"Tom, you're my band mate, best mate. Please tell me what happened."

He looked down at the floor.

"She spilled coffee onto me when I was over at the coffee shop."

That's it?

"and?"

"I called Dougie to get over here, and yelled at him for taking her to Miller's." He said quietly.

"Is that why she was yelling?"

"I guess...I guess I just got carried away. Haven't been myself..."

"Tom, this isn't like you, to get mad over spilled tea, yelling at poor Dougs,--this has been going on for awhile now."

"I know..."

"Is this about...her?"

His eyes widened.

"I don't know."

It was.

"You need to talk to Delilah. Tell her your sorry. I know this isn't the real you, Tom. So snap out of it and apologize."

"I suppose I do." He said laughing and ruffling his hair. That's more like my butty.

"Good."

I walked towards the door.

"Tom?"

"Yes?"

"Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." I said quoting Mr.Fletcher himself.

Tom's POV:

I really did for bad about what I'd said and done to Delilah....she didn't deserve it. I haven't felt like myself at all for the past couple of months...ever since, well, I don't even want to think about that. But I know I had to apologize before things got out of hand; To Dougie and Delilah.

I walked into the hallway to find Dougie, leaving the girls loo.

Wait-

What on earth was he doing in the women's washroom?!

I just chuckled.

"Dougie, would you like to-"

"Talk to her." He said stern, but calmly.

"It's okay, mate. I was actually heading this way to talk to her."

He just huffed off.

"Dougie?" I asked.

"Yeah?"

"I'm sorry, mate." I said and ran to hug him with a small tear in my eye.

Dougie's POV:

I still was mad at Tom, but then hugged me. Tight. and started to cry a bit. There's no way I couldn't forgive him now.

I'm such a sucker, huh?

Delilah's POV:

I came out of the girl's bathroom, after monstrous amounts of crying and Dougie embracing me, which made me feel better, I walked outside, heading towards the music storage room.

Why was Tom standing outside the door?

Hmmph, I why should I care?

Right?

I walked passed him.

"Delilah." He said grabbing my wrist.

"Tom?" I asked.

What on earth was he doing?

"I-I-I'm sorry." He said stuttering.

Could it be? Was it an actuall apology?! From Mr. Tom Fletcher!?

"I'm sorry i've been so rude to you...you really don't deserve it, Delilah."

"I-forgive you, Tom." I said with my eyes widening.

"Thanks."

"and i'm sorry...I yelled at you..." I said.

"It's okay, I guess I kinda deserved it." He said raising his arm.

I just stared at him...but why?

He was still holding onto my wrist.

"Sorry." He said.

Why was I blushing?

Tom's POV:

Why was my face so hot?

. . .

I'm not sure what this is. . .

Delilah's POV:

"Wanna head back to the writing room?" He asked me.

"Sure." I said.

Pleasant Tom wasn't so bad.

"Ah, look who's back." Danny said.

 I just smiled.

"Hey, mate, do you think  you could look at these last lyrics?"

"Sure thing." Tom said.

"hmmm...I'm not sure if I like that." He said.

Danny frowned.

"Aw, c'mon mate, this is like the one song i've written mostly on my own for these demos." He said.

"I know that's why I'm helping with it." Tom said grinning.

"Harry, what did you think of it?" Danny asked.

"I thought I was just the drummer." Harry said humorously.

"Very funny. How 'bout you, Dougs?"

"I'm not contributing to this song...I'll just slap bass and sing." He said blunty giving a goofy grin.

"argh. Tom, what's so bad about it?"

"That line, it doesn't make sense...It needs something else."

"Ah!, Fine. Delilah, you can write, right?" Danny asked.

"That's what I'm here for."

Literally.

"Come take a look at this."

Tom was right it needed more to it...It didn't all fit.

Ah, that was it!

"Danny, you see the lines 'I can't take another night on my own'?"

"Yeah."

"Take the intro thing, the 'sick of waiting, I can't take it' and make it a round."

"A round?" He questioned.

"Yeah, like if I was singing one part, and you sang the other at the same thing, layering over each other." I said.

His eyes lit up.

"Okay, wanna try it out first?"

"Okay, can you pluck out the part of me on the piano?"

"Sure." He said walking over to the piano and played my part.

"Okay, so you sing 'I can't another night on my own' and i'll sing the 'sick  of waiting' line. But I start with my part two times first, then you come in, got it?"

"Let's give it a shot." He said.

I started to sing:

"Sick of waiting, I can't take it, gotta tell ya

Sick of waiting, I can't take it gotta tell ya

I can't take another night on my own

(sick of waiting, I can't take it, gotta tell ya)

So I took a breath and then I picked up the phone

(sick of waiting, I can't take it, gotta tell ya,)

she said oh, oh, oh,

(sick of waiting, I can't take it, gotta tell ya)

Then we both looked at each other and stopped.

Harry, Dougie, and Tom started to clap.

"Delilah! That was amazing! We're definitely going to be giving you writing credit for this song, because you just wrote are hook line!" He said picking me up and lifting me into the air.

"Danny! Put me down!" I said laughing.

"Sorry, I got carried away...you're so tiny I can just lift you into the air." He beamed.

"I know."

I was used to the 'woah you like, so short!' spiel by now.

"Del, that was great. You have a beautiful voice." Dougie said hugging me.

"Thanks."

Why was he hugging me all the time?

Danny walked over to me with a pile of CD's.

"What's all this?" I said.

"Your homework."

I observed the pile of CD's. I saw the titles 'Room on the Third Floor', "Wonderland', 'Motion in the Ocean',' McFly's Greatest Hits', and a stack of what appeared to be demos.

"You need to listen to these, memorize them, day and night. Especially the demos for our newest album in the works. You're going to be helping with a lot of it." He said eagerly.

"Why do I need to know all of these?" I asked.

"You're going to play and sing for us at gigs, you have to know the words and music if ya going to sing and play. Silly girl." He said ruffling my hair.

"Welcome to McFly." Danny said patting my back.

What have I gotten myself into now?

Author's note: seems like the dramas cooled down, but what's up with Tom and Delilah? Why is Dougie acting so weird around Delilah? You won't know unless you read the next chapter of course. (This sounds awfully cheesy, I apologize.) Hope you enjoyed reading this chapter.
