you open the door to see a puffy-eyed mark curled up in a corner, knees to his chest.
your heart breaks at the sight.
slowly, you walk towards mark, sitting beside him. you wrap an arm around him, bringing him close to you. you feel him snuggle into your chest, sniffing.
mark: ❝i can't believe they're both gone. i just can't. jaehyun could've saved them and he just—❞
you nod and pat his back.
yuta: ❝cmon, cheer up, markie. you can't break down like that because of this.❞
mark sniffs again and looks up at you.
mark: ❝will you stand by me, hyung?❞
you stare at him, taking in his words. you know. it was happening.
you were all going to break apart, only for now, hopefully.
