Facing yourself in the mirror with your hands on each sides of the sink, you sighed hearing the loud faded music from the girls bathroom.
"What if what if we run away, what if what if we left today~
What if we say goodbye to safe and sound."
The music came from the party. Your sister had to go to this huge party since she was the 'popular kid' in her school. While you being the complete opposite, you really didn't want to go but your parents forced you to go with your sister. They obviously wanted you to go with her since they had to meet their friend and didn't want you to be alone in the house.
Your sister was a grade higher than you, this party was only allowed for her grade so you were never invited in the first place.
"And what if, what if we're hard to find~
What if, what if we lost our minds~
What if we let them fall behind and they're never found."
Hearing the people sing along with the song and shout from outside, you really wanted to join them. But they told you that you weren't invited.
And it was your favorite song too. But there you were, silently singing along with the lyrics by yourself. You felt lonely not gonna lie, it made your want to tear up but held it in.
Walking out the girls bathroom, the music was much clearer and super loud. You spotted your sister having fun with her friends. You kept on a blank face and walked straight trough, heading towards the outside garden.
The music from inside was incredibly loud, but from the garden it sounded faded which you enjoyed way more compared to inside.
You sat down on one of the benches. You didn't know who's hosting this party, but that person is rich for sure. Staring off into the stars, you grew bored as you didn't know what to do.
"You don't like the party?"
The sudden voice made you jump in your seat. Turning your body to see who it was, a unfamiliar boy stood there casually with his hands on the pocket of his jeans.
Your eyes wondered away, trying to think of a response. "Oh uh, it's my sister who came. I just followed along." You chuckled and he surprisingly laughed aswell.
"Same here, my brother was invited too." He spoke and sat beside you in the bench making you tensed up a bit. "I was forced by my parents."
Your eyebrows raised in surprise as you already felt yourself getting comfortable. "Me too."
"I kinda got left out." He said. "So I came here." You nodded, knowing exactly how he felt since it had happened to you too.
He looked at you and smiled putting his hand out. "I'm Jungkook."
Smiling back at him, you held his hand and shook it. "I'm y/n."
You both spent hours to talking throughout the whole party. Laughters were made as you both got to know each other. It was probably fate that both of you met. But one things for sure, you both never felt lonely again.

This chapter was inspired after our school had this event were only my sisters grade was allowed leaving me alone. I was in in bathroom as I could hear them enjoying with their friends. I did the same thing y/n did in the start as the same song in the chapter (my favorite song) played and I just stood there staring at myself in the mirror, silently singing along to the song by myself.
