(Luna's POV)
"LUNA" I heard my dad yell
I jumped back and grabbed onto Angel's hand
He squeezed my hand tightly and pulled me behind his tall body
"I'll protect you" he promised
My dad came rushing out into the main entrance. He looked at Angel and saw my small figure behind his
"Luna" he said sternly again
I didn't say anything to him, I knew that he would be mad that I slept out last night and didn't come home after our big fight
"Oh my god, Luna, you had me so worried" he let out a big breath, trying to hold me
I frowned my eyebrows, as he tried to hug me
"What are you doing?" I asked him, as he held onto me tightly, against him
"Baby girl, I thought that something had happened to you" he said to me, not pulling away
"Well I'm fine" I said, pushing him away from me
"Oh Luna" Helena said, also trying to hug me
"Don't" I said, putting up my hands and stopping her from walking any closer to me
It started raining outside, really hard
"Tanner, Luna and I have something to tell you" Angel said, looking at us
"Alright, what is it?" he asked us
"You and my mother want to move out and that's fine. When I told you that I didn't want my mother to move in here for Luna's sake, I didn't mean that we would all move out. Luna and I made the decision that if you two move out, then Luna and I will stay here and live here. That way this house stays in the Queen family" he said, smiling at me
"You expect me to be okay, with my 16 year old daughter, to live alone with a 19 year old man in my home" My dad asked us
"Actually I'm 18, my birthday is today" he told us
"What?" I asked him
He shrugged his shoulders, smirking
"Happy birthday, Charming" I smiled, hugging him
He laughed and hugged me back
"Thanks" he chuckled
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I completely forgot" Helena said, getting and trying to hug her son
He put is hands up and shook his head
"Not now, mom" he told her
After a while, I stared speaking
"And dad, it's not like I haven't been living alone all these years. You just came home to shower and for food....rarely, I can take care of myself " I told him
"Absolutely not" he said, angrily
"Dad, I'm not asking. You and Helena are moving out and Angel and I are staying here. Neither of us, wants this wedding to happen. But apparently we have no choice. So you two can get your own little house and be happy there, and I can stay here with my friend, in my home" I told him, sitting on the edge on my seat
"I'm the parent here, and I'm the one who has the last say in this" he told me
"Oh yeah, such a great parent you are" I scoffed
"Luna" he said in a warning tone
"Let me put it for you this way. Either you let me say here and you move out. Or I'll go to the police and accuse you of abandonment and child abuse" I told him
"Are you threatening me?" my dad asked me
"Threatening is such an ugly word, I prefer, strongly persuading" I smiled at him
"You wouldn't" he said
"Don't test me, dad. I've got nothing left to lose" I told him
His eyes remained on mine and then traveled up to Angel
"I'll think about it" he said
"No, if I go to the police today, you'll perfect record of a polished, well educated, man will be tarnished and you will be screwed. I'm sure you don't want that dad, I'm not giving you time to think about it. You will let me live here and you will leave me alone" I told him
"What are the rules to this" he asked me
"You'll pay for the bills, it's not like you don't have the money to do so. I already have a job and I will be helping out. We will both be going to school. All your stuff is out and in the mean time, Helena doesn't sleep in moms bed" I said to them
"Then where should she sleep?" he asked me, growling
"There are plenty of other guest rooms dad" I growled back
"It's fine, really, I can sleep anywhere" she said, looking at us
I scoffed and rolled my eyes
He lifted his hand as if he was going to hit me and I knew. I knew that is he put his hands on me, I would hit him back
His hand came down, but before it could make contact with me, a hand stopped his
I looked up to see Angel, holding my dads wrist
"Don't you dare" Angel said to my dad
My dad snatched his hand out of Angel's and looked down at me
"Fine" my dad said
I looked up at him and smiled
"You two can live here, but I have rules, that I expect you two to follow" my dad said to us
"We have our own rules and we plan on following them" Angel told him
I nodded and smiled
"Angel, come on" I said, grabbing his hand
"Where are we going?" he asked me
"It's your birthday, we are going to celebrate" I told him, smiling
"Wait, shouldn't we do something together. we always do something together" Helena told Angel, grabbing his arm
"No mom, we used to celebrate, when it was just you and me. Now we have a whole family right and you can't be bothered to remember. So I'm going out to celebrate with my new step-sister " he said, smiling at me
"Okay, let me go change and then we can go anywhere you want" I told him and hopped up the stairs
I took a quick shower and changed
I put on a pair of denim shorts, a superman crop top and black high tops
I let my brown hair, fall over my shoulder in loose curls. I put on some eyeliner and black mascara
Once I was done, I hopped down the stairs and saw him standing by the door, with a white T-shirt, jeans, and black shoes
He looked hot
"You look good" he smiled
"You don't look so bad yourself, Charming" I nodded and smiled back
Helena and my dad showed up in front of us, with a frown on both their faces
"Don't be out to late" he said
I nodded and turned back to Angel
"So, where are we going?" he asked me
"That's a surprise" I told him
He raised his eyebrow and squinted
"Okay, you lead the way" he told me, stretching his hand out to me
I took it and we both walked out of the house, smiling at each other
This is going to be so much fun!
