Scout
It was a beautiful day out, so you and Scout were hanging out at the park and he was teaching you how to play baseball.
"Come on, baby doll, you almost hit it." Jeremy encouraged you.
"You've said that the last three misses." You groaned
"Causes it true, (Y/N). Come on, just keep your eye on the ball, and don't forget to breathe."
You took a deep breath before looking at Jeremy.
"Okay throw it." You said holding the bat up.
Jeremy throws the ball and this time you were able to hit the ball sending it flying in the air.
"I DID IT!" You cheered jumping up and down like a little kid.
Jeremy couldn't help but laugh as he ran to you, pulling you into a hug.
"See I told ya you could do it," Jeremy exclaimed. "With a little more practice, you can be as great as me."
You smiled at his comment pulling him into a kiss. You two were like this for a while before you guys were interrupted.
"Scout!" A female yelled.
You two pulled away to see a female walking towards you guys.
"Oh hey, Miss Pauling." Jeremy greeted her.
You already knew Jeremy was a mercenary, he had told you a month after you guys started dating and you had no problem with his job. So you already knew who Miss Pauling was, but this was the first time you ever have seen her.
"Hey Scout," She greeted, she looked over at you. "You must be (Y/N), Scout never shuts up about you." She held out her hand and gladly shook it. "Sorry to interrupt your date but the administrator has a new mission and she wants the whole team on it."
Jeremy groaned grabbing his bat from the ground. He then walked over to you.
"Sorry, we can't spend the day together as I planned."
"It's okay." You reassured him, it wasn't the first this has happened.
"You know, the administrator has been wanting me to look for a 10th member for the RED Team and I think you would be a great member if you're interested." Miss Pauling suggested to you, handing you a contract.
You looked it over and sure it sounded really dangerous, but it also sounds really cool and the pay is way more than you get at your shitty job.
"I'll join! You got a pen?" You asked.
"Wait, are you sure about this (Y/N)? This job can be pretty dangerous." Jeremy told you as Miss Pauling gave you a pen.
"Yes. It may be dangerous but it sounds fun too! Besides, we'll be able to see each other all the time." You cheered.
"Well, I can't say no to seeing your beautiful face all the time."
Pyro
Phoenix and you were hanging out at your house watching movies when Phoenix got a phone call. Phoenix groaned as he grabbed his phone and look at the number.
"I got to take this, I'll be right back," Phoenix said before getting up and leaving the room.
You continue to watch the movie, it didn't take long before Phoenix came back.
"Miss Pauling has a job for me to do, she going to stop by and give me the details," Phoenix told you before sitting down.
It was no secret to you that Phoenix was a mercenary. You knew something was different about him before he even told you. You didn't have a problem with his job, you actually wish you can work with him but he always changes the subject when you asked. It didn't take long before there was a knock on the door, Phoenix open to greet Miss Pauling.
"Hello, Miss Pauling."
"Hey, Pyro here's everything you need to know about your job," She said handing him some papers. "It's should be an easy job for you, so you'll be done quickly." Miss Pauling look over at you and smiled. "Hey, you're (Y/N), right."
"Yes, it's nice to meet you." You told her.
"Pyro has told me a lot about you."
"Really?" You were surprised you know Phoenix isn't always one for talking a lot.
"Yes, he even told me that you were interested in working as a mercenary for the RED team, if you really want to, there is room for one more member on the team."
You looked at Phoenix completely shocked. "I thought you didn't want me to be a mercenary?"
"I know you really want me to be like me. I may have my worries but I want you to be happy." Phoenix told you grabbing your hand and running his thumb on the top of your hand.
You smiled at him before looking over at Miss Pauling.
"When can I start?"
Medic
You and Ludwig were hangout at a coffee shop not far from your job. You were on your break, so you wanted to spend it with Ludwig. You two were talking about random things, getting lost in each other that you didn't notice the bell on the door ring and someone walking towards you guys.
"Medic."
Ludwig looked away from you and you follow his eyes to see a girl with long black hair and glasses.
"Miss Pauling, vhat are you jou doing here?"
"Spy said you were here, I got a mission for you." She told Ludwig passing him papers and a pen.
"Medic? Mission? Who is this, Ludwig?" You asked completely confused about this whole situation.
"Oh right..." Ludwig started looking over at you nervous. "(Y/N), zhis is Miss Pauling, she is my boss... Medic is my class name, I'm... I'm a mercenary..." Medic told you. You stay quiet for a moment which worried Ludwig. "Jou're not scared of me knowing vhat I am, are jou?"
"No, not at all. It sounds cool." You told him making his worries go away.
"You know..." Miss Pauling cut in. "The RED team can use one more team member. I think you would be perfect for the job if you want to?"
She handed you a contract, you looked it over before you took the pen Medic was holding and signed your name.
"(Y/N), vhat about your other job?" Ludwig asked you.
"Fuck it, I rather spent my time working with you, besides my old job is so boring." You told him.
Ludwig smiled at you grabbing your hand. "Vell then, vith jou by my side, nothing can stop us."
Sniper
You and Mundy were hanging out at the beach since it was a really hot day. You had left to go to the bathroom, when you got back you noticed that Mundy wasn't alone. There was a girl standing next to him, it made you worry and get a bit jealous, but you calmed yourself down and walk over to them.
"Mundy," You said getting his and the girl's attention. "Who is this?"
You tried so hard to hide your jealousy but Mundy could see it. He let out a small laugh and put his arm around your waist. "Don't worry love, this is my boss, Miss Pauling," Mundy told you, calming you down.
Mundy told you about Miss Pauling before it was not that long after you learned he was a mercenary.
"It's nice to meet you, I'm (Y/N)." You greeted her holding out your hand.
Miss Pauling smiled shaking your hand. "I know, I'm actually here to talk to you."
"Me? Really, why?" You asked confused.
"Well, I've been looking for a new member for the RED team and Sniper told me you would be perfect for the job." She explained.
You looked over at Mundy a bit surprised. "You really think I can be a good mercenary?"
"Of course, I do!" He exclaimed. "I think you would be a great sniper like me."
"But I've never shot a sniper rifle before." You told him a bit worried.
"It's not that hard, just think of it like taking one of your pictures. You just aim at your target and then take the shot. Besides, with me as your teacher, you'll be fine."
You thought about it for a moment, it would be nice to see Mundy every day.
"So, what do you say?" Miss Pauling asked holding out a contract and pen.
You look at the contract and smiled as you grabbed it.
"Where do I sign?"
Spy
It was a rainy day out, so you and Jacques were hangout at the mall. You were hangout at the mall. You two had just got out of a shoe shop and were about to go into another store.
"Spy!" A female voice yelled, Jacques stopped and turned towards the voice.
You look over to see a girl with a purple dress with glasses walking toward you two.
"Who is that and why did she call you Spy?" You asked as the girl got closer.
"That is my employer, Miss Pauling. She called me Spy because that is my class as a mercenary."
"Oh, cool." You simply said before Miss Pauling caught up to you two.
"Hello, Miss Pauling."
"Hey, Spy. I'm so glad I found you," She started. "The administrator needs some info on and she wants it done quietly."
Jacques smiled taking the pen and clipboard being handed to him. "Say no more, they will never know I'm there." He told her as he signed the contract. "How is it going with the new guy you hire?" Spy asked handing the clipboard back to Miss Pauling.
"Not good, he called Pyro childish and told him his unicorn was stupid. This, of course, upset Pyro and he set the guy's pants on fire and the guy quit."
Jacques couldn't help but laugh.
"Wait, so does that mean you're hiring?" You asked, getting both of their attention.
"Yes, would you be interested?" Miss Pauling asked with a smile.
"Wait, (Y/N), are you sure about this? My job is very dangerous." Jacques asked.
"I would love to, I'm sure I can handle anything that comes at me." You said. "Besides I need a new job after losing my last job."
Miss Pauling smiled, handing you a contract.
"Welcome to the RED team."
