july 7th
before desert even came out to the dinner table i was gone. i didn't order any because i wanted to leave early to change out of my formal dress. i ran up the stairs to the 7th deck where my room was. as soon as i turned the corner i saw rebecca, jos, and grayson in the hallway
"hey we were looking for you!" rebecca said
"i have to go change! stay here i'll come back in four minutes top" i explain
they nodded their heads
"you look amazing" grayson said
i looked down at my tight black dress and strappy heals
"thanks" i blushed
we stood there for less then a second
"go!" jos yelled
grayson and i both smiled and then i quickly sped away down the hall
i got into my room ripped off my dress and put on a cute crop top and high waisted shorts. before leaving i fixed my makeup and hair a little then grabbed my backpack that i had already packed with everything i needed
i raced back down the hallway to where i told them to stay
"you ready?" rebecca asked
"yes"
we made our way up to the teen club. obviously not to go in but to meet the rest of the group
we were greeted by christian, robert, jenn, nicole, marvin, nick and a few others that wanted to tag along
"everyone got their stuff?" christian asked
we all responded mostly yes
"we couldn't bring it so we pregamed" jenn slurred her words and nicole laughed
"alright let's go"
we all walked to the top deck. it was the front of the ship, there were lounge chairs everywhere and a lot of open space
we put our stuff down and started the party
marvin pulled out his speaker and started playing party music. we took off of backpacks and opened our alcohol and put it into red solo cups
everyone was dancing and laughing
grayson was sitting alone on one of the chairs
"you okay?"
"yeah, i couldn't get alcohol so i'm a little bored" he smiled
i grabbed his hand
"let's go"
i pulled him over to the group and i grabbed my backpack. i took out my bottle of wine and poured him some
"you don't have to do that. i don't want you to waste your alc" he said
"don't be silly, my cousin is twenty one she will get me as much as i need"
i handed him his cup
"thank you octavia" he smiled
"can i be honest with you?"
"of course" i say
"i've never been drunk" he admitted
my jaw dropped
"your kidding right?"
"nope i've only been tipsy"
"well then cheers me" i held my cup out, we clinked cups and took a big gulp
"ready to lose your drunk virginity?" i laughed
he shook his head while laughing. we walked closer to the group and danced with each other. i poured myself multiple more cups of wine and by midnight the whole group was drunk
jenn and christian were booking up, nicole and robert were drunk cuddling, jos was throwing up off the side of the ship. everyone was a mess
"ugh i'm never drinking again!" jos says
"yeah until tomorrow" i laugh
"what time is it?" nicole asked
"midnight"
"oh shit" jenn yelled
both girls got up and grabbed their stuff quickly, some others had to leave too so we said our goodbyes and promised to hangout again tomorrow
i saw grayson standing at the ledge looking over into complete darkness
"you good?" i ask joining him
"totally fine, everything's a little blurry though" he smiled
"they're all leaving. wanna walk with them to the elevators?"
he agreed and our pack walked to the elevator. all of them except grayson, jos, rebecca, and i got in. i waved as the doors closed and laughed at christian falling into the wall
"be safe you drunk idiots!" i yell
i turned around to the last of us
"now what" i scratch my head
"it's almost twelve thirty" jos yawns
"well i'm wide awake and ready to do some crazy shit" rebecca says and i agree
"let's go explore" grayson said
we turned the corner and saw steven from the first night
"hey where you guys going?" he asked
"exploring come with us!" jos said
he tagged along and we snuck onto the tenth floor which is where the arcade and teen club are. we tip toed to the back door of the teen club and grayson opened the door. it was closed and totally empty
we walked in and looked around, nothing exciting. i turned around and noticed rebecca, jos, and steven were gone
holy shit i was alone with grayson for the first time
"where did they go?" i asked
"who cares" he smiled. my stomach felt funny his smile made me melt
"oh shit" i looked up in the left corner of the room and saw the camera
"camera! let's go!" we booked it out of the room and stopped running after we passed johnny rockets
i could hear laughing around the wall so we walked around
i was shocked when i noticed it was rebecca and the rest of the people we lost playing ping pong
"where have you guys been?!" jos asked
"we uh got caught up" grayson laughed
grayson walked over to the ping pong table and began to watch them play. i noticed stairs that go up to the basketball court and i automatically started walking that way. i didn't even tell everyone because i figured they see me going up there. for some reason i really wanted to play
once i got up there i jumped over the door that kept the court looked but noticed no basketballs
shit
"it's not good to wonder off alone you know? you could get lost" i heard grayson behind me. i turned around
"how lost could i get? we're in the middle of the ocean on a ship" i laughed
he came into the court
"no ball?"
"nope"
"where's the rest of them?" i asked
"probably still playing a intense game of ping pong"
"we should go back to them it's getting late" i say
he nodded
"watch this" he started running full speed at the door and hurdled over it
"you do it!" he yelled
"i won't make it" i laugh
"i'll catch you if you don't"
"okay fine"
i started running and then lifted my leg above the door but stopped halfway
he helped me over
"thank you" i smiled
he stayed holding onto my back and we just looked at each other
after a few seconds the gaze fell off
"we should go back now" i said slowly
we walked down the stairs and back to the ping pong tables in comfortable silence
when we got back we noticed everyone was gone "not again" i say
"they probably went to bed it's three am" he said
i looked at my lock screen oh my god where did the time go?
"we have to get up early tomorrow for florida we should go back" i say
we walk to the elevators and take it down to level 7
"see you tomorrow?" he asked before the doors started to close
i smiled "yes"
the doors closed and i turned around to start walking to the hallway with my room
i bit my lip and smiled
this is just the beginning to a wild week

a bitch is back. i cried about this story, i miss my cruise friends and the boy :( but it's okay because i get to relive it in my mind while writing :) love you all
