If I died, I wish there's no regret.
Tzuyu smiled while staring at the blue sky outside the window. Hurricane has over and she knew that the hurricane is not really leave and maybe it will come back again. But the time when she felt peace like this, Tzuyu was more than to be grateful. Tzuyu didn't want any regret anymore in her life. Spending time with her bestfriend and lover, without crying, without remembering sadness and death, without regret, those were her wish. She didn't want to spend the rest of her life with regret by mourning that she will leave her beloved ones. There was no despair anymore.
"You're awake,"Taehyung closed Tzuyu's hospital room and brought a vase with small grape tree inside it. Tzuyu widened her eyes upon seeing what Taehyung brought and immediately she kissed Taehyung back when he already stood beside her bed and leaned down for a kiss.
"To make your room full with your favorite grape scent,"Taehyung smiled sweetly.
"Thank you Taehyung-ah...but I love your scent more,"Tzuyu teased.
"Hey, you're just recovered. Don't seduce me,"
Tzuyu chuckled, feeling Taehyung's hot breath blew against her earlobe with his husky voice. Taehyung pecked Tzuyu's earlobe then their eyes met before their lips were patched with each other. Tzuyu closed her eyes whilst deepened their kiss. Full of happiness but also sorrow. Tzuyu and Taehyung already made agreement everytime Tzuyu experienced or went through her critical time, they have to meet with smile afterwards. They have to act normally and give strength to each other. That's how Tzuyu avoid regret in her life. She didn't want at the rest of her life, Taehyung treated her as if she suffered a severe illness and will die. She didn't want at the rest of her age, she saw Taehyung crying and suffering. She wanted to make love with him, loving him and being loved by him with happiness surrounding them.
"Doctor said you must get hospitalized for a while...you will get chemotherapy,"Taehyung said, trying hard to be like Tzuyu wanted, being the stronghearted Taehyung. Keep steadfast and facing everything with no fear. Because Tzuyu was still alive, still in front of him, still on his arms, she said.
"I told you I don't want to get chemotherapy before our wedding ceremony. I don't want to be ugly when I become a bride,"Tzuyu protested immediately. The smiles on their faces faded away. Taehyung just smiled faintly.
"Just once, it won't affect anything, Baby...you will be my prettiest bride ever in this world,"Taehyung planted a kiss on Tzuyu's forehead. A drop of crystal clear streamed on the corner of Tzuyu's eyes before she shook her head again.
"Just this time. I can make it," Tzuyu said. Heavy. Very heavy for Taehyung to nod his head for his girlfriend. But in other part, the reality that Tzuyu will also suffering after get the chemotherapy because of the side effect is something he couldn't forget as well. And he also was not sure that Tzuyu can hang on during their wedding. But if she didn't get chemotherapy sooner, the disease will quickly conquer Tzuyu's body.
"I don't want to be sick in our wedding day,"Tzuyu said before finally Taehyung nodded his head.
"After we get married, you have to get chemotherapy immediately, understand?"Taehyung asked gently. Tzuyu nodded obediently.
"Taehyung-ah...can we push our wedding faster than it should be?"Tzuyu asked when they were holding hands while enjoying the time. Taehyung was already lying down on the patient bed, right beside Tzuyu as he embraced her side body.
"Hmmm?"Taehyung tilted his head to look at Tzuyu questioningly.
"Promise me don't be a cry baby ok? I feel like I can't hold on until the end of this month,"Tzuyu said toughly, she didn't want to destroy Taehyung. Taehyung felt so hard to breath so suddenly upon hearing Tzuyu's words but he didn't want to see Tzuyu down by showing his weak side.
"I'm so grateful to spend almost all of my life with the person I love the most. Thank you Taehyung, this is the best life for me,"
Taehyung didn't leave Tzuyu's eyes at all, he couldn't hide his pain anymore but Tzuyu just gave him a gentle smile. She caressed Taehyung's hair then rested her head on Taehyung's whilst rubbing his back palm afterwards.
"Even you are willing to grant my wish to be a bride. If there's something I should cry for, then I cry because my life is too perfect. That's because of your perfect love. And I have a great bestfriend like Sana,"
Taehyung kissed Tzuyu's forehead deeply. Holding his tears to not falling down. His heart was storming, he felt proud with Tzuyu but also sad for his own self who will be left by her. Taehyung felt himself is too weak when Tzuyu is the strongest girl ever he ever met.
"I cry because I'm so happy,"the clear crystal drop flowed down from Tzuyu's eyes, failed to be caught by Taehyung who looked up to the ceiling. His grip on her became tighter.
"Don't ask me what you will do after I leave. Because your obligation is to continue your life and bring Chou Tzuyu's name until your last breath. Don't tell story about your suffering wife because of this illness. Tell story about how after the stubborn teenagers' misunderstanding disappeared, we could reunite again. Tell story about how huge my love for you,"
Tzuyu let go off Taehyung's hand and now she changed her position to leaned her body on Taehyung's chest, she looked up to Taehyung whilst cupping his face. The flashes of light from Taehyung and Tzuyu's eyes emitted a thousand words that cannot be verbalized. Tzuyu placed her lips on Taehyung's lips and gently and deeply, she kissed Taehyung for some minutes before she broke the kiss and staring at him again.
"The tough and never give up Kim Taehyung. That's the Kim Taehyung who made me fall in love insanely with him. I don't want during his life, in other world my love fade away,"Tzuyu said earnestly. Taehyung fell silent upon hearing that. Tzuyu delivered an earlier warning after she leave next time. Not a single mercy, Tzuyu will tolerate the broken Taehyung when she leave. Taehyung finally let out a weak laugh.
"You make me speechless, Tzuyu-ah,"
Outside of Tzuyu's room, Sana leaned her back against the wall whilst staring at the white wall in front of her. A bucket of Tzuyu's favorite flower, lily, was on her hand. A thin smile formed on Sana's lips as if she could hear anything that Tzuyu uttered to Taehyung inside the room. But one thing for sure, what Tzuyu told Taehyung, was same with what she had said to Sana. Sana prayed inside her heart for Taehyung to keep strong just like her although she was not sure they can accept Tzuyu's departure one day.
Twenty years long. Too short and to naïve for all of them to appreciate, being grateful or even to blame the life that the God gave them. How Sana wished in their old ages she could talk about anything with Tzuyu while knitting their future grandchild's sweater. Sana couldn't hold her tears upon imagining that impossible dream. But she was more than being grateful, rather than she never met Tzuyu and Yoongi in her life at all, she was grateful that she had met two great persons who can fight their hard life and harsh destiny. She was grateful, because she already spent a little time from all of her twenty years old life with the persons she love. Inculding Jimin.
