AT SHIVAAY'S HOUSE
It was around 6 in the evening. Anika was in her room. She was sitting and thinking about Gauri.
A(in mind)- I don't know, what would have happened at home. How would have papa and swetlana maa reacted? How would have Daksh reacted? And what if they would have done something to Gauri and DM. No..NO... Anika what rubbish are you thinking.. I hope they both are fine. Gauri has asked me to not to call her atleast for two to three days because she is the only one who knows about me and papa will doubt her the most .I am so helpless that I cannot call Gauri and DM also. Oh God! Please keep Gauri and DM safe.
Her chain of thoughts was broken by the roaring sound of Shivaay's bike as he entered the gates of his house.
She smiles and runs towards the door to open it.
Shivaay was about to ring the bell when suddenly the door is opened by our very own Anika who is smiling brightly.
Shivaay smiles seeing it as after years, he is getting the feel of being at home, not just a house.
Shivaay enters the home and asks Anika-
S- How did you got to know that its me?
A-wo...wo...Actually...I heard the sound of your bike and it is already 6 and you told me that you will come back by 6.
S- Hmm.
Shivaay was exhausted so he loosens his tie and sits on the sofa with his head resting at the back of the sofa.
Anika looks at him and runs towards the kitchen. She brings a glass of water and forwards it to Shivaay.
Shivaay senses her presence and looks at her, then at the glass she was holding.
Shivaay takes it from her hand and made her sit beside him.
S- Hey, its ok. You don't have to do all this. You should rest.
A- No. You are doing so much for me, atleast I can do this much for you.
S- No. I am not doing any charity or favour on you. We are friends, right. And friends help each other in problems.
Anika instantly looks at Shivaay when he said that they are friends. Shivaay looks at her and said-
S- We are friends, right??
Anika smiles at him.
A- Yes, we are friends.
Shivaay gets happy after hearing it and smiles to his fullest.
S- Ok I will get freshen up and then we will leave for shopping.
A- OK.
After Shivaay comes out, he asks Anika to go and stand near his bike, he would come after locking the door of the house.
Anika nods and moves towards his bike.
SHIVAAY'S BIKE
Shivaay comes after locking the house and sits on his bike and starts it.
S- Come, Anika. Sit.
Anika was hesitatingly looking at him. After getting no response from Anika, he turns back to look at Anika and notices her expression.
S- What happened, Anika? Come, sit.
A- Wo....Wo....Actually I don't know, how to sit on bike.
Anika says with her eyes tightly closed and with a pout.
Shivaay smiles on her innocence.
S- Its Ok, Anika. Its not a big deal. I will help you.
Anika smiles broadly. Shivaay helps her to sit on the bike .
S- Anika, you can hold me so that you don't fall.
Anika hesitatingly puts hand on Shivaay's shoulder. Shivaay starts the bike and they leave for shopping.
Finally, they reach the market area. Anika steps down from the bike and she was amazed to see the hustle-bustle in the market. Shivaay comes to Anika after parking his bike.
S- Lets go, Anika. Acha, first tell me, what type of clothes you have to buy, I mean, Indian or western because there are different shops for different clothes.
A- I generally wear indian so lets go there.
Shivaay nods and they move towards a shop with indian clothes.
Anika buys some kurtis, some long skirts and some short kurtis. Shivaay was roaming around the shop, when his eyes fall on a red saree which was kept there. He was mesmerised by the saree and imagines Anika wearing it. He immediately buys it for Anika.
At the billing counter, Anika was about to pay the bill, when Shivaay tells her that he will pay the bill. Anika refuses it but Shivaay was adamant. Finally, Anika allows him to pay the bill after many arguments.
After their Shopping was done, Anika was hungry but she hesitated to tell it to Shivaay.
Shivaay saw her hesitation to say something, so he asked her-
S- What happened, Anika? Do you want to say something?
A- Wo...i am little hungry.
S-Bas itni si baat. Look Anika. You don't have to hesitate in telling me something. You can say anything to me freely.
Anika smiles.
S-ok so tell me what type of food you like?
A-i like street food.I have not tasted all the street food but I love pav bhaji, which daima used to bring for me secretly.
S-Ok.Come. Lets go.
They sit on the bike and leave from the market. Shivaay stops the bike at Juhu Chaupati.
Anika was confused that why Shivaay stopped his bike. She looks around and was amazed to see the view in front of her as they were on beach. She then looks at Shivaay who was looking at her with a smile.
A- Shivaay, ye?
S- Anika, actually someone told me that she is very hungry so I thought that we should eat something at chaupati.You know the food here is so good and yummy.
He licks his lips. Anika smiles at his antics.
S- Lets go.
Shivaay looks at the pani poori stall and says-
S- Anika, lets start with pani poori, then we will eat other things.Ok.
Anika nods. They move towards the pani poori stall.
Shivaay orders 2 plates of pani puri.
S- Bhaiyya, 2 plate pani poori dena.
The man gives pani poori plate to Shivaay and Anika. Shivaay starts eating pani poori with so much delight. Anika was just looking at Shivaay. She tries to eat the poori but it breaks in her hand only. Shivaay notices that Anika is not able to eat it.
S-What happened, Anika?
A- Wo... Shivaay. I never ate pani poori, so I don't know how to eat it.
Shivaay looks at her shocked.
S-WHAT? You never ate pani poori.
Anika shook her head in no and looks down. Shivaay notices it.
S- Its ok. I'll make you eat it.
Shivaay takes a poori in his hand and brings it in front of Anika's mouth.
S- Now open your mouth.
Anika opens her mouth and Shivaay feeds her. Like this, they finish their pani poori. Shivaay pays the man and they move ahead.
S- Anika, come lets go and eat pav bhaji also.
Anika nods. They move towards pav bhaji stall and Shivaay orders 2 plates of pav bhaji.
Shivaay first hesitated to eat it but when he saw Anika was eating it with fondness. He also eats it.
After eating pav bhaji, and filling their stomach to their contentment , they move ahead to have a walk on the beach.
While having the walk, Anika sees a ice gola stall and smiles brightly.
A- Shivaay, please I want that gola. Please.
She says to Shivaay while making puppy eyes. Shivaay agrees and they reach the ice gola stall.
A- bhaiyya, ek mix gola. Shivaay, what will you have?
S- Anika, please can you order one for me.
Anika smiles and says-
A- Sure. Bhaiyya, aur ek kaala khatta.
All the while the person was preparing the gola , Anika was clapping and jumping like a child. Shivaay was just admiring her.
The gola vendor gives gola to Anika and Shivaay.
ANIKA'S GOLA
SHIVAAY'S GOLA
They take their gola and sit on the sand seeing sunset.
There was only silence and a serene view surrounding them.
Anika breaks the silence and says-
A- You know Shivaay, when I was small then Daima used to bring a gola for me. She used to hide it from everyone because if Dad sees her then he used to scold her really badly for spoiling me.
Anika smiles sadly.
S- Your mom....I...I...mean..
A- My mom is no more. She died while giving birth to me.
Anika says this with teary eyes. Shivay looks at her and feels bad for her. He puts his palm on her shoulder and soothes her.
S-I am sorry. I didn't know.
A(sadly smiles)- Its OK.
After having their gola and spending some time with each other. They left towards his home.
