Dear diary,
I think I have become numb to him. I don't cry anymore, I don't feel the pain. It's...fading away. I think I'm getting better. I've started eating again. Only gained 2 pounds this month. But that's not bad. The Clearwater's have really helped me. They filled that void that the Cullen's left in my heart. Sue reminds me of Esme.
She has a sweet caring motherly nature to her. I can never repay her for all that she's done for me these past weeks. I can look at our photo without crying. But jut because the pain is fading away, doesn't mean he won't be the love of my life. We had a bond that I will NEVER have with someone else. If there is one thing I can thank him for, it's showing me what real love looks like in a small frame of time.

I sighed a small sigh as I closed my diary before placing it in my drawer. I stood up and opened my curtains letting the sun come through and light up my walls. I walked over to my keyboard and turned it on before beginning to play Can't help falling in love by Elvis. "Wise men say...only fools rush in, but I can't help, falling in love with you" I sang.
I finished the song and turned to see my dad standing in the door way. "I haven't seen you play in years" He said as he crossed his arms. I gave him a small smile as I stood up wrapping my arms around myself. "Yeah. I'm glad I started playing again" I said and he gave me a small smile. "You know, I've noticed that since you've been going to the Clearwater's, you've gotten better" Dad said and I nodded.
"Sue has really helped you know being that motherly figure to me" I said and dad nodded. "Good, good. She's a lovely woman. Harry is really lucky" Dad said looking at his shoes for a moment. "Yep. She really is amazing" I said. "Yeah, anyways I'm going to run some errands but I'll see you later kiddo" Dad said kissing my forehead before leaving.
There was a knock on my door shortly after and Bella stepped into my room. "Hey" I said turning off my keyboard. "Hey umm, I was wondering if you wanted to come for a walk with me in the woods" She said and I turned to her. "The woods?" I asked confused. "Yeah. I - I just want to visit a field that Edward and I used to go to" She said.
"Ok" I said and she nodded her head awkwardly. I walked to my closet and grabbed out a black jacket. I walked out of my room and downstairs where I saw Bella waiting for me. We exited the house and climbed into her truck after locking the front door. Bella started up the truck and pulled out of the driveway driving in the direction of school.
"Jasper and I used to go to the same field sometimes" I said leaning my head against the window. "It was beautiful" Bella said and I nodded. "Definitely" I said. After a while we stopped at the edge of the forestation and climbed out. Bella locked her truck before we made our way into the trees.
"Do you ever like worry about what's out here?" Bella asked me after 5 minutes of silence. "After dating Jasper, nothing really worries me" I said and Bella smiled. "How are things with Jacob?" I asked walking closer to her as we stepped over a fallen tree. "He's changed. Like he cut his hair and has a tattoo and he's just not the Jacob we knew" Bella said shaking her head.
"I'm sorry" I said and she shrugged. "I know it has something to do with Sam Uley. Before he...changed he told me how all his friends changed after hanging around him and Jacob said he would always stare at him as if he was waiting then all of a sudden Jacob is one of them" Bella said giving me a quick glance.
"He doesn't seem that bad of a person" I said shrugging. "You've...met him before?" Bella said giving me a confused look. "Yeah. A few days ago Sue took me to his place to drop off a few things for his fiancé Emily who is her niece" I explained and Bella nodded. "Well I don't like him for what he did to Jacob" She said and I shook my head slightly at her stubbornness.
After a few more minutes of walking we made it to the field. I gasped at what I saw. All the flowers, the grass, the beauty, it was...gone! "Oh my God" I said to myself. "What happened here?" Bella said as we looked around. I squatted down and picked up a dead flower. The wilted petals falling off as I held it in my hand.
I stood back up dropping the dead flower to the ground. I looked across from me and gasped as I saw Laurent standing there staring at us. Bella grasped my hand tightly as we made eye contact with him. "Bella. Elise" He spoke calmly sending chills down my spine. "Laurent" Bella said confused as a breeze blew through the field slightly.
"I didn't expect to find you here" He said after suddenly appearing in front of us causing me to flinch slightly. "I went to visit the Cullen's but their house is empty. I'm surprised they left you two behind. Aren't you two sort of pets of theirs?" He taunted as he circled us like we were prey. "Yeah. You could say that"Bella continued.
"Do the Cullen's visit often?" He asked smugly as a smirk played on his lips. "Lie" A familiar voice echoed and I gasped slightly as a ghost like version of Jasper appeared in front of me. "Yeah, absolutely, all the time" I said casually eyeing him. "Lie better" Jasper persisted. "I'll tell them that you stopped by. We probably shouldn't tell Jasper or Edward cause they're pretty protective" I said.
"But they're far away aren't they?" Laurent continued and I bit my bottom lip. "Why are you here?" Bella sassed and Laurent turned his attention to my sister. "I came as a favour to Victoria" He said looking into the trees. "Victoria?" I questioned turning to Bella. "She asked me to see if you guys were still under the protection of the Cullen's. Victoria feels it's only fair to kill Edward and Jaspers mates given they killed hers. An eye for an eye" Laurent explained.
Images of that night quickly flashed through my mind and I shook my head slightly. "Threaten him" Jasper echoed and I looked at Laurent. "They would know who did it and they would come after you" I said as I tried not to sound scared as I held onto Bella's hand tighter. "I don't think they will. After all how much could you mean to them if they left you here unprotected?" Laurent taunted as he took a few steps towards us.
"Oh Victoria won't be happy about my killing you but I can't help myself, you two are so...mouthwatering" He said as a dark expression crossed his face. "Please don't! I mean you helped us!" Bella pleaded and out of nowhere Laurent appeared in front of us, his cold hand stroking our faces. "No, no, no, shh, shh. Don't be afraid. I'm doing you two a kindness. Victoria plans on killing you both slowly. Painfully. Whereas I'll make it quick. I promise. You will feel nothing" He cooed.
He stepped back and my heart began to race. I'm about to die. Jasper, I love you more than anything I thought to myself before stepping closer to my sister preparing for it to come. In the background I could hear some twigs snapping before something growled. I turned and looked towards the trees. "I don't believe it" Laurent whispered as he too turned to the trees.
The branches rustled as something moved through them and I gasped as I saw a HUGE WOLf step out growling at Laurent. As it got ready to pounce more wolves appeared and my heart began to race. Those animals killing people aren't bears...they're fucking giant wolves! I thought to myself. It lunched forward slightly as it snarled causing me to flinch.
In a flash Laurent disappeared from in front of me, a gust of wind following him. The wolves leapt for him as a rusty coloured one appeared in front of Bella and I staring at us. I stared into it's eyes and recognised them but couldn't remember where. The wolves ran into a tree after him, grass flying in the air.
Laurent turned and hit the black once causing it to come flying towards us landing on the ground with a loud thud. The wolf shook before running back towards him snapping its jaws. I yanked Bella as we ran back into the trees. Within moments we made it back to her truck and got in not bothering with our seatbelts.
The car ride home was filled with out shaky loud breathing as we thought about what we had just witnessed. We made it home and I got out of the car running inside. "Dad! I saw them!" I said as I ran into the kitchen finding dad sitting at the dining table with Harry. "What's the matter?" Dad asked confused as he and Harry stared at me.
"In the woods! They're not bears" Bella said from beside me. "What do you mean in the woods? Girls what the hell were you doing in the woods?" Dad asked, annoyance lacing his voice. "They're wolves! I mean they're like huge wolves!" I replied. "Are you sure about that Elise?" Harry questioned and I turned to him.
"Yeah. We just saw them. They were chasing...something" I said catching myself from mentioning Laurent. "Wolves? You two saw 'em? Alright well Harry? Feel like going hunting?" Dad questioned as Harry cleared his throat. "Get some of your guys together?" Dad continued. "Sure yeah I'll just uhh..." Harry said before exiting the kitchen.
"I should go to the station" Dad said after taking a sip of his beer before standing up. "Dad you should, you should go" Bella said awkwardly. "Can you two just stay in the house?" Dad said before walking away. Bella turned to me and I sighed running my hand through my hair. "What's next? Dragons?" I said sarcastically before walking upstairs to my room.
Alices P.O.V
I gasped as I felt myself fall into a vision.
*Vision*
Elise and Bella were standing in front of something but I couldn't see it. Elise fell to the ground and screamed a blood chilling scream of fear.
*End of vision*
"Alice what did you see?" Esme said looking at me with concern as she placed her book down. "Its Elise! I think she's in danger!" I said looking at her with worry. "What kind of danger?" Rosalie asked walking into the living room with Emmett behind her. "I-I don't know I couldn't see what it was but I saw her lying on the ground screaming for her life" I said confused.
"Could it be Victoria? " Esme said looking up at Carlisle who placed his hand n her shoulder and I shook my head. "No. I don't think it was. I would've seen her" I said. "I will do some study and find out what it could be" Carlisle said before walking into his study. Pierre grabbed my hand and I turned to him.
"Don't tell Jasper about your vision my love. We don't want him doing something he will regret if he thinks Elise is in danger or dead" Pierre said and I nodded.
