"Presentation!" Jace said to Alec. Without thinking, Alec stood up straight with his feet shoulder width apart, and his hands above and behind his head, palms facing his head. He locked eyes with Jace.
"Good! Now forgiveness." Alec immediately dropped to his knees, bent at his waist, stretched his arms out with his palms facing up, and bowed his head.
"Great, and now discipline." Alec stood back up and got into the presentation position, but stretched his arms above his head with his palms facing outward.
"I think you're ready to meet Magnus as his submissive," Jace said.
"Just a couple more days," Alec said, he wasn't sure how he felt about this yet. Magnus had a a bad reputation, but Alec felt drawn to the danger he presented.
Just a few days later, it was time for Alec to go to Magnus'. Izzy helped him choose something to wear, deciding on one of his less faded dark blue sweaters and a pair of black jeans. Alec pulled the sleeves so they covered his hands.
"Well, how do I look?" Alec said nervously.
"Cute, like a submissive," Izzy said with a smile.
Alec gazed at himself in the mirror, gnawing on his bottom lip.
"Alec, don't be nervous," Izzy coaxed, "You can Magnus are meant to be, he'll love you."
"You sure?"
"Yes, absolutely. We do have to leave now, though, or else we'll be late, and we don't want that."

Izzy and Alec arrived at Magnus' five minutes early. Izzy nudged Alec towards the bell ringer. Alec looked for the name "Bane" and pushed the button.
"WHO DARES DISTURB THE HIGH WARLOCK OF BROOKLYN?" a voice boomed over the loudspeaker a few seconds later.
"Um, it's A—Alec," Alec stuttered.
"Oh, Alexander, come right up darling. Is someone with you?"
"Yes, my sister Izzy."
"Ah, Mistress Isabelle, come up too."
Alec and Izzy were buzzed in and went up to Magnus' apartment. Alec awkwardly knocked on the door. It immediately opened, and Magnus stood in the doorway. He truly is gorgeous, Alec thought as he looked Magnus up and down.
"Why, hello Alexander, Isabelle," Magnus smiled, stepped aside, and stretched his arm out to let them into the apartment. "I have dinner waiting for us."
Izzy nudge Alec forward. Alec quickly leaned in and pecked Magnus' cheek.
"Now, Alec, that's not a good kiss," Magnus said. Magnus looked at him and pulled him forward until their lips met. It was only a second or two, just a small peck, but it had Alec blushing like crazy.
"Now, then, let's eat," Magnus said, walking further into the apartment.
"C'mon, Alec," Izzy said through gritted teeth. Alec was still standing in the doorway, shocked at Magnus kissing him.
"I'm— I'm coming," he stuttered. Izzy walked around him, and he followed her to Magnus' dining room. Laid out on the table was a beautiful roast chicken dinner with baked potatoes and buttery green beans. Two candelabras were in the center of the table, giving the whole room a romantic candlelight glow.
"I hope you don't mind," Magnus said as he turned to Izzy. "I wanted to make an impression on Alexander."
"That's okay," Izzy said, awestruck.
"You did this all, for me?" Alec said.
"Well of course, sit, sit!" Magnus beckoned. He pulled out Alec's chair for him, allowing him to sit down.

"Well, I guess I should be going," Izzy said once everyone was finished eating.
"Would you like me to portal you back to the institute?" Magnus offered.
"If you don't mind. I'd appreciate it."
"Absolutely no problem." Magnus placed his glass of wine on the table and opened up a portal.
"I'll see you at the institute tomorrow, Alec," Izzy said.
Alec nodded. Izzy stepped through the portal and disappeared, leaving Alec alone with Magnus.
"Would you like to go sit in the living room?" Magnus asked.
"Sure," Alec said, picking up his own wine glass and followed Magnus to the living room. He sat on the couch next to the warlock.
"We have much to discuss," Magnus smiled flirtatiously.
"Like what?" Alec smiled back.
"Well, we should discuss your preferences of punishments and aftercare."
"Oh, ummm," Alec blushed profusely.
Magnus giggled, "Alexander, you're adorable." Alec thought Magnus might have had too much to drink.
"How about whipping or spanking for punishment?" Magnus asked with a sly smile. Alec watched his eyes darken. There was something dangerous about the warlock, something Alec wasn't totally sure if he liked or not.
"Okay, and I wouldn't mind cuddling or something for aftercare."
Magnus drank the last of his wine, put the glass on the side table and said, "I have something for you."
"What?"
Out of his inner coat pocket, Magnus brought a flat, square box. He handed it to Alec. "Open it," the warlock urged. Alec opened the box. Inside was a collar, almost like a choker. It was black velvet, with two small, delicate chains meeting in the middle, where a small charm sat. The charm was a golden arrow for a crossbow.
"Magnus, I—"
"Everyone else shows ownership of their sub with rings. I wanted to be different, so this is a symbol of our relationship." Magnus took the collar out of the box and put it on Alec. "I want you to wear this anytime you go out, even at the institute. I've already asked Jace and Izzy to make sure you're wearing it."
"And if I don't?"
"I'll have to punish you."
Alec smiled, "I love it, thank you, Magnus."
"Great. Now, could you go wash the dishes?"
"Of course."
"By the way, I forgot to remind you, you're to call me Mister, Master, or Daddy, unless of course, we're out in public. At least until you get more comfortable..." Magnus winked.
Alec smirked, "Thank you for the gift, Master. Of course I will wash the dishes."
"That's better," Magnus smirked.

Magnus let a couple minutes pass before he went out to the kitchen to check Alec's progress. The shadowhunter was drying the last couple dishes. Magnus snapped his fingers and fished for him.
"Why couldn't you just do that in the beginning?" Alec giggled.
"I wanted to see if you would question anything. You did good." He wrapped his arms around Alec and kissed him softly on the lips. "Plus, I wanted a reason to reward you."
Alec smiled and pulled Magnus back in, kissing him again. Magnus let him go for a few seconds, then pulled away.
"Another lesson. I'll let it go this time, but you shouldn't take more than I give you, or I'll have to punish you."
"Fine..." Alec sighed. He kept his arms around Magnus, though.
"I'm tired, let's just go to bed. Do you have to be at the institute tomorrow morning?"
"Sounds good. Yes, I do."
"Great, I can portal you over in the morning, then I can open a portal for you to come home. You can throw any of your stuff through the portal then, too."
Alec agreed, and Magnus led him back to his bedroom, where Magnus changed and lent Alec some clothes. They both fell asleep comfortably in each other's arms.
