"Hurry up 'Caah I don't want to be out all day!" I yelled from in the living into the room.
"Come on now baby, you can't rush a good lookin brotha like me." He yelled back with a smile in his voice.
I laughed and shook my head. Looking down at my beautiful brown skin one year old, Mckenzie Armani Jacksen. Miccah and I daughter was so beautiful she looked like a beautiful babydoll.
Her cheeks were so full and chubby. Skin so smooth like her daddy's. I couldn't help but stare at Armani all the time. She was smiling and clapping her hands soon as Miccah stepped into the living room.
She's such a spoiled daddy's girl, I rolled my eyes at the scene. Micaah came over to us kissing both of our foreheads. Mckenzie was reaching her arms up for him, but he told her wait minute trying to walk away. Of course she started her little whine and he came back and got her while he was laughing.
"Dang KenKen I was coming back ma-ma!" He said to her fixing the M necklace he bought her.
"Wow! That's how we acting Armani? Don't ask me for no cheese puffs later on." I playfully said sticking my tongue at her.
All she did was put her face in 'Caah chest and he said, "It's okay ma-ma. You know daddy will give you anything you want." Then he started putting kisses all over her face and she started laughing with a big smile.
I smiled and rolled my eyes, "Look, you two let's go!"
Miccah stood up like a soldier playfully, "Yes sir ma'am. I mean yes ma'am sir. Shit! What am I supposed to call you?"
Kenzie said, "Ouuu ou ouuuu!" Because we've taught her what bad words are and not to say them at all, even when she's grown.
Honestly we only did that because her first word was 'SHIT!' And guess who she imitated it from? Yes you already know, the big head himself.
Squinting my eyes at him, "Let's. Go. Now." I said through gritted teeth and walked out the door with them behind me.
Once he got her strapped in the car seat, we left and got to the mall. Shopping and eating were the only thing on our agendas today. Before we could get out, 'Caahs phone started the face time ring.
"Yooo my nigga! What you up to?" Miccah said into the video call.
"Bruh! Tired as hell laying down, this camp shit trying to kill my ass. What you doing homie?" Blake said back, of course it was him. I rolled my eyes at Miccah and he saw me.
He smiled at me, "You know doing family tings with my lady & ma-ma."
"Yooo tell my niece I said wassup homie and heyyyy LayLay."
"Hey Blake!" I said dryly. "Can you get off the phone and come on please!"
"Damn what I do to you Laylah!?" Blake asked getting defensive.
"You did nothing, but interrupt my family time BLAKE!" I said with an attitude and got out of the black Audi.
Then I opened the back door to get Mckenzie out and hearing Miccah say, "Bro don't mind her. You know how she is when I give my attention to something else besides her."
I reached to the front and pushed his head, "Nigga don't talk about me!"
"Aye I'll call you later g! Copy!" Then he quickly hung up the phone and walked over and pulled me behind Armani's door while closing it.
"Boy if you don't get off me!" I said trying to push him back, but he just held my arms down by my side and he was in my face.
"Laylah Marie Andersen! If you EVA push my head like that again, I will knock your ass out! Damn my homie was just calling to say wassup. You always think someone trying to take the attention away from you and that's not even the case yo! Lay I love you girl but you be trippin on a nigga, damn chill out sometimes! You know I'm stuck like glue to you baby girl." He kissed my lips so good, all I could do was stare at him.
"Now get ma-ma out so we can go drop this stack or so." He smirked as I turned around and he smacked my ass. Then going to the trunk to get her stroller.
Once everything was good, we walked around the mall and almost going in every store getting at least a bag or two from each one. I was excited because he bought me the green Gucci waist bag I wanted.
After all the shopping we sat at the food court eating the Chinese food. So Miccah took upon himself to reach in my plate with his fork. Now he knows I don't play that shit!
"Miccah Jacksen! What the fuck are you doing!?" I glared at him while he had a dumb smirk on his face.
"Ouuu ou ouuuuu!" Mckenzie said with her lips poked out.
"See what I tell you about cussing in front of ma-ma!?" He said getting serious.
"Nah nigga don't even do that. Keep yourself out my food!" I rolled my eyes.
Then his phone started ringing. I picked the phone up before he could and saw it was Blake, yet again. Ugh! I swiped to ignore the call and I know he was about to say some smart shit.
"Yo fast ass yo. I wasn't even going to answer the shit! Give me my shit Lay!" He gritted through his teeth snatching his phone back.
Then I smirk at him, "I love you 'Caah 'Caah!"
"Umhm, love you too baby girl and KenKen!"
"Luhh you, luhh you, luhh you!" Mckenzie said smiling and clapping.
I kissed her cheek and got on my phone scrolling Instagram. Coming across a picture of Chastity's I click on her page and look at her recent pictures. A thought came in my head, but nah I'm probably just tripping.
I liked the two pictures where she's at her meet and greet in Charlotte in front of some roses, then I like the one where she takes a group picture with her supporters. Honestly I smiled at the pictures because she was beautiful, but then I sighed.
Feeling Miccah look over my shoulder I just lock my phone, "Why not just hit her up baby girl?"
"Because I'm good!"
"That's truth or nah? I'm sure y'all miss each other head asses."
I stood up, "Nah, I doubt it."
He shook his head, "Laylah what do you mean? You just stopped talking to her out the blue. Then she kept trying to get in touch with you, but you just avoided her. Now it's been 2 years since y'all spoken. Shit, you even missed her birthday!"
I looked at him like, really nigga? Then I grab Armani's stroller and push her out with me. He has some mothafuckin nerve coming at me like that about her. I mean I have my reasons why things went the way it did.
Every since she got with her new man, everything was about them and just her in general. She became so self centered that I couldn't take. I mean Austyn is like that too, but I expect that from her ass.
Even when she found out I was pregnant and I was having my baby shower, she didn't even show up to that because she was taking big trips with her man. Honestly I didn't expect her too because I didn't go to her birthday party, but still...
Trust this no hating shit whatsoever. I'm actually happy for her to say the least, but if you want to leave your friends behind for a nigga?

Chastity
After I was all changed in something more comfortable and warmer, I was ready to go. Evan started the drive to my parents home. I'm so excited honestly.
We were 10 minutes in and I looked back to see Maurice singing the songs he learned in daycare. So I decided to record him and I sent it to his father. Once I texted him the video, I immediately got a face time call. Like damn!
I answer and Blake says, "Where's my lil man?"
"The same place he was in that video. I mean you called right after!" I said rolling my eyes.
"Damn Chastity, all I did was ask a question yo!" He sounded annoyed now. Looking at my phone for a minute. Then he said, "So we just going to stare at each other... Or?"
Seeing Evan's head turn over at me I know he had a pissed look on his face. Just shaking my head, I handed Maur the phone.
"We staring at him now?" Evan said low for only him and I to hear.
I looked at him like does he really believe that!? "Why would I stare at him babe?"
"Nah don't babe me right now Chastity. And that's what I'm trying to figure out!" He raised his voice a little.
"Whatever Evan, I'm not about to do this with your jealous ass!" I glared at him.
He looked at me with a raised eyebrow, "Jealous?" Then he chuckled and put a hard face on, gripping the steering wheel harder.
I just rolled my eyes and Maur said, "Here mommy. I'm done talking to daddy, he wants to talk to you."
Maur gave me the phone back and soon as Blake started talking, I ended the call. Sitting my phone on my lap and looking out the window. But my phone dings...
Maurice Dad: I'm sorry Chas! I didn't mean to get you in trouble 😅
Me: if I didn't want to talk to you, what makes you think I want to text you!?
MD: stop being like that Chas. I just wanted to check on you to make sure you're okay.
Me: I'm fine Blake, bye!
MD: you sure? I think you're lying!
Me: ugh!!! why would I be lying!?
MD: idk.... because of your pictures and stuff, you look like you gained some weight
Me: excuse you!!!!
MD: nah Chastity I didn't mean it like that!
MD: I'm just saying when you gain weight you're either depressed or.....
Me: or what bruh?
MD: or pregnant! yo are you pregnant!?
MD: that's exactly how you looked when you were with Maurice.
I just left him on read and put my phone back down on my lap, but I got another text...
MD: damn you must really be pregnant...

To be honest I started to block his number, but that is my son father so I just calmed down and took a breather.
Evan looked over at me with cold eyes, "You and ya mans must be having a good conversation, huh!?"
