Eamon felt like he couldn't breathe.
At first he was in shock at the thought that he just had his first shock, but after the wave of the initial shock, came another. And that was Alec.
Would anyone be able to in his situation? Billy the guy that he's suddenly and he doesn't know why or how but he's starting to have a small crush on him. And then there's Alec, the stupid prick that's been messing with his nerves since day one has caught them alone together in a school library. But, what Eamon didn't understand was why did he look angry?
There was no way that...unless, no that's impossible. There was no way that Alec could have liked him. Eamon slapped himself internally, that was just ridiculous. Billy, who suddenly looked really attractive to Eamon standing there, was staring smugly at Alec. Eamon didn't know why or when it happened, but he thought that it was possible to get over Neil. Ever since Billy came into his life, he could no longer deny the attraction he had for him. It was small, but that's how it started with Neil at first. He still couldn't help but keep the walls up around him though, because...Neil did reject him. And that stung so badly, he remembered the nights he cried himself to sleep for being so stupid about it. And now that Billy is showing signs that he might be interested in Eamon and not Liam...it was too much for his small heart to handle.
But Alec, Alec was something else. He didn't know what to make of him. Eamon looked at Alec's shaking form uneasily. He was about to say something when Billy stepped forward and blocked Eamon's small frame. He was...protecting him? For some reason, the thought of that made Eamon's heart flutter and heat rise up against his cheeks. No one has ever protected hm before, or stood up for him. Not even his good for nothing father.
"Is there a problem?" Billy growled out with clenched fists. It looked like they were about to fight. Oh no, not here not in the library. Why were they going to fight over somebody like him for anyways?
"No, not all." Alec gritted out through clenched teeth. "I just wanted to talk about something with Eamon is all."
"Shoot, go ahead." Billy said with a smirk.
"Alone. Eamon, come with me." It was more of a demand...Eamon felt something in him that said that he had to go to him to avoid more trouble. He tried to walk around Billy but Billy stopped him with a small hand on his shoulder.
"Don't go...." He begged him. Eamon felt rooted to the spot with sparks of indecision swimming in his heart.
"I...I won't be long. I'll be b-back." Billy let out a sigh and let him go respectfully.
Eamon stumbled forward a bit, shaken by the sudden feeling of being away from him but he didn't know why. He walked up to Alec who looked disappointed and walked out of the library with him. Why did he suddenly want to talk to him now at all times? He realized he didn't feel so safe anymore as he did when he was around Billy. Eamon was trudging forward and realized that the hallway was empty, crap! He missed class!
Alec suddenly stopped out of no where, making him bump into him from behind.
"Do you like him?" Alec asked again through gritted teeth, what was him? "W-who?" Eamon asked shakily.
"Don't treat me like I'm an idiot, Eamon." He said softly while turning around and looking down at him.
"Billy, do you like him?" Eamon felt his face turn scarlet at the question. What brought this on? Why was that important? He couldn't bring himself to say anything but he looked down at his shoes anyways.
"I need an answer Eamon, please." Why did he sound so weird all of sudden? Eamon gulped at the awkwardness.
Then, as if a fire started burning through his veins he felt defensive. "What's it to you anyways?" He said. Trying to look at anywhere but him, compared to Alec he felt so small. "What's it to ya' who I like or don't like you've always been a jerk to me as long as I remembered Alec!" Eamon spat. Throughout his little rant, Alec kept a stoic expression on his face.
"You do like him." Alec said through clenched teeth as he stared down at Eamon, who looked even more flustered by the minute. His face was starting to match his hair, and his spitfire demeanor was faltering. But to Alec, this can't be possible, it was not going to happen on his watch.
Alec stepped closer to Eamon until he was face to face with him. "I told you once before to stay way from him Eamon. He's not good news." He warned him lowly, making Eamon slowly blink.
"I can decide that for myself. You can't tell me what to do Alec, I'm nobody to you." Eamon responded while trying to walk away from him but Alec latched onto his shoulder making him cry out. At his sudden cry, a low growl rippled through the air, suddenly making him feel scared.
Eamon and Alec whipped their heads to Billy.
"Let him go!" He barked, why was his body shaking like Alec's was earlier? Alec let out a growl of his own and pushed Eamon behind him.
"You don't want to start what you can't finish rogue!" Alec called out to him. Rogue? What was that? Eamon wanted to ask but was rooted in place. His whole body felt frozen in fear when all of a sudden Billy was no longer Billy anymore....
Billy was a...wolf? Eamon let out the loudest scream as Alec himself started to turn into a wolf and those two started attacking each other. Eamon screamed again and hid in a corner and started shaking, he didn't know what was going on when all of a sudden a figure in front of him cursed...it was Arden? Liam's boyfriend?
Eamon's eyes widened as he saw the wolves tumbling out of the hallway as some of his classmates came out of the room along with the teachers to see what all the screaming was about. When the students noticed the wolves fighting on the lawn some held out their phones as the teachers ushered them back inside. The school was suddenly going into a panic mode. As Arden kneeled in front of him.
"Eamon! Stay with me, we're going to have to get out of here!" He cried out to him, but it was all muffled in Eamon's ears as his eyes stared at the wolves in the distance who were now headed towards the woods. Eamon felt Arden pick him up as a teacher found him.
It was Mr. Smith. "Did he see!?" He cried out to Arden who nodded ruefully as Eamon couldn't stop the pathetic tears from falling. Anybody would be shocked at what he saw right? Right!? What where those things!? How did Alec and...Billy becomes wolves!? There was no way that was possible! His small frame couldn't stop shaking in Arden's hold.
"I'm going to have to take him to the pack house." Arden said, pack? Now people were talking funny. Eamon thought he was going to go crazy.
"Poor thing... he must be in shock." Mr. Smith said as he looked at Eamon in pity. "Those stupid mutts couldn't control their wolves. I knew Eamon was going to find out eventually with those two, but not like this. Mr. Smith, I need you to get somebody to get those wolves under control. I need to take care of Eamon. And find, Liam!" He barked out to him, making Mr. Smith nod his head ruefully.
"You will take care of things here! Understood!?" Arden barked at Mr. Smith who nodded, while looking down at his feet. Why was a teacher suddenly taking order from a student? Eamon's head felt like it was hurting it was all too much to take in at the same time. It wasn't fair to him! What was going on? Was anybody going to clue him in?
He was so lost in his thoughts that he couldn't even tell that he was already strapped into Arden's car and driving off to who knows where. Eamon didn't care anymore his head felt like it was spinning, and he was about to throw up. It took about 10, 15 minutes to get to where ever they were as Arden stopped the car took Eamon out and walked into an unusual looking yard. Everyone around them were in shock when they saw Eamon in Arden's arms. And Eamon couldn't help but notice that almost all of them were guys?
"It's all okay now Eamon, don't worry. We'll get everything sorted out. You're not crazy, those stupid mutts weren't supposed to shift in front of you. We were going to tell you earlier, but...they let their anger get to them." What was he saying? He wasn't crazy? Eamon sniffed as they walked inside a cabin like home went up the stairs and he was placed in a warm room. And on a soft bed.
"This is Billy's room..." Arden said carefully. That, that monster!? Eamon gasped and started shaking all over again as he tried to get up and out of the bed and rush towards the door.
"No, no....we can't have you running of, not after what you saw!"Arden growled as he grabbed Eamon's arm making him whimper as he threw him back on the bed unceremoniously. Arden was trying to keep his cool, but he never once had to deal with a human finding out about the werewolfs before.
"When Liam and Billy get here, they'll take care of you." Eamon shook his head shakily.
"Billy is a monster...." Eamon whispered. "I-I c-can't...." Arden sighed trying not to lose his patience. He knelt down to Eamon's height as he tried to get him to be more reasonable. Until, the door slammed open. He stood up as Eamon started shaking again by the sudden bang. He smelled them before he even looked back.
Billy and Liam, Billy was bare chested his muscles sweating and he was panting hard as he looked around his room frantically. Arden shook his head at him as he noticed that he was only wearing his jeans. Liam walked up to him and Arden instantly wrapped his arms around his beautiful mate.
"Eamon?" Liam asked as Arden nodded toward the shaking, small figure in the middle of the large bed.
"Oh Eamon!" Liam cried out as Eamon pulled his legs up to his chest and tucked his head between them.
"You will need to deal with this, then you and I are going to have a serious talk. Eamon is your responsibility...understood!?" Arden growled out, trying not to explode because he didn't want to traumatize Eamon anymore than he was.
Billy, didn't look phased by it though, he looked like he was expecting it. "He's mine. And I'm not regretting it alpha." Billy said firmly as he stared him down. The alpha sighed heavily and threw his hands up in the air, almost as if he didn't know what to do anymore.
"Does that alpha know that!?" He said as he got into his face. "Your lucky that it was only Eamon that saw! Imagine if it was the entire human population of that highschool you'd be risking our assess only for that BOY!" He barked into his face, Eamon let out a whimper making Billy look to him.
"I'll fight for him if I have to. I don't care...he is mine." The alpha sighed exasperatedly while running his hands through his hair. "What happened to him anyways?" He asked Billy who looked like he was going to shift again.
"He's here, in the compound area, he's trying to get Eamon to go back with him. He refuses to leave without him." He growled lowly.
"Great, more problems..." the alpha hissed, "and all because you couldn't keep it in your pants!" He spat at him but Billy didn't back down.
"You take care of him, and I'll get rid of the alpha. Liam!" Arden cried out, needing his mate to calm him down. Liam jumped up from the bed as he tried to comfort Eamon and rushed to his mate's side.
"We have things to do..." He growled as he walked out of Billy's room and slammed the door shut making Eamon jump a little in Billy's bed.
It was just the two of them now, no turning back.
Eamon couldn't stop shaking in Billy's bed but when he realized that the others were gone he lifted his head a little and dared to look at him. He gulped, and nearly blushed when he realized that he wasn't wearing a shirt. Billy was panting as though he just ran a mile and looked at Eamon cautiously. Billy was a big guy, that looked like he could win any fight but right now at this moment, it looked like he were nervous to Eamon. But he couldn't be more nervous than he was right now.
"Do you...do you mind if I come closer?" He asked carefully with a rasp in his voice, making Eamon nod hesitantly. The only one he could trust right now is him for some reason. Eamon watched as the necklace that hung loosely around his neck swung from side to side made him somehow look....sexy.
Snap out of it Eamon, now was not the time.
"So...we need to talk." He said, making Eamon nod hesitantly as he sat down next to him. Eamon could barely meet his eyes, he doesn't know why but Billy looked really handsome to him all of a sudden. It was making him nervous, he never felt this nervous with Neil before, it was weird.
"Where do I start?" He asked.
Eamon couldn't wait to get some answers.
