it's raining outside
against the window
of my room.
it's light
not heavy.
small taps on my heart
it rains harder
and harder
drumming against my door
Thunder crashes
Lightning thrashes
Tearing its way through my mind
When the storm dies down
nothing is left
but my soaked
broken
soul.
