"i can totally help you get a girl at tony's party tonight" i say, excitedly bouncing on the balls of my feet
"i-i don't know, y/n" steve says, unsure
"oh come on, it won't be that bad"
it's quiet for a moment as i plead him with my eyes, really wanting to help him
"i-i don't want you to be my-my wingman, y/n" steve says, his blue eyes boring into mine
"why not?" i ask, confused and slightly defeated
"because-because i-i already have my eyes set on someone"
"then go and get her" i encourage
"if you say so" he whispers before leaning down and capturing my lips in his
i kiss back after the initial shock wears off, loving the feeling of his soft lips on mine
i wrap my arms around his neck, letting my fingers tangle themselves in his dusty blonde hair as his big hands rest on my waist, squeezing gently
we both pull away, breathless
"i-i'm sorry if you didn't want me to-"
i cut him off by leaning up to peck his lips
"if i didn't want it, i wouldn't have kissed back"
heat rushes to his cheeks as he nods with a big cheesy grin on his face
"do you- maybe- possibly- want to be mine?" he asks, nervously
"of course, steve"
he smiles widely, picking me up in his arms and twirling me around
i laugh loudly as he joins in, looking up at me as i look down at him
"well, well, well what do we have here?" tony asks, strutting over to us
i tear my eyes away from steve, looking at a smirking tony
steve's cheeks grow red as he slowly places me back on the ground
"y/n did you know that steve, here, has a major crush?" tony asks
i smile, leaning my head on steve's chest, wrapping my arms around his torso
"no, i didn't know" i say, playing along
tony's eyes light up as his smile grows
"and the person he has a crush on is in this room" he continues
i gasp, pulling away from steve, a fake shocked expression on my face
"holy shit, stony is a thing" i scream
tony's face falls "what? no, it's-"
he's cut off by steve bursting out laughing
i join in, clutching my stomach as i double over
"what's happening? why are you too laughing so hard?" tony asks, completely confused
i calm down, wiping some tears "i was just messing with you"
"yeah, i confessed and y/n is mine" steve says, wrapping his arms around me from behind
i smile wholeheartedly as i lean my head back onto his chest
tony's eyes dance at the sight of us, smiling widely
"that's awesome. congrats" he says before practically skipping away to undoubtedly tell the others
a few minutes later, what sounds like a heard of elephants, comes closer
"here they come" steve whispers
"mhm" i hum, in agreement
"i told you to be bold" bucky says, patting steve on the shoulder after we explained how it had happened
"looks like you are the real wingman" i say
bucky laughs "have been since day one"
i smile at how cute their relationship is before i feel myself getting lifted up from behind, being held in two strong arms
i look up and see thor frowning down at me
"why are you sad?" i ask
"now i can't hang out with you"
i giggle "yes you can"
he gives me a confused look "but you are steve's now"
i laugh "that doesn't mean you can't hang out with me anymore"
"then what does it mean?"
"put me down and i'll show you" i whisper, so only he can hear
he nods, setting me back on the ground
i walk over to steve, everyone watching curiously
i grab a fistful of his shirt, pulling his lips down to mine
"oh i get it" thor says
i giggle into the kiss, pulling away to see steve blushing wildly
i kiss his rosy cheeks before hugging him
he hugs me back, dipping his head into the crook of my neck
i already can't get enough of steve rogers
