I look up at him with my bright blue eyes. He growls and tackles me to the ground. He strattles me and brings his claw up to slice my neck.
I say "Wait, Liam. Think about us. Who I am. You know me. I'm your best friends. Remember what we have. You don't want to hurt me."
He looks at me and climbs off of me. He starts breathing heavy and shaking. I slowly get up and walk to him. It looks like he's having a panic attack. I put a hand on his shoulder causing him to look at me.
I say "Liam! Breath."
He growl and I look him in the eyes. I crash my lips on his. He pulls back and looks at me.
He says "How did you know?"
I say "I used to have panic attacks when it all started. Stress attacks. Holding your breath. Its the cure."
He says "I uhmm, well I just kissed my best friend. I'm kinda confused."
I say "I shouldn't have. I uhm I gotta go."
I don't know what I just did. Its like it wasn't even me. I would never kiss Liam. Hes like a brother and now something inside me did it. I have to tell Derek, I can't just jeep it from him. I walk out and see Scott giving me a glare.
He says "You kissed him?"
I say "It wasn't me. I mean it was me but I don't know what happened. Its like it really wasn't me."
He says "It was your wolf. I did the same thing."
I say "Right well I gotta go. You know tell Derek."
He says "No! I mean we need to talk."
I say "Okay, then spill it."
He says "Malia's real father is Peter. Derek's uncle. Just don't tell her."
I say "Okay. I'm gonna go."
He says "Wait. "
I say "No, I really gotta go."
I walk out to my car and start driving to Derek's. Something is up with Scott. Its like he doesn't want me to go there. I pull up into the driveway and here 3 heartbeats. Dereks, The hunter, and Malia. I walk up to the door and open it. I walk in and see it. Malia and Derek making out. I look at it with tears in my eyes. I hold them back and clear my voice.
The hunter goes "Oh, your in for it."
I say "What the heck Derek! That's your cousin! Thats my best friend. I'm out of here, finis what you started. But when you want to come running back, I'm just gonna say I told you so."
Malia says "Chill, you guys aren't married."
I say "Oh yeah, that's right. You don't know. Let's just put it this way. Peter is your father. Bye. Oh and i kissed Liam, but it was nothing like this."
I turn and walk out of the house and straight off to Liams. I pull into his drive way and get out. I slowly walk to the door and knock. His mom answers and frowns.
She says "Where's Liam? I got a text saying he was with you?"
I say "Oh, uhm. He wanted me to come get something while he talked to a friend."
She nods and opens the door for me. I run upstairs to his room ands grab a shirt, that smells like him. Liam wouldn't have tested his mom before he came to me. Liam was kidnapped. I put it over my arm and grab his charger to his phone. Just so I have something to say to Mrs.Dunbar. I walk back downstairs and hug her. She smiles and nods. I walk out and to my car. I drive off into the woods. I park at the edge and look around. I get out of my car and take his shirt up to my nose. I breath in real deep and close my eyes. I look up when I catch his sent. I run to it. Following it. I end up at a well. I look in it and see Liam.
I say "Liam!? What happened?"
He says "Emily! Go, get out of here. Before he comes back."
I reach down into the well and grab his arm. A sharp pain feels my leg and something flips me over the well causing me to fall in. I grunt in pain as I fall in the water. I make sure Liam is out before I push myself back. I look up and see Garrett. I look up at him with pleading eyes.
I say "Garrett? You don't have to do this. Some of us can't help what we are. Some of us were born into this."
He yells "Emily, stop wasting your breath. I'm in this for the money."
I say "You would kill me for money? I thought we were friends. Just the other day you couldn't kill me. Like you said I'm one of y'all. I'm a hunter as well."
He says "Its what violet wants."
I say "What happened to her?"
He says "She got caught."
He walks off and I look at Liam. He's in pain. I grab his arm and he looks at me.
I say "Close your eyes."
He says "Why?"
I say "Just do it."
He closes his eyes and I close mine. I feel his pain start running up my arm. He sighs in relief and I pull away. I sit in the water and breath heavy.
He says "What did you do?"
I say "I took some of your pain away and gave it to myself."
He says "What why would you do that!?"
I say "Because I have nothing to live for Liam! I don't have family or friends. All I have is you and if its between me or you, I want you to live a happy life."
He says "What about Malia, Scott, Stiles, Lydia, what about Derek, my mom. They all love you. I can't do this without you."
I say "I walked in on Malia and Derek making out. Yeah I kissed you but there's was going to lead to something else."
He says "Then what about Scott, stiles, Lydia, and my mom. They still love you."
I stare at him. I take his hand in mine and hold it. My eyes slowly start to go down. He yell snaps them back open.
I say "Liam, I love you. Your my best friend. Take care of everyone. im-im sorry."
My eyes close and everything goes black.
~Liam's POV ~
Her eyes close and her body falls over.
I scream " No "!
The scream turns into a roar. I look down and fall to her side and put her body in my arms. She's not dead. I can hear her heart beat. A tear rolls down my cheek. My best friend might not make it out alive tonight because she wanted to save me. She cares about me more than herself and I never saw that. I knew she cared about me but not like she really does. I push the wet hair out of her face and sigh. I look up and see a shadow.
I yell "Help! Help me please!? Somebody!"
Scott pokes his head out of the opening.
He says "Liam what's wrong!? What happened! Who is that?"
I say "Its Emily. Scott she's not moving. She took my pain, she won't last much longer. We needs to get her help."
He pushes a rope down and I tie it around her waist. I pull on it letting him know to pull it up. She starts rising and I start climbing the wall. I get to the top an push her over the wall. Scotts hand grabs mine and pulls me up. I stare at her limp body that's slowly breathing up and down. Scott pulls me into a hug.
He says "Its okay, everything is okay."
She starts coughing. We run over to her and she has blood coming out her mouth.
I say "We need to hurry cause whatever is wrong with her, is gonna happen to me soon. "
He says "Okay, grab her. We will take care of you both."
I pick her up and we both start running. We end up at the animal clinic. I'm not gonna ask questions, if it makes us better then its great. We storm in and I set her on a table. a African american walks in and asks what happened.
I say "I don't know. He stabs us and she took my pain then passed out. She was hit on her leg and me on my chest."
I turn and see Derek and Stiles. I turn and point at him.
"If your retarded self would have stayed loyal then she wouldn't be here. Oh but no, you and Malia go off and make-out."
Stiles says "You and who?!"
Derek says "Nothing."
Stiles yells "I heard him perfectly fine! You made out with my girlfriend!?"
"Guys!"
Derek says "Stiles, i-"
"Guys!"
All heads turn to the man hovering over Emily.
He says " Someone hold her down."
I walk over and hold her down. He starts working again and she starts moving trying to get up. Her fangs are out and her eyes are glowing red.
I say "Your hurting her!"
He says "No Liam! Keep her still. Or she's gonna die!"
I hold her until he taps my shoulder. I lift up and she's passed out. Derek walks over and picks her up. He takes her out and I stare at him.
The man says "Okay Liam your turn."
