Kara sighed deeply "I'm confused"
Another robot ran out from behind Kara, The hero Lifted her fist and knocked down the metal with crash.
"About what?" Winn replied Over the speaker
"Am I straight?" The blond Pushed her hair out her face
"Whu-, Well you are a mess in front of Lena"
Kara scoffed "I am not a mess in front of her, pff"
"Please, ask anyone" The genius replied.
"Yeah But I'm confused, I guess I need time"

I groan, Why every time i see Kara I stutter, I never stutter, do I like her, That can't be
I finish up the paper work, Jess said her goodbyes
My eyes turned to the window, it was a cloudy night. No stars... Stars that's where Kara is from, She had her own sun, her own Planet, People yet she chooses to help us.
Why would someone have so much compassion for people who weren't her own
A crash disturbs my thoughts, I look up, A man holds a gun at me.

My Hands shake, The gun falls to the ground, Finally coming to my sense I pick up my phone and dial Alex's number, and I walk over to the Bleeding Hero
I kneel down beside her and offer a weak smile
Alex picks up "Miss Luthor what can i-"
I cut her off "I need a medic at my office now, Kara's been shot"
Alex hangs up, I put my phone down and look at Kara
I prop her head on my knees
"Thanks for coming" I say softly
She groans and smiles
I look down at her wound, her abdomen was shot, Take off my blazer, I rip a piece of material
"Ok Kara this is going to hurt"
She gives me a weak thumbs up
I wrap it around her waist, and tie it tight, she cries out.
Once I finish, I look at her face. Gosh she is beautiful without her Glasses
The blond disturbs my thoughts "Hey...I realised something" She groans

"I always thought It would be ok if I died, I thought I have done everything, But now I realise something, I have missed something"
I try not to cry Infront of her "Can I help you with it?"
She smiles "Yes"
She struggles to sit up, I help her, once our eyes meet, She leans in and our lips connect, I kiss back
She pulls away, her body fails her as she falls back down "I'm good to go, But if I make it, Would you like to go on a date with me" I nod

She looses consciousness in front of me, I hold her closer and cry, my tears stain her suit
The doors burst open, Alex falls down to my side
"Lena you need to let her go, we need to get on the stretcher"
I nod, A couple men lift Kara up and take her away
I fall into Alex arms
"Please save her" I beg
"We will do everything we can"
Week later
I went into the DEO, and signed some paper work.
I changed into the uniform they provided, It was a like Alex's
I went over to the Medical ward
I bumped into someone, I look up to find Sam "hey Lena, how ya keeping?" the ex villainess asks
"Been better, How's ruby doing with her new mom?" I ask, trying to stay joyful, Which was proving difficult In the moment
"Ruby loves Alex, anyway I assume your here to see Kara"
I nod, She hugs me, I stay stiff, she walks away
I only hug Kara
I finally get the Ward
I find Kara, sitting on the side of her bed
I hold the tears, I gently knock on the glass
She turns around, She had her glasses on, she smiled brightly and groaned in pain
"So have you considered my offer?" She asks
"Yeah, pick me up tomorrow at 8"
