I sat in bed after taking a quick shower and changing into my pjs. I smiled to myself as I replayed the events of today for probably the hundredth time. It was all so unbelievable. Now I need those pinches to wake me up if it were all a dream before I fall too deep.
I was about to grab my phone and tell Taylor all about it considering she missed out on the events, when my phone began ringing in my hand and I laughed as I saw her name as the caller ID. I picked up the phone and was met with Taylor screaming in excitement.
"OMG! YOU MET HIM?! HOW HOT WAS HE? WHAT DID HE SAY? WHAT DID YOU TALK ABOUT? WHAT WAS YOUR REACTION? DID YOU KISS? DID HE ASK YOU OUT? TELL ME EVERYTHING!!!!"
"CALM DOWN AND I'LL TELL YOU!" I couldn't help but laugh.
"Okay fine. Spill."
"Yes, I met him, in the most unexpected way may I say. He was very hot and good looking indeed. He seemed as shocked as I was. We talked about random stuff, really. Andrew left us early so we just walked around in the park. No, we didn't kiss but it was a close one. Well he kinda did ask me out but not on a date, ya know. We're going to the movies tomorrow. Taking it slow and all that. He did promise me a date soon though," I smiled as I remembered our last conversation while he was walking me back home.
*Flashback*
"I know it's still way too early for us to start dating so that is why I want to take things slow with you. I want it to work out. I want to treat you right. So how about we go hang out at the movies tomorrow and maybe have some dinner? It's not a date because I mean what kind of first date would going to the movies be. But anyways, I promise I'll be taking you out on many dates but I really just want to see you tomorrow so if you don't want to-"
I cut him off because he started rambling nervously, which I found very cute, "Yes, I would love to hang out with you at the movies tomorrow."
The smile he gave me after took my breath away. If he keeps this up, I really hope I can manage to take it slow with him.
"Really? Great! I'll come pick you up at like 6? Then we can go have dinner if you want of course."
"I'd like that."
"Oh and one more thing. Hand me your phone so I can enter my number. It's about time we started chatting like normal people," he chuckled.
I smiled and handed him my phone as he gave me his. We exchanged numbers then looked up at each other. I couldn't help it so I stepped closer and wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him for the first time. I smiled against his skin as he snaked his own arms around my waist and held me close. His embrace felt very protective as he wrapped his big arms around my frail figure. I sunk into the warmth of his body and closed my eyes. The world around me melted away as I squeezed him gently, not wanting the moment to end.
I pulled away first causing him to pout cutely and me to awe. I was so close to giving in and hugging him again.
"If you want another hug now, you'll get none tomorrow," I said teasingly.
"Fine fine. You win."
"Well, until then," I smiled and started to walk up to my front door.
"Goodnight, Jasmine."
"Goodnight, Elijah."
*end of flashback*
"JASMINE????"
I snapped out of the wonderul memory, remembering that I was on the phone with a very impatient Taylor.
"What??"
"Did you hear anything I said?"
"No..."
"Was lover boy on your mind?" Her voice instantly shifted from annoyed to amused.
"Goodnight, Taylor."
"Fine, but I better get more details at school tomorrow."
"Mhm."

I woke up in the most amazing mood ever. You all know why. I got changed and went to have breakfast with my parents. I was going to tell them all about Elijah today. Let's hope I end up stepping out of the house with the same happy expression I woke up with.
"Goodmorning!" I said happily and kissed them both on the cheek.
"Well someone is in a happy mood," my father chuckled.
"I am!" I grinned and helped my mom set up the table for breakfast.
"And why is that? I didn't even need to drag you out of bed today," my mom smiled as we all sat down at the table.
"Well, I kind of have something to tell you both..." And with that being said, I spilled everything, minus unnecessary detail (like the flirting in chat, almost kiss and hug... oops). When I was done, there was an uncomfortable silence before one of them spoke. It was my mom who broke the silence.
"I am honestly not a big fan of having you talk to strangers online but since you ended up meeting him and he turned out to be a friend of Andrew's, I'm less worried. You know we have to meet him though right?"
I instantly nodded, glad that she was okay with it, "Well, we're kind of going to the movies today. You can meet him then."
"Perfect." That was my father now talking. God help Elijah tonight. I should warn him before he comes.
"Well then I'm off to school. Bye," I grinned and kissed their cheeks again then left.

Thankfully today I didn't zone out. Even though I was in a happy mood and couldn't think about anything but tonight, I was still focused. I should be, because I had a couple of pop quizzes.
During lunch break, Taylor and Andrew both bombered me with questions.
I had PE the last two hours so that ended up well then I was on my way home. Taylor wanted to come over so she can annoy me some more about my "date". She made up with her mom so she was in a good mood again. That made me even happier.
"Tay, for the last time it's not a date!" I groaned as i plopped on my bed while she rummaged through my closet.
"Oh shut up. It is. Now what should you wear... hmm."
"We're going to the movies! Choosing an outfit doesn't need all that thinking! I'm just gonna wear some jeans and a shirt. Chill."
"A jeans and a shirt?! Oh gosh." She face palmed and I threw a pillow at her, you know, to help her out.
"I could pull them off so shush. You can do my hair. Happy?"
"And makeup!"
"I don't wear makeup!" I groaned.
"Something light. Pretty pleaseeeee!!"
"Fine. But if you go overboard, I'll remove everything."
"Deal."
After that being settled, I texted Elijah telling him to be ready for a meeting with my parents, probably Taylor as well, and he didn't seem to mind. Then we did our homework since it was still too early to get ready.
At like 4, Taylor insisted I start getting changed since she said my hair and make-up needed time, which I doubted, but I complied anyways. She also ended up making me wear shorts instead of jeans, with a black tanktop and a plaid shirt which i might just wrap around my waist and some black converse to match. She braided my hair and put on the lightest makeup, thankfully.
We finished a couple minutes before 6 pm and just sat there chatting, or in other words, I just sat there while Taylor kept giving me remarks of how to act tonight and what to say. Gosh this girl...
We got up the minute we heard the doorbell ring and I was pretty sure my dad was the one who opened the door.
Poor Elijah. Let the talk begin...

I'm so so happy with all the support I've gotten for this book to the point where I just have to update everyday! I'm so close to updating twice a day! I'm that excited!

I'm also gonna be working on my second book which will hopefully be out by the end of the week! Can't wait :)
