Isabella's POV
My mother and the other ladies looked at me in shock but they knew that I needed this. I needed to be the one to finish this monster of mine off.
"They took him to the cells!" Sav said jumping towards me to pull me with her.
We ran out of my room then down the stairs towards the kitchen. The guards or someone must have broken up the party because everyone was gone now.
The cells were just through another door and down some steps to the basement. My heart was racing when I heard the screams. I knew they were from Alex.
Sav was holding my hand and I squeezed hers hard. My anxiety was peaking but I fucking had to do this.
Sav and I walked up to the door to the cells and the two guards that were blocking the door off wouldn't let us in.
"MOVE OR ELSE ILL SHOOT BOTH OF YOU!" Sav yelled.
They both looked at each other and moved over for us to pass. We walked through the doors and I was hit with a smelly mixture of dampness and iron.
We followed the screams till we found all of the men hovering over Alex who was tied to a wooden chair in the middle of the cell. He was being pummeled by my dad. I could tell all of the men had their turns doing malicious things to him. They were all covered in blood. Especially my dad and Niko. They had blood all over themselves and their eyes were dark with rage.
"STOP!" I yelled causing my dad to stop and all of the men to look up at me.
"WHAT?!" Niko and my father both growled at the same time.
I walked towards them and turned around facing Alex. He was beaten badly but he was still conscious.
"Hahaha! She'll never stop loving and protecting me." He laughed sinisterly
"No. You're wrong..." I said "I'm not stopping them so you can live. I'm stopping them because I need to be the one to finish tho.." my voice was shaking. I leaned i to his ear "I fucking HATE you!" I whispered but said it loudly enough for everyone to hear.
"Isabella. No. I don't want this to haunt you." My father said.
"NO dad! You taught me to be a fucking killer and to defend myself. I've let this coward beat on me! I let him take control of my life! He killed my fucking baby!" I shouted.
I heard my father gasp and growl with rage. He didn't know I was once pregnant with Alex's baby. I kept that from him and my mother. But I couldn't keep the weight on my shoulders any longer. It needed to be said.
"Haha! What? She's not the little angel you thought she was? Huh Antonio?" Alex barely got out
"Don't you address my father! Why don't you tell him how you used to hit me!" I punched him in the jaw. "How you would tie me up!" I punched his cheek. "How you would rape me when you were drunk!" I kneed him in the balls. "How the next day, every time without fail, you would tell me you didn't feel bad and would do it over and over again!" I punched him in the teeth knocking out his front tooth. "And how it wasn't considered rape since you were my boyfriend!" I was fueled with rage. I couldn't stop hitting him.
Suddenly I felt someone grab me from behind and hold me to their chest.
"Calm down Bella." Niko whispered into my ear.
"Give me your gun!" I almost yelled at him. He wouldn't budge. I got out of his arms as Sav took her 9mm glock from the back of her pants and handed it tome quickly and laughed..
"Shoot him!" she yelled.
I leaned into Alex's face and said "and you're wrong about something else too. I DONT love you anymore. My heart belongs to someone else!Someone who deserves a fucking chance! Someone who deserves my love and devotion. Through the ups and down!..... Fuck you."
Then I shot off the gun.
Sav and Luca cheered like the crazy asses they are and hugged me. I loved watching the gun holes in his head and chest spill blood. I finally felt fucking FREE!
I handed Sav her gun and turned to look at the guys. Vincent Donatello and Enzo had the proudest looks on their faces. My father looked happy and relieved that it was finally done. He lunged forward and hugged me placing a kiss on my forehead.
"Are you ok" he asked while holding me.
"Yes daddy. Couldn't be better." I smiled when he let me go to look me in the eyes. Then my eyes went to Niko.
I couldn't help but to run to his arms and kiss him. I didn't care that we were in front of everyone. He kissed me back hard. I jumped into his arms and he held me to his body. I broke the kiss and wrapped my arms around him and held on tight.
He hugged me back then walked me out of the cells. I rested my head into his neck and took in the warmth from his body. I inhaled his scent and it relaxed me. He made me feel at ease and safe.
I could hear everyone following us. Sav was giggling and her father Vincent was asking questions.
"So are they a thing?" He asked.
"Yup. Pretty much." I could hear the smile in her voice.
"I don't know how I feel about this." I heard my dad say.
Me and Niko couldn't help but to laugh when we heard him say that. The rest of the family stopped in the family room where our mothers were sitting. They watched me and Niko walk by them with me in his arms holding him tight. We could hear them quietly screech to each other in excitement from our show of affection towards each other.
I told Niko he could put me down and I'd walk up he steps but he refused and walked me up and to his... no... our bedroom.
He sat me down on the bed and kissed me. Then he went to the bathroom and started the shower. He came back out to me and held his hand out for me to grab, which I did. He helped me undress then had me get into the warm water.
He squeezed some shampoo into his hands and gently washed my blood stained hair for me. He was so soft and sensual with his every touch to my head. After rinsing my hair he used my loofah and body wash and washed every inch of my being.
When he was done washing me he helped me out of the shower and draped a soft fluffy towel around my body and looked me into my eyes.
"I love you Isabella." He said.
"I love you too Niko." I said back
We kissed passionately then he led me to the room and handed me one of his shirts to sleep in. I always love sleeping in his clothed because they are big and comfy on me. Plus they smell like him and that makes me feel safe. He also handed me a pair of my long black socks so I wouldn't get cold at night.
He knows how I get chilly at night.
After I was dressed for bed Niko pulled back the covers so I could lay down. Once I was in he pulled the covers back up to my shoulders and I sank into the plush comfortable feel of his bed and blankets.
"I'll be right back my love" he whispered after kissing my head.
"Promise you'll come back and hold me all night? I need you." I responded.
"Always Bella. I'll be with you every night for the rest of our lives." I knew there was truth behind his words.
"I love you Niko."
"I love you too Isabella."
Before Niko could exit the room I said "happy birthday Babe."
He chuckled and said thank you while grabbing the door handle.
Niko flicked off the lights on his way out and shut the door behind him. We both knew someone had to explain to our parents (mostly my dad) what was going on between us two. I was happy he was the one doing it though because I had enough excitement for one night.
It was finally over. Alex was finally out of my life forever. And I was the one who finished it.. I went through everything he's ever done to me in my head and told myself I had validation for my actions of killing him tonight. I fell asleep feeling complete and at ease.
