"Congratulations for UCLA." Hayden said, sitting on a couch.
"Thanks." Liam answered, sitting on another couch in front of her.
"I got accepted too." Mason added proudly, sitting next to him. "Corey too."
Corey smiled at him.
"All three of us."
Hayden looked at Ava, sitting next to the boys.
"Her name is Ava." Mason said, introducing her.
Hayden stared at her eyes, fascinated.
"Are you coming back to live here ?" Liam asked.
She looked at him.
"No, I... I came back to apologize."
"Apologize for breaking up with me ?"
At the same moment, Liam's mother appeared with a tray of fruit juice in her hands. They all grabed their drinks and she left. Hayden cleared her throat.
"Can we be alone ?" She asked.
"I don't want to talk about our relationship." Liam retorted. "Oh, wait, we barely have a relationship together anymore."
Mason, Corey and Ava sipped their drinks uncomfortably.
"Liam." Hayden said, clenching her jaw.
"I think I'm gonna go." Mason said, getting up. "I have to vacuum my house."
He left. Corey used his powers to disappear. Hayden's eyes widened and she immediately looked at Ava.
"She knows about us." Liam informed. "She's a shapeshifter."
"Oh." Hayden replied. "Okay."
She paused.
"Great."
"Amazing conversation." Ava said, putting down her empty glass on the coffee table. "Have fun together."
She walked towards the stairs.
"By the way, Hayden, that's right ?" She added, turning around. "Nice to meet you."

"Why are we here ?" Meagan asked, stopping next to the Nemeton.
"I said I was going to help you." Nolan replied. "Help you face your fear."
Meagan swallowed as she was staring at the trunk of the old tree.
"I don't think it will work." She said.
"Trust me."
Nolan sat on a rock. Meagan followed him.
"We'll wait here until it's dark around us." He said. "You'll see that nothing will happen to you this time."
He took Meagan's hand in his.
"I'm with you."

"So, your friend lives here ?" Hayden asked, curious.
"I thought we were supposed to talk about us." Liam retorted.
Hayden sighed.
"Liam, I'm sorry."
He rolled his eyes.
"Really." She added. "It wasn't against you. I had to."
"Are you kidding me ?" He exclaimed, angry. "Did you ever think about how I would feel ? You left and you didn't even wonder if I would be okay with that !"
"My sister was sick and I was worried about her. I panicked."
She paused.
"If you don't want my apologies, I'll understand. I just wanted you to hear them."
He remained silent. She looked disappointed.
"I'm gonna go too." Hayden said, getting up.
Liam stood up.
"Goodbye." She said, looking at him for a long time.
She approached him hesitantly.
"Goodbye, Hayden."
She stopped with a sad expression on her face.
She looked up before leaving and noticed Ava standing on the stairs.

Night was falling on the forest. Nolan and Meagan were both still sitting on the rock. They had spent the rest of their day talking. Meagan was now more comfortable with him. Nolan liked spending time with her and wasn't trying to hide the fact that he was slighly attracted to her.
"It's almost time." He said, looking at the sky.
He turned towaeds her.
"Are you ready ?" He asked.
Meagan nodded. They waited a few moments before seeing small sparks twirling in the air.
Fireflies.
Meagan watched with curiosity. A firefly approached her and she reached out her hands to touch it. Nolan smiled.
She didn't fear insects anymore.
"I did it !" She exclaimed while laughing.
They looked at each other. Fireflies were flying around them.
They kissed each other.

"Scott ?" Malia asked, her head resting against his chest.
"Mmh ?" He replied, half asleep.
They were both lying under blankets.
"Do you want me to leave ?"
With her fingers, she was tracing circles on his skin.
"What do you mean ?" He stammered.
"You know what I mean."
She paused.
"Paris." She added. "Do you want me to go ?"
Scott was staring at his bedroom ceiling while thinking.
"If you want to go, you should do it."
She leaned over him. He put his hands on her bare hips.
"I'll miss you." She said.
"I'll miss you too." He said, thoughtfully.
"I love you."
He looked at her for a long time.
"Me too." He replied.
"What ?"
"What ?" He asked, confused.
"You're thinking about something."
"Mmh ?"
"Is it because of Kira ? Because she came back ? I mean, she was your ex girlfriend."
"No. Everything is fine."
"No, it's because of her, right ? You can tell me."
"There's nothing between us anymore." Scott said. "I'm with you now."
"That's all ?"
"Yes."
Malia lay down on the bed with a sad look on her face. She looked at the ceiling.
"She told me everything, Scott."
She paused.
"I know about the kiss."
Scott stiffened.
"Kira may be your ex, but she's a good friend. Now I don't know if you're a good boyfriend anymore."
She turned to the side. Tears ran down her cheeks.

Parrish drove down the road on his way home from work. He paid attention for a moment to his radio to increase the volume.
Someone appeared on the road.
He braked suddenly and noticed the presence of an old woman. She didn't move. Through the darkness, she looked like Dracula in her long black cloak. Slowly, Parrish grabbed his gun inside his holster. He got out of the car.
"Beacon Hills County Sheriff's Department !" He exclaimed. "Put your hands up !"
The old woman stayed still. Parrish approached her cautiously.
"I asked you to put your hands up !" He repeated.
She ran away. He ran behind her.
"Who are you ?" He asked, shouting. "Show me your face !"
The old woman turned around and projected a magnetic field on Parrish who was propelled several meters away. He landed in a row of garbage cans.
