Kol and I sit down as we see Rebekah walk through the door with her heels in her hand, I laugh knowing she got laid.
Kol chuckles "well, well, well there's our girl" he lifts me up sitting me down before standing in her way of walking in the sitting room as I laugh "get out of my way, Kol," she says glaring down at him.
Nik looks up from his drawing at them "out all night. what a scandal. I trust you did better than that commoner." he pauses "Matt, was it?"
Rebekah glares at him"if you don't shut your mouth, the next thing to come out of it will be your teeth." I growl at her standing up beside Kol "Bekah, don't threaten him." she nods looking over at Niklaus " don't start, Nik." she says frowning at him, Nik smirks at her "I didn't say anything."
Kol grabs me by my waist and sits me on his lap as he sits down on the couch "I'm bored." he sighs dramatically " our sister is a strumpet, but at least she's having fun." Kol states I look down at him frowning "so I'm boring?" he looks at me smiling "no my love, in fact, we had so much fun this morning." I smirk at him before turning back to Nik and Rebekah "we need entertainment" I say smirking.
Nik looks up from his drawing and says " what are you waiting for? go on. have at it." he looks back down at his drawing while smirking before I add "it's no fun to go alone. join us, Nik." I say whining slightly.
Kol looks at Nik slightly pouting and I kiss his bottom lip "in a minute, darling." I nod as he looks back over to Nik "It's the least you could do after sticking a dagger in my heart." he states and Nik looks back at Kol with a guilty look in his eyes before finally saying "ok.why not? I didn't have nearly enough to drink enough to drink last night, what with you trying to murder Rebekah's date." Nik says standing up to put his sketchbook away.
I stand up then Kol gets up and looks down at me before quickly pecking my lips, Rebekah smartly remarks "yes, please go. this house has enough men rolling around in it." she says frowning "yeah like I'm a man" I say rolling my eyes before Kol defends me saying "Just like you, Bekah" she tries to throw her shoe at us "good riddance, both of you" but we run out of the house before it can hit us.
We all decide on going to the grill because no one could decide on where else to go, as soon as we walk on I listen on this couple's conversation
"maybe you were compelled to forget." the dark-haired woman says
"wait. you think the killer's a... vampire?" he says looking around cautiously
"there are no other suspects." she states confidently "it's the obvious conclusion."
We then walk up beside them as Nik says "Ah, come on now." I roll my eyes at him and say "let's not go blaming the new family in town just 'cause you've got yourselves a killer at large" I say firmly and the man glares at me and I glare back at him, Kol grabs me by the waist and kisses my forehead to calm me down.
Nik glares at the man "Don't mind us." " my brother, his girl, and I are just here to let off some steam. right, Kol?" he asks
Kol stares at the girl too long for my liking "right." he states and I roll my eyes at him and turn away from him as I get some bourbon and chug the bottle not caring about the burn at the back of my throat, Kol looks to me "what's wrong?" I shake my head "nothing's wrong." he sighs "darling, I like to intimidate people so when I was staring at that women it was nothing more than intimidation" I nod understanding
We've been sitting in the same spot all day and it's now night time, my butt is starting to cramp so I had to stand in front of Kol has his arm is around me as I look up I see the girl that Nik took to the ball walk in and I know they are planning something.
Nik notices her "Caroline." she turns to him immediately frowning at him "oh. it's you." Kol and I glare at her "Join us for a drink?" he states and Kol lifts up his glass, she glares at him "don't look at him like that" I say firmly to her, she flinches back before turning back towards Nik "mm, I'd rather die of thirst, but thanks" I give her a slight aneurysm before saying " I can make that happen" she leaves quickly and I look to see Nik glaring at me and I shrug "I'm bored I need to kill someone" Kol nods agreeing with me.
He then smirks "isn't she stunning?" I frown and say "not in the slightest."
Kol smirks at me before saying "she certainly looks good walking away from you" he chuckles and Nik frowns at Kol "I'll take that as a challenge." he states before following Caroline I look at Kol "they're planning something ." I state
I activate my mind reading rune with my stele and I look to the man who was sitting next to us earlier and read his mind before finding my answer I smile and look around frantically for Kol and I can't find him when my mate mark starts to glow bright and takes me to where he is.
I see Kol laying on the ground and I see the man who I now learned his name is Alaric, Stefan, and Damon looking at Kol's body and I snap Stefan's neck with a flick of my wrist same with Alaric I take the dagger out of Kol and I quicken the process with a quick spell.
"don't you ever scare me like that again." Damon tries to snap my neck but I make him cough up blood and I see Nik come down the steps to where we are. Just as Nik was about to attack Damon, Elijah yells "LEAVE HIM!" he comes down the steps slowly "we still need him, Niklaus." Nik looks at Elijah " what did mother do?"Elijah sighs " what did she do, Elijah?" as Stefan finally wakes up Elijah comes down the steps "you tell me where the witches are, or I'll have my sister kill Elena right now." he says holding up his phone which I personally think is stupid because if that was me I would snatch it out of his hand and crush it.
Damon looks up at the clock "you told me we had until after 9:00" he says frowning at Elijah
I walk out of the dark with Kol following me " I'm sure Rebekah would be more than happy to start her work early." I say smirking " they're at the witches house"
we speed there and just in time "my sons, come forward. you're not supposed to be here."
I laugh bitterly "well, that sucks." Kol grabs my hand pulling me next to him, Finn puts his hand in front of Esther "stay behind me" "it's ok. they can't enter." Kol tries to step forward but it wouldn't work " that's lovely. we're stuck out here while the favorite son plays sacrificial lamb, not that it matters because I'm not linked he smirks at his mother." she glares over at me "how did you know my plan?" I smirk "that's not of your business witch" she rolls her eyes before looking at Kol who finishes " how pathetic you are, Finn"
"Be quiet, Kol" Esther starts "your brother knows virtue you cannot even imagine." I look to Kol as Elijah says " whatever you think of us, killing your own children would be an atrocity." she frowns at us " my only regret is that I did not let you die a thousand years ago." I roll my eyes " I should've killed you a thousand years ago." she glares at me
Nik gets annoyed " enough. al this talk is boring me." "end this now mother or I'll send you back to hell," Nik says glaring at her
Esther finishes what she's saying " For a thousand years, I've been forced to watch you, felt the pain of every victim, suffered while you shed blood. Even you, Elijah, with your claim to nobility you're no better. all of you... you're a curse to this earth stretched out over generations. if you've come to plead for your life... I'm sorry you've wasted your time." I smirk at her
"but we aren't"
"No" she mumbles as Kol and I smirk "sisters, do not abandon me!"
the fire flares up Kol, Elijah, and Niklaus back up but I stand there and step into the flames without getting harmed. I look to Esther and snap her neck and Finn speeds off with her and I groan before making the fire go down. I make eye contact with Kol and he speeds off without me and I frown before speeding off to the Mikaelson mansion before going to Kol's room only for it to be locked.
"Kol? what's going on?" he sighs on the other side of the door
"you deserve better than me Kira, someone who doesn't come with all this drama"
I start to tear up "NO! you don't get to this to me! I only want you! you promised you wouldn't leave me, KOL!"
"I have to, Kira."
"No, you don't you're choosing to leave me!! "
"please... " I say my voice breaking " I want to be with you."
Kol slowly opens the door and looks at me with tearful eyes "are you sure you can handle my family's drama?" I nod my head "yes I'm sure.. we're both broken but, we can fix each other" he nods at me before placing his lips on mine before pulling me into a hug " that means we're leaving town together" I nod my head and say "I'd travel anywhere with you." he tightens his hug "thank you for not giving up on me."
