"brandon you really gotta fix this" nick stared at his phone before darting his eyes at his bandmate who sat in distress
"seriously how do our fans hate us cause you can't choose one girl?" edwin shook at the boy who read through the comments on kimberlee's recent post
"it ain't that hard to choose charlotte or kimberlee it's a no brainer" zion sung walking past the boy holding his empty bowl of cereal to fill it up once again
"it wasn't even supposed to go like this" brandon let out a deep breath as he ran his fingers through his hair making zion furrow his brows in confusion
"so what exactly was it supposed to go like?" zion asked curiously carrying his bowl back to the living room where his game of fortnite sat paused
"charlotte just needed a shoulder to cry on i didn't expect her to do all that" brandon tried to explain confused himself on how all of this was happening when he was just trying to be a good person
"you mean y'all having sex cause um team work definitely makes the dream work" austin scoffed as the three boys laughed while brandon darted his eyes at austin who shrugged
brandon picked up a pillow throwing it at austin's head letting out a groan of annoyance, kimberlee wasn't answering, charlotte has no intentions on moving on and he definitely made that harder on her last night.
"well you better do something because we miss kimberlee and kaitlin is on a prettymuch strike until her sister feels better" edwin folded his arms and pursed his lips looking at brandon who dropped his head into his hands
"she won't even answer my texts" brandon sat back tossing his phone in defeat looking at the boys who scratched their heads looking away
"hey kimmy" austin yelled smiling at his phone making brandon look over in his direction confused how he got through to her
"hi austin i miss you so much" kimberlee's sweet voice came from out of austin's phone before the sound of kisses were heard
"hey what about us!" nick yelled rushing over to the camera's view to get a glance at kimberlee
"how can i forget my boys" kimberlee's voice cracked and followed with a sniffle making brandon concerned as he watched the expressions on each boys face for an answer
"are you crying?" edwin crept over to the phone looking at brandon rolling his eyes before looking back at the phone. brandon eased over to austin's phone looking at kimberlee who was visibly crying trying to wipe her tears away but only smearing the dark mascara she always wore, her cheeks were red from crying and it made brandon's heart hurt
"ignore me my emotions are all over the place like a pregnant woman except mine is a case of mislead feelings" kimberlee gave the boys a small smile while catching another tear
brandon couldn't believe how she still looked so beautiful with no makeup no nothing but her puffy eyes gave away that he really did fuck up making him feel so low, he wanted to hold her and tell her everything was going to be better but who was he kidding this was all his fault.
"so come see us! you know a little time with prettymuch makes everything better" zion yelled not breaking his attention away from the screen
"oh i highly beg to differ!" kimberlee let out a honest laugh shaking her head
her pretty little laugh could make your heart skip a million beats, !brandon look over at the screen once again as she spoke his heart sank making him come to realization of his feelings for her, she made him feel different like they were in a movie and they were at the best part.
she was the best part.
"is brandon there?" kimberlee asked making his heart pound in my chest
"nah he's been locked in his room for days i don't think he'll be coming out anytime soon" zion lied not even moving an inch making brandon believe his fans when they said all men do is lie
"really? he has the audacity to be locked up in his room i should be hibernating" kimberlee scoffed and rolled her eyes while trying to hold an angry expression
"you miss him shut up" zion teased once again not taking his eyes off the screen
"no i do not" kimberlee's voice blared through the phone making each boy nervous at how long it would take before she blew up on zion but zion didn't really care
"yes you do, you can't even lie straight if you didn't you wouldn't even be crying, you'd be here giving him your ass to kiss cause you know that's what bad bitches who don't care about boys do right?" zion shrugged before fist pumping on his victory in fortnite
"who the fuck raised you?" kimberlee yelled making the boys laugh at her reaction to what zion had said
brandon couldn't help but smile at her annoyance with zion it's almost as if she was there, "come on just come over and talk to brandon sometimes communication is the key to the solution" edwin suggested hoping it would get her to come over
for a moment there was silence then a loud screech of tires outside of the boys house, "i was already riding around trying to figure out if i should throw a brick through his window but i guess i can do that in person" kimberlee let out a big smile before she hung up the phone
the boys looked at brandon with nervous looks on their faces as there was a knock on the door, "well i ain't opening it if she has a brick" nick threw his hands up in surrender
austin rolled his eyes at the four and got up opening the door for kimberlee who walked in holding a brick immediately making brandon step back and look away but what she had on made him forget the look of anger she had on her face.
"kimberlee where is your clothes?" edwin quickly threw a shirt at the girl who didn't even bother to catch it as her attention focused on brandon
"i went for a run before i picked up my car from the shop and then started riding around so excuse the attire" the girl looked between edwin and brandon as she spoke waving the brick back and forth
kimberlee finally lowered her arms folding them before she stood in front of brandon giving him her full attention after ignoring him, "you got five seconds to tell me why i shouldn't throw this brick at you" kimberlee looked at her watch before looking back at brandon
"because uh um kimberlee please" brandon fumbled to find the right words making kimberlee more mad than what she had woken up that morning, without hesitation the girl chucked the brick making him duck to avoid being hit watching as it went straight into the television making zion turn around and look at him and kimberlee shaking his head.
"yo you always pick the crazy ones" zion threw his control and picked up his bowl of cereal he had failed to finish
"now brandon explain yourself" kimberlee picked up nick's bat getting a good grip on it before focusing her attention back on the boy
there was no more sadness in her red eyes, just anger and disappointment two things brandon would kill to take away from her right now.
"listen kimberlee i shouldn't have played with your emotions like that knowing that charlotte was still in the picture and it wasn't my intention to hurt you i didn't know all of that would lead to that i'm so sorry you gotta believe me" brandon finally spit out the words she had been dying to hear and while it was everything she wanted it, it didn't feel like enough
brandon finally felt soft as the look on her face softened a bit as she looked at him before dropping the bat as the sounds of deep breaths being let out were heard, it only lasted a few seconds before kimberlee began to push brandon with anger scrambling to find the words to describe how she felt .
"you don't get to play with my feelings brandon!" kimberlee yelled with each push as brandon looked at girl in defeat knowing he couldn't fix how she felt
"you don't get to say sorry and expect me to say okay!" kimberlee's voice cracked once again while she looked at brandon
"you also don't get to fuck your ex girlfriend and expect me to be okay with you after" kimberlee spat the angry words catching a tear that had fell
"h-how did you know that?" brandon looked at the four boys who looked away, unless someone snitched she couldn't possibly know
"you're kidding right with that huge ass hickey you gave her i never want you to ever touch me again" kimberlee scoffed shaking her head as she backed away from brandon
"kimberlee please can we talk" brandon stepped forward trying to catch her but she only pushed him away again looking at him in disgust
"fuck you and charlotte! hope you have a happy life in hell!" kimberlee yelled once more letting her anger win and connecting her fist to brandon's jaw without thinking twice leaving the boy stunned
"damn!" zion covered his mouth in shock as brandon held his jaw that felt like it had been hit by an actual grown man
"woah i definitely did not expect that" austin nervously sat down looking at the door just in case kimberlee wasn't finished and needed a round two
"you really just got punched by a five foot one girl" zion let out a loud laugh holding his stomach as he laughed at brandon who didn't find a thing funny about what had just happened
"she's really mad i've never seen anyone that mad" nick shook his head in amazement at what had went down a few moments ago before he realized everyone was looking at him with a certain face
"in my defense i thought someone was trying to hurt y'all i'm sorry" nick held his hands up before letting out a small laugh
and that's exactly what kimberlee thought, that brandon was out to hurt her but she didn't even know how much he wanted to mend her broken heart.
brandon had to get it together quick and fast.
