" oooo girl who is this giving you flowers"
Me and Marley were coming back from lunch to find some mystery flowers on my desk.
They were white lily flowers, my favorites.

I open it up to read it.

I sat the letter down on my table.
" Nia is there something you need to tell me"
I looked at her with confused look as well.
" I don't even know who this is honestly"
The only thought came to my head was Ashton.
Once upon of time he came with flowers but they weren't Lily's .
" it's probably Ashton" I said worried.
Marley looked at my face and shook her head quickly.
" n-no I don't think so, what about Rock, you two did kiss remember"
That thought by itself would always send butterfly through my stomach.
" he don't seem like the romantic type though"
Although I did tell him about the love I have for these types of flowers.
He probably doesn't even remember
" them be the ones to surprise you" she said winking her eye at me.
I push the flowers to the side and continue to work.

" so what do you plan on wearing"
I haven't even thought about that.

" ok see what I'm not going to do is have you looking a fool" Marley said shaking her head.

Nia's friend, Marley just text me that they were making their way to the nail shop.
I had it all planned how I want this first date of ours to go.
There were going to be plenty to come, but I personally wanted this to be special.
" dude you better wanna make this special got me carrying this heavy ass table"
" nigga you took the elevator relax and plus I'm paying ya ass"
" yea you right" Kane said knocking the sweat from his forehead.
It was a hot summer here in the city.
I let him take a break once everything was almost done.

" oh my goddd you look like a freaking goddesss" Marley said
I stared at myself in the mirror. I was completely shock with my new look.
After stopping by the nail salon Marley made me go to New York & Company to find something.
There was this black dress that stop above my knee that was laced on the arms and show just a little cleavage.
I hope I wasn't over doin it.
" you look extremely beautiful Nia who ever this mystery guy is going to faint" she said messing with my hair.
She wand curled it.
" com'on girl I don't want you to being late"
As Marley drove I start to get a little nervous.
For some reason I kept thinking this was Ashton but I was trying to push that to the back of my head.
" we here girl" Marley said stopping.
I got out looking at the luxurious hotel in front of me.
I was a little confused.
" let me know who it is ok and don't be afraid to use that taser I gave you" Marley reminded me.
" I won't" I said getting out her car.
I watch her leave out of my sight.
" excuse me are you Nia" this butler said to me.
" y-yes that's me"
" Okay I was told by a young man to lead you to the rooftop"

" um ok" I said unsure.
He held his arm out for me to take as we walked inside the hotel.
We got the elevator going all the way up.
" I'm assuming this is your boyfriend" he asked
" no sir I actually don't know who it is"
The butler looked in shock.
" Well Miss you are in for a treat"
The sound of the elevator "ding" alerted me.
The door of the elevator open into a beautiful scene.
White lights surrounded the whole rooftop.
Along with red rose petals that lead the way to a table that was beautifully decorated.
" Mr. Jennings your date has arrived"
It was Rock.
I almost felled back from the surprise.
He stared at me as I did the same to him.
" thank you" he said walking up to us and dapping the butler.
Once he left it was just me and him.
" you like it?"
My eyes started to swell.
" I-I love this"
" Nia don't cry" he said laughing a little.
Oh my god his pearly whites.
This man looked sooooo good.
" I can't help it this is beautiful"
He grabbed my hand walking me to the table that was lit with candles.
" what made you do this" I said fascinated with every detail.
" to show you how special you are to me" he said with all seriousness
I looked at him as he grabbed both of my hands into his licking his lips.
Oh God help me.
" I wanna be more than friends Nia, you like the woman I wished for when I was a teenager. I know I'm far from perfect but I am hoping you can give us a chance"
I felt so stuck.
" All this time I kept telling myself that he's not into me but I guess I was wrong"
" Rock I would love to give us a chance, they way you took care of me I would be crazy not to"
A smile graced his face.

He guided me to sit in his lap. I was so afraid I was going to hurt him.
It felt soothing as he rubbed my lower back close to my butt.

I decided to be bold. I took both of my hands grabbing his face to come closer to mines.
They were sooo soft and juicy just like I remember.
He rubbed down my back as he continue to kiss me.
I pulled back getting an ideal in my head.
" what's wrong"
" lets finish this at home"
I can tell he was taking back.

He swoops me up making me giggle all the way to the elevator.
