Kai
"Would you like to learn to control your power?" Asks Kai flopping down beside you on the couch.
"But didn't I already control it?" You ask throwing your legs over Kai's.
"You didn't control it properly." Kai says standing up, and offering his hand to you.
"Then teach me the way, master." You smirk accepting his hand.
"Never say that again." Kai says and glares at you.
You laugh as Kai leads you out to the training yard, and calls the others to join him.
You've been training for around 2 hours and you haven't been able to control your powers correctly.
Cole sends Kai flying backwards and he hits the ground hard.
"Back!" You say and the scene starts reversing.
Kai walks over to you and throws his arm around your shoulder.
"You can kind of control your power. You just need to learn to control it without saying the action."
"I've been trying, Kai! How do I do it?"
"Concentrate really hard. Think about everything that happened right before, and focus on setting it back that way. Don't worry this will take time." Kai says walking back to the others to continue.
"I'll show you, 'this will take time'." You say preparing yourself.
Lloyd shoots his energy ball at Kai, and it hits him, knocking him to the ground in pain.
"Kai!" You grunt and concentrate on reversing it.
It starts reversing, and you scream, "Lloyd's energy ball!"
Kai quickly looks that way and dodges the energy ball.
"Woo! Way to go, (Y/N)! Let's do that a few more times, then we'll work on stopping time. You can also choose who it doesn't affect, but we'll work on that later." Kai says running up and hugging you.
You do that a few more times, then you move on to stopping time. You badly want to prove Kai wrong and not affect him when you stop time.
All the others jump at Kai, and you concentrate on stopping time, except for Kai. Everything stops, except Kai, and he turns around and looks at you with a smile plastered across his face. He runs over and picks you up.
"I'm so proud of you!! You did it!!" Kai shouts and kisses you passionately.
"Thanks!"
"I think you've got the hang of this. Let's go retire to my room." Kai was wiggling his eyebrows.
"In your dreams flame brain!" You giggle and peck him on the lips.
You two begin to walk into the monastery when you remember something.
"Guess I gotta start time again." You giggle and resume it.
"Oof!" You hear the others say as they collide with each other.
Both you and Kai laugh as the others groan trying to get up.
"That's my girl!" Kai laughs and guides you inside.
Jay
You are sitting in Jay's workshop while he's working on another one of his projects. You're curious how your powers work, and want to learn more.
"Hey Jay."
"Hey what?" He says looking up at you.
"How do my powers work exactly?"
"Well, Sweetie, it's kind of complicated to explain, but all I can tell you is that you concentrate on it, and it happens."
"So if I concentrate on making it bright, it should happen?" You say walking over to him.
"Well... theoretically, yes, but it's more complicated than that."
"Well do you want to help me, so it's not complicated?" You say putting your hand on his chest.
"Yeah, let's work on that." He says blushing and leads you to his room.
"Ok, so... help."
"Channel your power, and concentrate. After we get that far we'll get to the harder stuff. I'll be standing right here in case it gets out of control and I need to help bring you out of it."
"Ok, I got this." You say confidently.
You concentrate on making the room bright, and it starts turning. Jay winces and covers his eyes, and you feel guilty.
"How do I not hurt you?" You say as the lighting returns to normal.
"You have to concentrate on not affecting me, but that's ok for now. That's a little more complicated, so just keep doing what you're doing."
You try it again, and hear Jay wince as the room gets brighter. You try not to affect Jay, and see him uncover his eyes.
"Oh my gosh! (Y/N) you did it! I'm so proud of you!" Jay says picking you up and twirling you around.
He starts kissing your face all over, and you giggle at his cuteness.
"So, does darkness work the same way? Or will it work a different way?"
"It should work the same way, and with as quick as you picked up brightness, you'll pick up darkness even quicker!" Jay says hugging you.
You start to concentrate on the darkness, and see it start spreading across the room. Jay doesn't say anything, but you can tell by his body language that he can't see. You concentrate on giving Jay night vision, until you finally see Jay's face light up with excitement.
"(Y/N)! You did it! I'm so proud of you! You learned to control your powers really fast, and I don't think anyone's did it that fast! That gives me bragging rights, right?" Jay exclaims smothering your face in kisses.
"I guess that gives you bragging rights... but maybe we should pull a couple of pranks first." You giggle and walk out.
"That's my girl!" Jay says and follows.
Zane
You are sitting in the game room playing video games when Zane walks in and stands in front of you.
"Zane move!" You say trying to lean around Zane so you can see
"No, (Y/N). I am tired of you sitting around doing nothing."
"Excuse me!" You say throwing the controller down, and stand up glaring at him.
"Allow me to rephrase my statement." Zane says blushing. "I meant that you have an amazing power you need to learn to control, and you have made no effort to learn how to control it. I would like it if you were to learn how to properly control your powers, so you can get out of a predicament if need be." Zane says putting his arms around you, and embracing you in a hug.
"Fine, lets go." You say and peck him on the cheek.
"You do not mind if I ask the others to assist us in harnessing your powers do you?" Zane asks
"No, that's fine. I'm going to have to learn how to turn into other people besides you, right." You chuckle and Zane stares at you blankly.
"Correct. Sometimes it would not be wise to clone me in a predicament, but someone else."
"I know Zane." You sigh
Zane gets the others, and you all go outside to do some training. You start morphing into the others, but everyone can tell you apart. You keep forgetting the little details, but when you morph into Zane, no one can tell you two apart.
"I don't get it! Why can't I get this?!" You say frustrated with yourself.
"(Y/N), it is alright. You need to look deeper. Do they have any scars or birthmarks visible? And what does their voice actually sound like? Do they have a tear in their clothes, or noticeable stitching? Focus harder, and it will come." Zane says comforting you.
"I'm gonna try again." You say trying to focus on every little detail of Kai's face, and body. (Not in that way ya perverts!)
You concentrate on morphing and soon turn into Kai.
"Woah! I don't even see a difference!" Jay says running up to both of you.
"Sad you can't tell us apart." You say in Kai's voice.
"You must be Kai then." He says turning to you.
You focus on him, and morph into Jay.
"Wrong!" You say in Jay's voice.
"That is so cool! Someone morphed into me and there's hardly a difference! Can you tell a difference?" Jay asks running up to Lloyd.
"Not really. She even has your stupid eye brow thing." Lloyd chuckles.
"Hey!"
"Not cool Lloyd!" You say in Lloyd's voice after morphing into him.
Lloyd looks at you, both excited and scared at the same time.
"Needless to say we can't trust anybody." Cole says smirking.
You morph into Cole and say, "Not even yourself." In his voice.
After practicing morphing into items, and other living things, you soon return to being yourself.
"I am most pleased with you controlling your power. I am proud of you, and I could not be happier." Zane says hugging you.
Cole
"Can I talk to the three of you alone?" Sensei asks you, Cole, and Lloyd.
"Yeah." The three of you say in unison.
Sensei leads you to his study, and you all have a seat, waiting to see what Sensei says.
"We need to discuss your powers young niece."
"Please!" You say rambunctiously sitting on the edge of your seat.
"You basically have all the same powers as Lloyd, but everything is a bit stronger. Your energy ball will be more powerful and bright, and whichever elemental master is in your near vicinity, that element will be really strong, practically invincible. And you can also combine powers, so for example, if you want to combine fire and lightning, then when you shoot the fire ball, lightning will shoot out from it, and where ever the lightning strikes, little fire balls will happen. And you can do that with any elemental power you possess, they will just all work a little differently. You also have no weakness to vengestone, unlike the others."
"What?" You say.
"I didn't even know that was possible!" Says Lloyd
"That is so cool!" Cole says jumping up and hugging you.
"Guess you better get training." Sensei Says and shoos the three of you put.
Lloyd takes you out to train, while Cole gets the others. You explain what Sensei told you to the others, they're shocked and agree to help.
"Let's start simple with just your energy ball." Lloyd says walking over to you.
"I kind of remember how I formed my energy ball. Should I do that again?"
"Go for it." Says Lloyd putting a reassuring hand on your shoulder.
You start concentrating on making it, and soon, you see the bright ball forming between your hands.
"Good job sis. Now let it fly!" Lloyd says
You let it go, but fly backwards, knocking both you and Lloyd to the ground, as your energy ball destroys the target.
"Lloyd are you ok?" You ask turning over to check on him.
"(Y/N) are you ok?" Cole asks rushing over.
"I'm fine." Both you and Lloyd say.
Cole gives you a hand, and helps you up as Lloyd wobbly stand to his feet.
"Let's try that again." Cole says
"But I don't want to hurt anyone." You say as Lloyd wobbly walks over to you.
"You won't, because you'll know how to do it properly this time." Lloyd says as he grabs his head in pain.
"Lloyd! I thought you said you were ok!"
"I'm fine. But I think Cole will have to help you now. He helped me control my powers back when I first discovered I had them. I trust he will help you control your powers properly." Lloyd says as he walks over and sits down against the wall.
"Alright (Y/N) let's try this again. This time establish a base before you let it fly." Cole says
So you create your energy ball again, and watch it form. Cole gets behind you and helps you establish your base, then tells you to go. You successfully launch your ball and destroy the target.
"I did it!" You say jumping into Cole's arms.
"Yes you did! Now we have to get to the other elements!" Cole says hugging you tighter.
"How do I get the other elements then?"
"You concentrate on them. Whichever one you want to use, you concentrate on using it, and it should happen."
"Alrighty then! Let's do this!" You say starting to concentrate.
Soon fire forms in your hand, and Kai stares at you jealously. When he lights his fire, it's not as big or bright as yours.
"So, how do I combine elements then. Is it the same way?"
"I would assume so." Cole says rubbing the back of his neck.
You release the fireball, and when it hits the target, there's a large explosion, and large lightening bolts shoot off of it. Where the lightning touches, sparks fly off several feet, and it starts to freeze a thick layer of ice. After the ice freezes to a certain point, thick walls of earth start forming and boxing all of you in.
"What?" Jay asks walking up to the wall of earth.
"I'll just punch this down." Cole says walking up and doing it.
It doesn't fall down, and Cole grabs his hand in pain. "Ow!"
You walk up and punch the wall, and all 4 walls crumble and fly off in a million different pieces.
"Woah! My sister is so amazing!" Lloyd says weakly smiling at you.
"How is this possible?" Zane says looking at the thick layer of ice.
"Sensei said her elements will be strongest in our presence. Practically invincible. Although her powers are already stronger than ours." Cole says wrapping his arm around you.
"That is so amazing!" Kai says
"You're a fast learner! I can't wait to teach you spinjitzu!" Cole says smiling dreamily at you, as you start cleaning your mess up.
"Neither can I." You say smiling at Cole.
"Let's go celebrate my sister's success with (F/M)!" Lloyd says shakily standing, as you and Cole help him indoors.
Lloyd
"(Y/N), I really want you to learn how to control your powers. You know... in case you ever need it if you get into a fight." Lloyd says holding your hand and looking you in the eyes.
"Alright Lloyd. Help me learn." You say as he helps you up, and leads you to the game room.
"What do you want to start with?" Lloyd asks.
"I guess healing since I've done that twice before. Then teleportation, and lastly my shield."
"I should probably get the others, so you can learn how to do it with people other than me." Lloyd says as he walks out and grabs the others.
"I'm excited! This is gonna be so fun!" Jay says walking in with the others.
"Listen (Y/N), we're going to harm each other, so it simulates a battle. Some will be simple, some will be vital, but you need to practice the common injuries. Heal us the best you can, I promise I'll help." Lloyd says as the guys start to grab some weapons. (Yes I know they wouldn't actually do this. See A/N at bottom to receive an explanation. I just don't want to see all the comments blowing up about how "they wouldn't do that." Not trying to be salty... sorry not sorry)
"What if I can't heal someone and they die?"
"(Y/N), I know you can do it." Lloyd says reassuringly.
"Ok. Let's do this then." You say mentally preparing yourself, as they start.
Kai comes over first with a big laceration on his arm. You attempt to heal him but it doesn't work.
"Lloyd! Help me!" You say starting to panic.
"(Y/N), calm down and concentrate. Just think about what you did with me." He says putting a hand on your shoulder.
You take a deep breath and try again. Kai's laceration starts to heal, and you feel accomplished in life. It eventually heals completely, and Kai looks at you amazed.
"That is so cool!" He says walking off and waiting for the next person.
Next, Jay comes to you with a stab wound to the leg and it's badly bleeding, and suddenly all the memories from when you were captured come flooding back to you. Before you panic, you remind yourself that you can heal him this time. You are able to successfully heal him without any trouble at all.
"That's my girl! I know you can heal fatal wounds because you've done that before. So let's move on to teleportation!" Lloyd says hugging you.
"How do I teleport?" You ask
"How'd you do it last time?"
"I thought about it really ha– oh! That's how I do it!" You say
You think really hard, and soon teleport out to the living room. Lloyd comes rushing out of the game room, and smiles when he sees you.
"I want to try to do it farther. Want anything from town?" You ask.
"Candy!" Lloyd says as the others give him a look.
You think about the candy store you and Lloyd usually go to, and you're suddenly there. You buy some candy, and teleport back to the monastery. All the ninja stare at you shocked.
"Awesome! Thanks babe!" Lloyd says kissing you and taking the candy from the bag.
"Lloyd lets finish. We still have one more thing to go through."
"Oh yeah.. honestly it's the same as everything else. Concentrate. And I believe you can also shield someone across the room, with shielding yourself, but let's start little." Lloyd says.
"I'm gonna throw a punch. You try to throw a shield up and block it." Cole says walking over to you.
He throws a punch and you quickly throw up your shield, and keep it there while he continues to punch it.
"You're good! You barely need any practice! Now let's try throwing one up across the room." Lloyd says as he grabs a knife, and throws it across the room.
It's heading straight for Jay, and you quickly throw up a shield to protect him. It protects him just in time, as the knife hits it, and falls to the ground.
"Oh my goodness! Thank you for saving me!" Jay says running up and giving you a hug.
"Even if I hit you, she could've healed you." Lloyd says
"Oh... right. I knew that." Jay chuckles, and follows the others out the door.
"I'm proud of you!" Lloyd says kissing you on the forehead.
"Thanks, Lloyd." You say blushing.
"Now, let's go reward ourselves with this candy." He says leading you out of the game room, and down to his room.
Finally got this chapter finished. Sorry it took so long, I've been busy with classes, and band, and I've been working out the wazoo. Plus I had a bad case of writers block. I hope you like this update, let me know in the comments. Sorry the beginning of Lloyd's isn't that good. I ran out of ideas, and that was the only thing I could think of. I'll get the next update out as soon as I can, and I'm planning on it to be "When You Learn Spinjitzu" Also if you have any suggestions let me know, because with what I have now, we are already over half way through this book.
